restart the ctl second in a WISN (6509)

It is a fair way to restart the ctl second on a WISN... WS-SVC-WISN-1-K9

Console session and cable commandare not an option. They both died. . thought I can try 'hw-module subslot 9/2 reload' that does not work either... 9 being the slot number and 2 being the second controller.

The hw - mod command sup720 is your only option.  Reset draw two controllers.  It's not a way to reboot only one of the controllers of the blade without going into the controller.

  • Would never be able to stop or restart the computer in the menu after the 10.11.5 update and cannot get the 10.11.6 because iMac restart

    After the 10.11.5 update, that I could never restart or shut down my iMac (late 2013, 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3) using the new menu. I can only stop it by pressing the button for a few seconds. I saw a few discussions addressing the question here and have tried to implement some of the solutions proposed, such as restarting in safe mode, deleting the application from Wacom-, but nothing has worked. Now I can't get the 10.11.6 updating or update my Adobe Creative cloud, incidentally, which became available to me, because I can't restart the computer. Do you know if this update would be better and solve the problem? Is there a way I can get this update even if I cannot restart the computer, or even to restore the system to an earlier version?

    Perhaps run EtreCheck and post the results here.

  • After the upgrade to 3.6 my FlashDrive falls down while I'm playing Farmville. I tried to update the flash player. I tried to restart the computer. Nothing works.

    Last night, my system was still using Firefox 3.5.8. I played Farmville on Facebook and everything worked well. This morning, I connect to my computer and find that I upgraded to Firefox 3.6. I tried to play Farmville all morning and Adobe Flash Player continues to break. I tried to update Flash Player. I tried to restart the computer. Nothing works.

    Another potential cause of this problem is that the lock timeout is set too low:

    1. Select the address bar of Firefox (click or press CTRL + L)
    2. Type of topic: config and press enter
    3. Click on I'll be careful, I promise!
    4. in the filter box, type dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs
    5. Double-click the setting and change the number.

    The default number is 10, for a default timeout of 10 seconds. Some games Flash can be slow and requires a higher setting. I would recommend to change that to 20 if you have problems with this.

    In addition, it would really help if people who encounter this problem let us know what games Flash is slow - and as soon as they are slow. Thank you!

  • Must regularly restart the DHCP Client - HP Pavilion 500-205 DT - Windows 7

    HP Pavilion 500-205 DT - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller - pilot 7.67.1226.2012

    Bought 3 identical machines for our daycare. Set up the same. All work fine except ONE of them becomes inaccessible periodically (every day more or less) on other computers on our small LAN-to-peer Windows. You can see, but cannot access any shared folder. To access OTHER computers on the local network of it there is NO problem. All 3 machines have the same profile sharing, workgroup, permissions, AV, firewall, all settings. I realized by restarting the computer solved the problem immediately but temporarily. I reduced to restart the DHCP Client service. Do all works well immediately, but temporarily.

    I tried the things:

    Call support HP - not useful at all. It is under warranty.

    IPv6 disabled

    Disabled wireless

    Disabled network card stopcock energy saving

    Definition of recovery CLIENT DHCP on:

    First failure = restarting the Service

    Second failure = restarting the Service

    Subsequent failures = restarting the Service

    Reset Fail Count after = 120

    Restart the Service after = 0

    But again, this is not the case for other machines with the default settings. Nothing works except the Client DHCP service is restarted. Loss of access occurs with or without someone connected or using it. It has happened since its first establishment.

    I don't know if the HP warranty covers the OS loaded at the factory. I don't want to restore the thing and start over. I'm not a Pro, just the guy in the office who did these things, but it seems that the network card may be faulty. I don't know if I can convince a person of first level support phone to have me bring the machine in an approved place.

    Any help greatly appreciated,

    Larry

  • 9033 OR & NI 9870 - series recording parameters do not restart the cRIO.

    Hello

    I have a cRIO OR 9033 with two RS232 9870 cards. The two cards series and their ports do not appear when I turn on the cRIO. When I run my executable in real time, once it crashes, saying: he cannot find the ports I ask. After that it crashes, the channels appear in MAX and VISA resource controls, and when I run the program a second time, it works very well. Why does this happen? Is it possible that I can have the save of the series, so I don't need to have the program crash whenever the cRIO starts?

    I run my program in hybrid mode. I Interface FPGA and including two maps cRIO outside the FPGA target, like this:

    I tried the cancellation of the deployment and the deployment of all, but it does not help. It blocks the first time regardless if I execute the suite of LabVIEW Development or if I deploy it as an RT executable and run at startup.

    Here are some pictures of what is happening:

    10-port VISA should be available. The two on the chassis and four for each card to 9870.

    When I start first cRIO, only the ports of two chassis looks for selection in a control channel VISA:

    And the channels do not arise to the MAX:

    Showing also currently installed software.

    When I go to the settings of NI-VISA 14.0.0 page I see this:

    Channels appear here, but nowhere else.

    When I try to run my program, I get this error:

    And after the error, the channels appear in LabVIEW and MAX!

    Series settings will remain as long as I leave the cRIO powered. If I disable, settings series pannals and I need run my program once only it crash before I can use the serial ports.

    I would really like for these settings apply automatically without having it fail the first time.

    Any suggestions?

    I also run hybrid FPGA on cRIO with cards 9870 and 9871 under the scanning engine you are. I also noticed behaviour buggy when accessing the COM ports - for example, if the cRIO running the executable version of his program and you interrupt it to run the same program in interactive mode, often, you receive the error message "missing resources VISA." So what I do is restart the cRIO with the disabled startup application.

    I honestly would not bother to configure anything through MAX when it comes to your cRIO. You configure port configuration programmatically. In the process of initialization of your program, open your bitfile, run it, wait, a few seconds to have everything settle, make a VISA "find resources" and confirm all your ports appear, then use the VISA to configure and open the port by program. This way worked for me.

  • Installation of the automatic update continuously restarts the computer

    Has been notified of an automatic update, so I clicked on install.  An update was IE8.  Don't know what the other was.

    At one point, the update indicated that it needed to restart the computer to complete the update.
    Computer turns off and when he started upward, the following text appeared:

    Configuring updates stage 3 of 3 0% complete
    Do not turn off your computer

    It remained for about 5-10 seconds while the computer off.
    It's now an infinite loop which he can't seem to escape.

    I tried to reboot in safe mode and command mode prompt secure, but it keeps on rebooting over and over again.  Update supposedly created a restore point, but I can't restore.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358 does not work because the computer still restarts when starting in safe mode.

    Now that?

    Was able to borrow a Vista CD and get to a restore point. It seems that perhaps the only way to recover because no security Modes allowed Windows to come. Next computer will be Linux!

  • Restart the error for Windows Vista with the recovery disk

    I bought a Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6889 about two years ago. It came with Windows Vista. I subscribed to Norton AntiVirus and it totally messed up the computer. We lived with a duration of 5 to 10 minutes from start-up. In addition, many programs crash and it takes a lot of time for anything to work. I decided to for a recovery and a restore using the disks provided with the laptop. I followed the instructions, but it keeps hanging up on the second disc.

    I tried to use a method that I found searching for forums (restart the computer by pressing '0', but I got lost on the loading cycle.) I'm not very strong programming and I guess when a CD provided by the company must be used for recovery, it should work.  All my programs were legitimate, I want just my OS back so that I can use my computer.

  • updates Windows returns to the start-up and restart the portable computer

    I put a clean image of windows 7 on my laptop and started running the updates of windows. There were 200 +. They download and restarted the computer and start the installation. The problem is now that he gets so far installs it fails and he returned to the starting point and then restart the laptop and the process begins again. They only way I can get back to my computer through safe mode. Any suggestions?

    Try excluding upgrades recommended to install important updates and only load the Important updates first which should be updated about 159 200 not.

    If you get hung up refer to the latter.

    It is expected by M$, we must now jump through hoops to clean install.

    If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

    Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

    Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

    Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

    take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

    updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

    You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

  • Why then I restart the application immediately?

    After reading around, I feel that it is recommended to plan restarting the app for up to a minute later as follows:

    ApplicationDescriptor descr = ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor();
    ApplicationDescriptor newDesc = new ApplicationDescriptor( descr,
        "My App Name",
        new String[] { "myArgument" },
        descr.getPosition(),
        descr.getNameResourceBundle(),
        descr.getNameResourceId(),
        ApplicationDescriptor.FLAG_AUTO_RESTART | ApplicationDescriptor.FLAG_SYSTEM
        );
    ApplicationManager appManager = ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager();
    appManager.scheduleApplication(newDesc,System.currentTimeMillis() + 60001, true);
    System.out.println("Application is exiting..." );
    System.exit(0);
    return;

    However, an immediate restart seems to work just fine, the following:

    ApplicationDescriptor descr = ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor();
    ApplicationDescriptor newDesc = new ApplicationDescriptor( descr,
        "My App Name",
        new String[] { "myArgument" },
        descr.getPosition(),
        descr.getNameResourceBundle(),
        descr.getNameResourceId(),
        ApplicationDescriptor.FLAG_AUTO_RESTART | ApplicationDescriptor.FLAG_SYSTEM
        );
    ApplicationManager appManager = ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager();
    try
    {
        appManager.runApplication(newDesc);
        System.exit(0);
        return;
    }
    catch(ApplicationManagerException e)
    {
        // Handle situation when application cannot run
        System.out.println("Couldn't restart app: " + e.getMessage());
    }

    Can someone explain why I should do it the first way instead please? I really don't want a delay if I can help it.

    Reviewing logs of my release, I also wonder why the application scheduled (with delay ms 60001) often seems to run within 30 seconds after the restart. I run on a simulator of 9930 at present.

    Thank you very much.

    Think that if you were just amgr.launchApplication, if executed somehow before the end of the app was fully, he could just go back to the app in the foreground, and it ends then cancel.  So it would not launch.

    but you can try it

    An alternative is to include another point of entry for the same app module, which, directly by hand, simply appmgr.launchApplication what you're trying to restart.  Then you put one launchApplication for this other point of entry where you currently have the scheduleApplication, and it could act as a relay, ensure that enough that delaying the application probably will restart immediately after that he finished closing.

    that is to say:

    project 1: CoffeeMaker.jdp regular app, no arguments module name: company_CoffeeMaker

    project 2: CoffeeMakerReset.jdp alternate entry point to CoffeeMaker module name: company_CoffeeMaker argument: Starter check "System App"

    class CoffeeMaker {  public static CoffeeMaker app;

      public static void main(String args[]) {    if ((args.length > 0) && args[0].equals("Starter")) {      ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().launchApplication("company_CoffeeMaker");      }    else {      app = new CoffeeMaker();      try {        app.enterEventDispatcher();        } catch (Exception e) {        ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().launchApplication("company_CoffeeMaker?Starter");        }      }    }

     }

    Personally, I use scheduleApplication with a 10 second delay.

  • Restart the application

    Dear all, I would like to restart the application programmatically. Is this possible? If possible invite you to share the sample sample. Thanks & regards Sudhakar choup

    Use ApplicationManager to restart the application. In the example below, we establish the restart to 60.1 seconds start time in the future. It is because the time has a granularity of one minute.

    See the javadocs for ApplicationManager

    ApplicationDescriptor thisApp = ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor ();
    ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager (.scheduleApplication) (thisApp, System.currentTimeMillis () + 60100, true);

  • Implementation of the updated code without having to restart the Simulator?

    I use Eclipse 3.5.1 with the plug-in of the BlackBerry Java 1.1.1 with the BlackBerry Java SDK 5.0.0.14.

    Running the BlackBerry Simulator works very well. However when I update my code and try to run or debug him again once I get the following error:

    "BlackBerry debugging session is already active. BlackBerry that a debugging session can be active at a given time. »

    If I close the Simulator, then I can run the updated as expected in a new Simulator code. However this slows me down because I have to wait 60 + seconds for the Simulator load to make my updated code can run.

    Is it possible to update the currently running program without restarting the Simulator?

    Debugs faster with a physical device?

    Thank you

    Drew

    No, at the 2009 BlackBerry Developer Conference they have demonstrated that the code of Hot-Swap, GUI Builder and cross-platform support using Eclipse and says that these features would come out of 2010 (from what I remember; GUI Builder-early 2010 but in another post, one of the devs RIM said they aim for mid-2010, Hot-Swap and cross-platform would be mid-2010). Patience and it will come... wish just time would go faster.

  • Switches to color when you restart the computer profile or wakes from sleep

    I bought a Dell Inspiron 1470 with Windows 7 at home as a backup of my MacBook Pro.  I used the Spyder2Express to calibrate my screen that works well.  After that I restarted my PC the color profile has been enabled for a few short seconds, but then returned to the default setting, which is horribly blue and too bright.

    I then removed the color profile created by my Spyder2Express and used Windows' built in the calibration of the monitor.  Yet once, it worked until I rebooted the computer, or he woke from sleep mode.

    I then wen to the control panel-->--> the color management advanced and assured the new profile is the default value of the system.  The problem still remained after the computer is restarted.

    The only solution I have found so far is if after I restarted my pc I go to Panel of--> of color management and select and clear the checkbox "use my settings for this device."  My profile will then return until I restart the next time.

    As a pro photographer, it is a question that is extremely disappointing.  I searched forums, web, called Dell directly and none of this was of no help.  Any thoughts?

    Hi Mike,.

    It seems that software Spyder2Express adds color profile after each reboot. We can check if really Spyder2Express is the origin of the problem

    Method 1:

    Uninstall Spyder 2 express and check if the return of the issue after each reboot.

    Method 2:

    Configure the computer to boot and then refine the boot entry that is causing the problem

    Step 1: Perform a clean boot:

    Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.
    a. log in the computer using an account with administrator rights.
    b. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    d. under the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
    e. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
    Note following this step lets Microsoft services continue to operate. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.
    f. click OK and then click on restart.

    Step 2: Enable half the services

    a. click on the Services tab and then click to select the skin all the Microsoft services checkbox.
    b. Click to select half of the check boxes in the Service list.
    c. click OK and then click on restart.

    Solve the problem:
    After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

    Reset the computer to start as usual:
    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    All the steps above to perform the clean boot is mentioned in the following article
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Hope this helps,
    A Mir.

    I have a new question now, if update SunJava caused my windows Explorer keep crashing how can I keep the java software to install this update again? Thanks a lot for your help.
