RMS Expressway Cisco licenses for B2B calls

Hi Experts,

We have Cisco Expressway Setup for B2B calls. We have 6 licenses RMS across Highway C & E, making 3 on EXP E and 3 on EXP C.

Now, I'm able to do 3 Conference of the party including the host. Myself and 2 other B2B calls for a video conference. Where that we watched for 3 with the exception of the host Party Conference.

We were under the impression that if we buy 3 licenses RMS, we have 4 video party conference. It's 3 outside calls excluding the host.

Can someone explain how the RMS license.

Our IPT put in place:

CUCM 10.5

SX20 - recorded at CUCM

Motorway C - containing 3 licenses RMS

Highway E - containing 3 licenses RMS

Concerning

Hi, Renaud,.

Licenses RMS are concurrent, so in your case both licenses RMS (one in each Expressway) per call are necessary. You can check the following positions related to similar queries

  • Cisco Jabber Im b2b calls

    Hello world!

I m deployment the following scenario:

    CUCM--> exp - c--> exp - e

I registered sx10 and cisco jabbers on Cucm and I've implemented mra and b2b on the solution of the highway. Of sx10 I can dial in the external domain, everythings and the external ip address work very well.

Also, I downloaded jabber - config.xml for uri component of jabbers users but I have a problem: when I compose b2b calls from a jabber user, the call comes in the highway-c, but this uses the time zone of the mra to the highway e, then "Service unavailable" error. I have already added the b2b area and works well endpoint sx10, but not jabbers users.

    Can someone help me?

    Kind regards!

Something weird going on here. Looks like Jabber's still doing this call as a call MRA.

Try adding a SIP (area boss) route in CUCM for externaldomain.es and refer her to your B2B SIP Trunk 5560 to Expressway. Then restart Jabber and try the call again. If it does not please post again the history of the research.

  • Configuration ExpresswayC/e 8.5 for B2B calls fails to external domains

    Hello

I am trying to config Highway C/E for B2B scenario.

The end user has no DNS Public so all the resolution is by its public IP address. In addition ExpresswayE has an IP address in the DMZ (single NIC option)

    I have the following problem:

Call (h323 or URI) of the remote third listening outgoing calling for and after answering no video and voice.

For incoming calls, the remote side to see the appeal abandoned, no dial tone and the premises of the party never listen to ringtone. In ExpresswayC I do not see

the call attempt, I can see the call to ExpresswayE attempt.

I followed a guide of configuration, but actually I'm not sure of the rule processing and research I have to config in highway C/E

When there is no Public DNS.

You have inspection of SIP on your firewall? If so, try turning it off.

  • Highway X8.2.2, Changing default SIP Port for B2B calls is not possible

    Much of community support.

    I 10.5.1 (SU1) of CUCM and X8.2.2 Expressway.

I have configured without VPN Jabber and B2B based on the Document calls "CVD-CollabEdgeUsingBE6000 - Apr14.pdf.

everything worked fine for months, but after the upgrade of the X8.2.2 Express way B2B calls are no more work.

After troubleshooting, I found the following:

the DSF Guide tells me to change the default Port to 5061 to 5560 B2B calls because 5061 is also used for the integration of Jabber.

When I look at my record of wirekshark I see cucm tries to connect to the port 5560 expressway, but after sending a SYN packet, cucm receives a RST packet.

When I change back to the port of 5560 to 5061, everything works well again for B2B, but of course encrypted calls Jabber connection is not possible more.

for me, it looks like a bug, but I found nothing on the 'Bug search' tool.

I also tried to disable all Protection rules and I also have a firewall rule for Port 5560. I also tried to change the TCP Port to something different, 3999 for example. All this without success.

Just a little look in the guide.

Two caveats. First thing the guide explains unencrypted SIP - TCP connections, if you want to be aware that both sides use TCP or TLS. If you are using TLS certificates must be good as well.

5560 isn't a port on the highway, this is the port for the trunk on CUCM.

What do you see CUCM sending to Highway: 5560 Setup is not ok.

The port of the highway will not be changed.

If you look at page 30, he 5560 port is used for the "incoming Port *" and the bottom of page 31

You can see that it uses the Expressway IP with port 5060.

On the highway, you configure the area to port 5560 (page 34)

And of course the firewall should also be ok.

Please note messages posted under the stars below and set the thread if it's an answer!

  • SIP URI B2B calls via CUCM and Highway

    Hi all

Cannot find out how to configure the SIP URI from SX codecs, recorded calls on CUCM.

I CUCM and IM & P 10.5.1 a pair of X8.5.2 expressway with two areas of course - for B2B calls, and the external jabber.

I want to make calls of SX-codecs outside via SIP, by using the URI field, for example, [email protected] / * / or [email protected] / * /. How can I configure that?

I already have the routing model, which is the SIP Trunk for Exp - C, for H323 calls by ip address. Is it possible to make a routing model to call the SIP URI?

You can see my deployment in this image.

  • Received a call saying that the license for my computer had been corrupted by a virus.

So about half an hour ago I received a call from a man claiming to be windows saying my computer driver's license starting with numbers ' #$@ "(don't remember figures, he gave me), had his 'corrupted some virus licence' (I think his exact words). I immediately thought that it was potentially a scam because I heard other scam type things that happen on the phone these days, but temporarily, I said 'ok' and he told me that they had tried to contact my computer and have been unable to do so and that he needed to look at my driver's license and give him some info to check that it has not been damaged. That's when the alarm went off in my head and I told him "that I currently have on my computer and it was very good and for him not to worry about it" and then, without waiting for an answer, I hung up.

This is the story, I didn't give any information other than that I was on my computer as he called it. I wonder if it was a scam, I just played it, and if my computer could potentially be compromised. I run Malware bytes now to scan my computer, but I'm always a little worried.

  • Free license for Esxi 6.0 Cisco custom ISO

    Dear all,

Is it possible to get the free license for Esxi 6.0 custom cisco ISO? or what can I use standard 6.0 for Cisco 6.0installation custom Esxi Esxi free license key?

I could find the free license only for Esxi 6.0 standard image customized Cisco.

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the community,

Cisco and other hardware providers offer ESXi images customized to support their equipment. However, the customization is made by adding/replacement drivers and tools. The base is still the same original VMware image. There is no specific license provider.

  • DPS for B2B Apple Store business license

    Hey everybody,

We have developed an application and successfully tested on our iPads via DPS. Our goal is to distribute the application via the B2B from Apple store and the tutorial PDF from Adobe told me to a 'business' license for DPS.

Our company uses Adobe Creative cloud and I'm wondering now if it means already we have licensed "business" for DPS, as well?

    See you soon,.

    Alex

    Lol this is not.

According to the table attached under VPN sessions, he mentions that "250 combined SESSIONS IPSec and WebVPN" and to "Max box of WebVPN Session" it is mentioned that 2nd meeting, exceeding that we must buy license optional webvpn. While we the 250 combined license for IPSec and webVPN. You are welcome.

    1 Yes

2 AnyConnect requires no Java, but it can he use when connecting to one AnyConnect SSL VPN client and launch the Web browser option start Java-based. There was a bug with the AnyConnect old versions had later who should have addresses. You also have the option to launch via IE and using ActiveX or simply throw AnyConnect directly - neither of these two methods require Java.

  • licenses for a cisco ASA active/passive pair AnyConnect SSL

Hi all. I buy 2 5512 x ASAs is configured like a pair of active/passive as a VPN device. I need to purchase licenses for both devices anyconnect? Thank you

Licenses AnyConnect Essentials (or premium) are combined on a cluster failover ASA. Reference

So, buy once only the quantity and type of licenses you need based on your end users - not based on the number of ASAs - and they will be available at the ASA Active whether primary or secondary unit.

  • Session of Rich Media of license for the highway

I bought 32 RM license for the highway, but I do not know how to apply it to expressway.

That is right, seeks license all on Exp - E or applying all about Exp - C or seeking half on Exp.-e. and a half on Exp.-c.

    Thank you.

You have divided the licenses between the two servers Expressway, so 16 for each.  If you apply them all to one of the servers Expressway, then you can not do B2B, client Jabber, or h.323/SIP Interworking outside your network, calls to/from CUCM because periphery and Expressway-Core servers work together, so they both will require license RMS.

  • Motorway E v8.5.1 / / URI Source of change for a call out

I'm changing the source URI for the calls from our internal network to the internet.  We have an internal area that is not routable on the internet and I would like to change for the routable domain.

    Example:

    Internal domain = int.company.com

    External domain = societe.com

I tried to use a CPL script on highway E (Version 8.5.1) to achieve, but it does not work for some reason any.  Here's the last CPL I am using:

    "xmlns:TAA ="http://www.tandberg.net/cpl-extensions"
    "" xmlns: xsi = "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi: schemaLocation = "urn: ietf:params:xml:ns:cpl cpl.xsd" >

                 "[email protected] / * / ' >

Someone has any ideas why this wouldn't work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Brandon

Take a look at the example in this thread for reference, ask-expert-cisco-telepresence-company, and CPL reference material in the Guide Admin Expressway.

You must change your origin depending on your internal domain, rather than match any incoming/outgoing call, see below.

    [email protected]/* */" destination=".*">
Everything else is fine, I tested it with a codec here using your example domains and the called endpoint has shown the correct source address. You have a cpl in place to change the external domain in-house for incoming calls from outside your organization to be able to find the domain that is used for your registered endpoints? Joint a CPL example is based on one that you posted where it will change the outgoing calls to use the external domain and use the internal domain, incoming calls. In addition, for use later, just say "it doesn't work" provides no information of what's going on. Sometimes you can get lucky and see the issue, but other times that we have more detailed information or see what is happening in order to help better understand where is the problem.
  • I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real?

    Windows has no

I had to spend my PC this morning. Moving it, I decided to implement a new network card. When I reconnected it all the cables, I plugged my USB mouse on another USB port where it had been plugged in before. The computer is more than 7 years old and I've never had a problem with the front Windows Validation. I have a valid license for Windows XP key code, so why the system tells me it is not currently active or real?

When Windows checks to see if you have moved your copy of Windows to "another computer", among other things, that his focus on the identification of several strands of material in the computer to see if they are different than when Windows was first installed.  I do not remember the list for now, but I remember that the network card is one of the pieces - and IIRC it is 'valuable' higher than others to reach the conclusion.

You probably other elements has changed over the past seven years and now Windows has decided to have a "new" computer  Assuming that you haven't changed the motherboard - if you had, you would have had this issue at the time wherever you did--your installation is still legal.  Reactivate using your original license key. It should work online, but you will need to call the number that appears in the error message from re - validate.

  • After I had my computer repaired, I am told that I have to buy a license for Windows XP.

I had this type of computer difficulty my Tower more than a month and he said it was difficult and able to go online. He assured me that my grandchildren could go online with it. ? It says nothing about me having to buy a license for it. was that, up to make him is me. When I left it with him he wanted a lot of money to fix it. I said keep I come back after Christmas and buy one that was good, and then he called and said he fixed and all I had to pay was $ 80. what I'm doing. I would have waited if I was sure that it was worth putting more than $ in there.

    original title: what to do.

Janice that depends on many variables.

If your machine had XP on it when you got it, you should have a sticker on the bottom.  That contains the license (serial) for everything that was on the computer when you bought it.

Your type of computer should have put the exact same OS and the version on the computer when it was repaired.  If it didn't you can buy a license isn't in your best interest to know.
