  I recently upgraded from vCenter 5.1 to 5.5. After the upgrade, I started getting health warnings for the VMware vCenter monitoring of Storage Service that say "failed to initialize the Service." I restarted the vCenter server and restart services several times and who has not deleted the question. When I look in the SMS. LOG file there is no activity in it since I did the upgrade (a week or more there). All prior activity in the SMS. JOURNAL seems to be well upward until the upgrade took place though. Just to be complete, although I saw the symptoms in the articles and none of them really seem to be the same as what I see. My hypothesis is that perhaps the SMS did not get properly re-installed upgrading because I don't see any SMS subdirectory in the directory \Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\webapps but I do not know if this directory must exist on a 5.5 installation.

  If you would be grateful if anyone has any advice for troubleshooting for this type of error.

  Change the credentials of the service account for VMware vSphere Profile-Driven Storage Service to those used to start the VMware vCenter Server service and the service of VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices. By default, the account used Local System.

  I recently performed an upgrade out of place of Oracle 11.2.0.2 at 11.2.0.4 by following the checklist to upgrade Oracle (Doc ID 1276368.1).  While doing an RMAN backup, I noticed he was doing market back files .dbf since the old Oracle 11.2.0.2 rather than the new Oracle 11.2.0.4 Directory directory.  The .dbf files that are being backed up are not in the new Oracle 11.2.0.4 directory.  Must the .dbf files be copied to the Oracle of old House to the new House Oracle after an upgrade?

Maybe a few extension you have involved, but whatever the cause you could now have corrupted or old installed bookmarks. If you continue to say daily manual backups that you know that the worst cases, is that you lose only part of a days bookmarking.

  yesterday I updated firmware of my 32TL838 to version 6.4.0Y.1 / 94.6.27.8 using the upgrade feature network.

  After the upgrade, I reset the TV to start again with the factory settings.

  During the quick installation after the reset, I noticed a very bad video quality. The entire image flickered, had a ghost effect and looked at interlaced. The menus were almost illegible.

  Once the installation is complete, the TV switched TV (cable DTV) normal mode and at least the TV picture looked quite normal. While the input CABLE is selected, I can also open menus as before, they are displayed correctly.

  But as soon as I switch to the HDMI input, the image becomes nuts once again, just like during the initial installation, including recoveries of TV menu. Sometimes it becomes stable for maybe 30 seconds, but then he is paralyzed again.

  A few words about my setup: TV uses only input HDMI 1 and the cable entry, nothing else is connected.

  (Youtube stopped working with the old firmware and it seems that 1080 p/60 Hz no longer works with the latest firmware).

  Anyone know how to downgrade the firmware using a USB? I already downloaded the previuos version tl838_853886.bin but I do not have a nail how (and if) it can be installed.

  Feliks's right. If you install the clean operating system, all drivers and stuff of Toshiba you can find on Toshiba support and download page.

  Factory settings, you can have if you use original Toshiba recovery CD/DVD only.
