  3. disconnect all external devices before installing.
  4. check your hard disk for errors:

  Click on "Run as Administrator"
  At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /r
  When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

  try to perform the recovery by using the partition.  boot f11 and recovery manager must take over. If not, or if the process does not finish successfully, perform a large hard drive. If the test successfully you will need to order a copy of your HP recovery disk.

  as an alternative, you can create a new admin account and simply delete your existing account after.

• Not loadable VI

  I recently inherited an application of LV, which was compiled using LabVIEW 7.0; the machines that we currently are running LabVIEW 2010.

  I get the standard "VI is not loadable" message when you try to load one of the subVIs and I suspect that the first reason, she suggests is correct;

  You get this error if the VI has been saved with no block diagram, which you can do via a backup with Options. If there is no block diagram LabVIEW can recompile the VI. You need to get the original VI with the block diagram or guess what he does and re-create yourself.

  I received the same error in Labview 2010 SP1. I think it has to do with Labview trying to allocate enough memory for the story that you said you are trying to keep. We need to find a way to reset this value by default without opening the VI. I do research on the issue, but did not find a way yet.

  PC system is homebuild which, in theory, exceed the minimum requirements of the system of manufacturers.  Operating system is Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 3.  The scanner is connected to the USB 2.0 card that is not separately powered, but installed in the PCI slot.  I suspect that the problem lies in the PC rather than the scanner. but do not know what the problem is.  Any help would be appreciated!
