Is it possible to find a workflow in the vCO based on its ID?

The normal vCO search doesn't seem to be able to find it, or do advanced research

    Yes you can, I would say at the outset you do not add too many criteria, but rather seek to constantly refine and edit your program (s) that you were going to.

  • Workflow based on the input parameter

    I use JDev 11.1.1.6.

    I have an application that uses a workflow with 'ExecuteWithParams' to get the parameter from a URL and display the records on a page.

    I have it using a Bind Variable on the VO that corresponds to the InputParameter on the control ExecuteWithParams.
    What I would like to make is the flow to another page, depending on the parameter used in the URL.

    Example:

    If param in the URL is '? TEAM = 1 "then I go to the TEAM page and display records for TEAM 1.

    If param in the URL is '? REGION = 3 "then I would go to the REGION page and display records for REGION 3.

    This could probably be resolved using a router activity or a custom default activity in the workflow method. Then from the method/router, can easily get to the desired activity of the TF based on an input parameter. For example if the parameter is route 'region' to executeRegionIteratorWithParams, which, in turn, can "go" to view displayRegions activity.

    Dan, time based workflow is not available at this time. However, a custom web service program could be used to achieve this functionality.

    My question: is it possible to use the af: menuBar with these models of menu (instead of navigationPanes or bread crumbs)?

  • Orchestrator workflow permissions

    I use "share a single session" because I want regular workflows to run a given employee regardless of AD account being active.  Thus, the service account, that I use to 'Share a single session' has all rights in vCenter.

    However I do want all users to have the ability to create workflows with the permissions of the service account that can do anything vRO.  Aside from move to each workflow and assignment of rights to all users to indicate flows they can and cannot run, is there an easier way to configure permissions in the vRO and allow different levels of performance of workflow based on different ad groups?

    Well, I hope it's useful for you, then...

    Assuming all your users is not Admins...

    You can create folders of the element and grant permissions that can display/use the attributes of elements / you create in the folder.  (it's nothing except administrators by default I think)

    When you as an administrator (or a user with permissions) creates a workflow, these attributes of the element can be associated with the workflow.  The workflow can live in a folder with permissions as well.  (once again for administrator users)

    If you give all your users admin connections... you cannot use builtin permissions as a method to control what is happening in vRO.  We add several other groups of people through groups of ads in vRO.  When they connect, they can only see and work in the folders that we have granted permissions to.  They cannot run our workflows privileged because they do not and are not authorized to them.  They can use * our * Admin elements because they do not and are not authorized to them.  They see their records and the library by default.  Make us copies of all protected workflows and move them to an area protected for the things we (administrators) working on.

  • Workflow for specific products/catalogues

    Hi people. I use BC to a customer for over a year now. Online store has been produced all downloadable, so it worked pretty much on autopilot and all customers had to worry about was it supply new content on a regular basis, which was the issue of the use of BC. Problem is the client now wants to introduce one or two products that need to be delivered physically and she must be organized manually.

    My plan was to implement a workflow that automatically sends the customer whenever one of these products is bought. The problem is, I can't seem to find a way to attach a workflow to a specific product in the catalogue. The only option seems to be to set up a workflow for all orders, which means that the customer receives hundreds of emails about download purchases that she didn't need. Of course, you then run the risk of missing a manual delivery e-mail in among others. Clearly I'm missing something obvious (again). Can someone help me?

    In short, how can I get a notification if someone buys A product, but not if they buy products B, C, D, E...?

    Oh man that is rude. I really don't think there is a way to manage the workflow based on a catalogue/product in particular.

    However what we can do is set up your customer in the CRM, and then use drop shipping to warn when a physical product is purchased.

  • Outcome of permission - workflow approval

    I get the following error when executing the following process-

    1-3 applications are configured. 2 DBAT (Oracle) and 1 DBUM (Oracle).
    2. 3 access policies are defined in provision for applications above, based on the role of the user.
    3. the GTC Recon is configured to get the details in the flat file.
    4. I defined an approval process with the assignment set to a constant for the end-user, administrator (ApprovalManager3).
    5. set the rule for the determination of the process and attaches to the subject of the approval process resource.

    The political means of access is set up is based on the roles, seller, buyer, purchases that I defined in the roles of research. Based on the roles of the user gets an access policy and is assigned to applications. Any access policy have all 3 applications that are configured to be placed in service when it is triggered.

    Now, 1 of the access policy that I said "with approval". So approval goes to the ApporvalManager3 after that I got ApprovalManager3 in the list of administrators in the resource of the Application (DBUM - Oracle) 1. The problem is when the ApprovalManager3 approves the request, the user is created in the DBUM - Oracle resource, but forms of the child of the roles DBUM and DBUM privileges are not met. This forms were be filled before the strategy with the approval process.

  • ExecuteWithParams in the stubborn workflow?

    I use ADF 11 g and I am trying to achieve the following:
    < ul > < li > I have a page with a read-only table.
    < li > the user selects a row in the table, and then click one of the buttons above the table action.
    < li > A popup appears, which shows some details on selected lines, as well as some edit fields to add an entry for the action to perform on the selected record.
    < li > the user clicks OK, a PL/SQL procedure in the database is called to perform the action on the record selected with the input values given. < /ul >

    I have already created most of the features:
    buttons of selection and action < ul > < li > the homepage with the read-only table, single line.
    < li > delimited the workflow based on fragments of the page.
    < li > a fragment of page for each action.
    < li > popup has a region to incorporate fragments in. < /ul >

    I followed the diagram of the Incorporation of the regions inside the pop up windows to implement all of this. Most works very well. When I select a line and press action buttons, popup appears with the right fragment in it. The only problem is that the selected record does not appear, the fragment always shows the first record in the table.

    As you can see, the default activity is an ExecuteWithParams. The idea is that this ExecuteWithParams selects a record unique, based on the pclNummer value, which must be unique. The ExecuteWithParams is defined in the pageDef as follows:

    My questions are:
    < ul > < li > by passing the value of key of the selected record and then retrieve the record again seem a bit too complicated for me. Is somehow possible to just get the record selected in the main page in the stubborn workflow?
    < li > if this is not possible, what I am doing wrong in my current approach? Why the ExecuteWithParams works not as long as expected? (It is actually running, I checked that, by setting a breakpoint on this subject). < /ul >

    If you launch the TaskFlow in a dialog you must pass information as an input TaskFlow parameter. And then read you in the TaskFlow and run the query using a method activity.

    Although I don't have any direct url for you right away, I have worked with the creation of workflow based on web using marketing for collection of payment automation / credit treatment several times. We used Authorize.net and Paypal in the past among others.

    From your post, it seems that the best approach might be,

    • Create a custom outside Eloqua web form to collect and process the payment. This can be done using various technologies, php, .NET, java etc.
    • After the payment has been processed successfully, this external form should submit non-financial information to your server Eloqua using server-side http post.

    In a post aside, the server made before treatment he reposts back to Eloqua. In your example, the form of implementation in custom web technologies such as php or asp .NET etc collects other confidential information or credit card information, collect payment, and then validate the non financial data to Eloqua.

    You can just create custom Web pages to collect information of credit card and of payment etc. and choose not to publish information about Eloqua but you might miss out on opportunities such as:

    • The depositing of custom form are not cookied by Eloqua. I'm sure you want to keep track of these people and their future interactions and behavior online.

    Use the syntax of cURL to leave the code php on your webserver to validate sending the form to Eloqua via http and the sender process cookie.

    On the other hand, you might want to consider CVENT app. I think that there is a Paypal application in also works at Eloqua.
