  If I erase and reload my camera, can I recharge my BlackBerry protect the back upward?

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second:

  • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
  • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
  • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
  • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

  I'm trying to remove some languages of my Torch 9850. I recently spent the unit from a torch defective 9850 in a replacement as new from Verizon. Entering BDS V 7.1.0.41, loading Applications gets me only for the applications that I installed from Blackberry World, but it does give me no other options as he used to do the last time I needed to change the language, which was in February, two months ago. I checked for software updates and the BDS and the 7 OS is up-to-date (OS7 v7.1.0.755 platform 5.1.0.553). I repair, BDS installed and installed with no luck. Ideas?   The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (3) download and install on your computer, the BB OS exact package that is currently running on your BB:

  4) remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  You have stumbled into one of the most delicate things BBS. For security, you can assign a device lock password which, if your BB is lost or stolen, will take care of wiping the BB correctly clean once someone fails to enter the password too many times. This password is also, as you have learned, required when you attached to the PC.

  The thing that happened is that the password you typed on the PC keyboard was not him you have assigned to the lock of BB. Even if you thought that you type the right keys, you weren't. The BB keyboard is so small that each key has to do a lot of different functions, and they change according to different control keys (alt, caps, etc.). Therefore, when you created the password on the BB, you thought that you type one thing when you were actually typing something completely different. When you attached to the computer, that you have entered the same thing that you thought that always typing you on the keyboard of BB... but this was not correct, as the PC keyboard and the BB keyboard are different. • BlackBerry Smartphones pass photos from BB to the PC

  The pictures stored in the card media on my Bold 9650 appear not on the BB desktop software to transfer them to my PC. I can see the photos on my BB. The software shows the map of media in areas of device options and shows how it is free. When I click on images in the Media Sync I get the message "no available pictures - there no pictures to import from your device.

  I also see the image files using folder in my windows management areas, but of course it is not good to copy on my PC directly because they are encrypted and cannot be opened.

  It can be much more than the it policy is limit exactly what you are trying to (copy to the PC things of the BB). You should probably talk to them before being certain of what they block, and that they do not block.

  Had one major flaw 3 weeks ago while in portugal. App error 523 came on a WSOD. I reinstalled the operating system using a Portuguese pc (not easy because my Portuguese is, well, uh,... zip!) So I went from 4.7 to V5. Icons and screen were very slightly different, and everything seemed fine. Then I found that it lacked the applications provided with my old operating system. Notepad, word must go, excel to go and similar. In the apps folder to store all that I now have files, video recorder, recorder, voice, saved messages and compose.

  Where have they gone?

  BB support is useless and the missing 'contact us' from their site Web means that I can't, uh... contact them!

  Hi, it's nothing too serious. All you have to do is to connect your device to Desktop Manager blackberry on pc (download it from this site if you have not already) and wait for the application list to load. Then in a columns will be a checkbox next to all the names of the application. To add an app on your device, check the box, then once you have added all the necessary applications, click on the white box "sync" under the link, then follow the instructions.

  I just bought my first BlackBerry - Curve 9320.  There are a number of icons on the screen, including one called "messages".  I just found how to add my personal email address to my phone.  Soon I'd made a new icon, with my email address on it now appeared on the phone next to the "messages" icon  So far so good.  However, whenever I get an email today on my phone it appears also in the "messages" icon  Double the meassages - and confusion.  Help!

  You will not see "dataviz' listed anywhere on your BB... Look at Options > Advanced > Applications and find DocumentsToGo?

  If not, reopen the Desktop Manager > Application Loader and find the Advanced button and check DocumentsToGo.

  Text messages are managed by your carrier. I can only suggest to use a client of sms 3rd party like SMSCrunch. Maybe, that can give you the time, it was sent or received.

  You can also ask your carrier for the same information and whether they can send it to you (some of my friends who make heavy texting, have asked their carriers send delivery times with their bills.)

• Contacts and blackBerry Smartphones BBM icon disappeared

  I downloaded a new version of BB Appworld a few days ago, and since then my BBM icon and contacts have disappeared. No luck, I looked in the Instant Messaging folder, the apprlications and the downloadswith. I took the battery and released on the phone so many times and failed. When I look in my APPS list, is to show that I have installed the BB Messenger, but then when I click on it, I don't see's comments, recommend and screenshots. I tried to see if I can uninstall and then download it everywhere, but I was not able to do it anymore. I tried to work with the technical support of my carrier without success. Help, please!

  1. On your BlackBerry, go to Options > advanced > Applications.
  2. Highlight BBMessenger and click it, just highlight it.
  3. Press Menu > delete. Leave it to delete.
  4. After that is completed, make a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  5. Now, after reboot, use your browser to BlackBerry to access this URL: www.blackberry.com/messenger
  6. Click on the link to download it... don't go back to AppWorld to download, do it right from this URL.
