RX100 battery charge indicator

New battery for camera (RX100) charge indicator light does not illuminate. I don't think that the battery is charging.

Does anyone else have this problem.

Please, check the following:

  1. Check if the battery is properly inserted in the device.
  2. Verify that the AC adapter and USB cable is correctly plugged into their respective ports.
  3. Check to see if the charging light is illuminating. The charge indicator turns orange if it is supported; If the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator does not illuminate.
  4. Try to turn on the camera.
  5. If the camera does not light, try to reload the camera using a USB port on your computer. If so, there may be a problem with the power adapter supplied.
  6. Try again with another USB charge cable. A similar cable is used by other devices (e.g. smartphones) if the cost of the camera, there may be a problem with the supplied USB cable.
  7. If possible, try another battery. If the second battery charge, then it may be a problem with the supplied battery.

My 7 renovated itself stream upgrade with Windows 10 success and (thanks to the assistance of others in this community), I updated some drivers and resolved a problem with a screen 'reversed '. There is a significant problem however sound persist and it is that the Windows 10 battery State of Charge indicator does not seem to be reliable.

For example, I plugged the (from the box with the Tablet), charger and cable in when tablets charge has been showing that 80% and at first the icon has changed to show a plug is attached to the battery, but the expression to the right of the battery said it wasn't loading. Then I unplugged the charger and re plugged in there, that changed things to as they should be, but after a while, the prosecution has built up to 98% and 99% where it remained for some time saying there was 2 hours and 6 minutes until this that fully charged - really? It takes 2 hours and 6 minutes to charge this battery its final 1%?

Anyone know what is happening here? I unplugged the charger at this stage, as I had finished it with the Tablet and I stopped it from within Windows. I was worried about possible damage to the battery of overload it.

Yes, I have installed the NVA HP Support Assistant 8.0.29.6 on my 7 stream but a couple of days, that it has not detected any drivers that are in need of an update. My data flow model is 5701ng and offers for this model may have differed from just the 5701 (especially in regards to Windows 10 where only the driver Support Assistant and Accellerometer has been offered at that time here). I see now that all the drivers are available for both models.

Therefore, I took a bet a couple of days and installed all the other drivers Windows 8.1 with no difference to this problem. This morning I checked the version of BIOS on this tablet to find it as F06. The most recent version being F0E I've updated the BIOS and THIS seems to have fixed things--or the less made things much better in this regard. This time, when he got 99% of fees, 10 Windows said there was about 6 minutes of charge left go - much more accurate than more than 2 hours! I now view THIS issue to be closed thanks to the update of the BIOS. Thanks for the 'index' it would have been just a few hours after I made the upgrade.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones battery charge indicator - torch

Hi, is there an indicator that shows when the torch is in charge and full charge.

    Thank you

The only indicator is the small battery on the top icon on the left.  When loading, it will show a lightning bolt through it and the charge level will be Visual, that is to say very little, half, three quarters, etc.

You can also download free apps in AppWorld that will show you exactly how the battery is either 42%, 98%, etc..

  • Second battery charge no more than 29% on Portege R200

    Hello

I borrowed today from a friend (who has a Portege R100) its extra battery pack, model PA3155U-1BRL. Unfortunately, when I put it on my R200, it started to load, but stopped at 29% and does not load above this percentage. I also have another identical extra battery pack which I bought with my laptop and it loads and works very well, so it's not a computer problem for sure.

I also tried to remove the battery main the Portege and do work only with the pack extra battery (faulty), but without success. Yet once again, the same problem occurred. 2nd battery charge indicator LED turns on for a minute or two and then turns off and the battery stops in charge, as I can also see the power management in windows, where the battery is shown as "On Line" when the laptop is plugged into the charger a/c and "Évacuation" when the laptop runs on the battery alone. In all cases, the battery is over 29%.

Given that Li - ion batteries don't suffer no "memory effect", you have an idea of what is happening and how can I deal with it?

    Thank you much in advance.

    Hello

Looks like a malfunction of the battery to the battery performance and life is limited
After abut 500 times charge and discharge procedures the battery will discharge slowly performance.

I think that you should simply replace the battery with a new and check if it helps to solve your problem!

  • Help with Apple battery charger?

Because of my Apple Magic mouse, which need spare batteries, at least once every 25 days and my Belkin YourType keyboard requiring spare batteries every day, I bought the Apple Best Buy battery charger as it offers is more the Apple store online. How will I know when the device is finished loading? Best Buy reviewers talk about a sense of light orange blinking battery is defective. I can't say when the charger is finished loading. No it fires? He flashes? It emits beep? Best shopping site only mentions that it reduces the amount of energy it draws when it finishes loading. I want to know when it is finished loading. Everyone go through Duracell batteries in their Magic Mouse in less than 25 days?

    Hello Rebekah

I used a charger Apple in recent years.   Plugged in to the mains and batteries, the charger will immediately return orrange and will stay like that until the batteries are completely charged.   At this time there the little light turns green and the battery themselvesz will feel warm to the touch.   When they are charged fees to be held for a few weeks, is slowly diminishing.   As the batteries cool, the light turns off, but the batteries themselves will remain loaded.   Use a battery as a final control power indicator.

If you don't get an orange at first, chances are your batteries are not long enough to complete the + and - sign.   Real Duracell rarely have this problem.   Evade about to see if it makes a difference, but don't be tempted to use aluminum foil packing to compensate for the length; test another battery.

  • HP 10 G2: Do not get the battery charge icon

Just got a new Tablet 10 2 HP and tried to charge the battery for the first time. Online user manual deduces that the Tablet is not on to load. So, I'm not turn it on. The USB cable is connected with the Tablet off the coast.

According to the user manual, when I plug in the USB cable I should get a small icon of recharge of the batteries in the upper right corner of the screen, but I did not. The screen remained black for nearly 30 seconds, and then a large battery icon displayed in the middle of the screen, indicating approximately 56% of the fees. This large battery icon remained on the screen for about 10 seconds and then the screen went black again. After a little experimentation, I discovered that I can get the large battery icon to display on the screen momentarily by briefly pressing the power button. When I type the swtich the large battery icon appears for about 10 seconds and it shows the current percentage of charge.

It would be nice to get the small charging of the battery icon in the upper corner of the screen just to know that the Tablet is load... rather than having to hit the button on / off whenever I want to update load. Is it possible to get the low battery charge icon or is that determined by the version of Lollipop? My Tablet uses Lollipop 5.0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

  • X120e Battery Charge problem

    Hello

I bought my x120e about a month ago and it's been great since, but recently I had problems with the battery. When I charge the battery to 100% and then unplug the power adapter, the battery is fine for an hour or two, and load will decrease to a normal and regular rhythm (indicated by the percentage). However, when the battery is at 75-80%, then he jumps abruptly up to 10%, and I get a message that I have to charge the cell phone or turn it off. When I connect and start loading again, the battery charges at a normal speed of about 10 to 40%, but the same thing happens and it jumps up to 100%, saying it is fully charged. Generally, I would be happy with such a fast charge, but in this case the battery is not really full as soon, he dies suddenly after that I have unplug the adapter. Even if I let it continue loading at 100%, the same thing happens.

So, I was wondering if I could do something to fix this on my own, or if I should send it just come back on the one year warranty. Please tell me if I did not know by describing the problem and thanks for any help/suggestions!

I just wanted to post an update. I thought that my explanation of my problem of battery gave a negative perception of the ThinkPad x120e and lenovo in general, but I called the customer service of lenovo today and after 15 minutes, the representative has verified the problem (battery was indeed defective) and sent a new battery in my house. Overall, I am very satisfied, and I think that this problem of battery was only an isolated case. The battery is supposed to come in 2 days!

  • Sansa Fuze battery: percentage indicated

Hi all - I've noticed recently that the percentage of battery remaining indicated on my Sansa rockets - I have a 2 and a 8 GB - differs the battery percentage remaining indicated through my computer when the device is plugged into the USB port on my PC.

    E. g.: verification of my view of "System Settings > Info" on the "rocket", I see 27% duration of remaining battery life.  I immediately connect the "rocket" in a USB port (my computer has two; either one).  The 'Properties' indicator for the rocket of remaining battery life is 63%.

It's constant and reproducible.  There is always a HUGE disparity between the percentage that appears on the "rocket" itself and the percentage indicated via USB/PC connection.  Note that the rockets still indicate a much lower figure.

No idea why this is happening?  Thank you very much in advance for any answer!

    Cyndi wrote:

I run them down.  As I said, I charge them when I see they are about 20%.  As JK98, mentioned in the "Fuze Battery Life and good practical battery" thread here: "the battery prefers a partial rather than complete discharge. Frequent full discharges should be avoided when possible. »

If you are let off at 20%, which is almost fully discharged. Circuit of the rocket will turn off right around that level to prevent permanent damage to the battery or the charging circuit. Let down this low once in a while is OK, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. Better to load when it comes down to 50% or more. These types of batteries prefer to be crowned often, rather than the older style batteries that worked when deep-cycled.

    Hi big95n011037,

Not likely to contain a virus, most likely an error BIOS or driver. Consult the manufacturer of the system for
updated BIOS, drivers from the chipset of low level and other corrections possible. Check with their forums.

Check the other thread you have responded to for more information on battery problems.

  • Firefox is using excessive via "Background App Refresh" battery charge - Although setting being decommissioned.

I have background App refresh disabled - the scale of the system. However, the Firefox application has managed to get a huge 8.6 hours of substantive activity App Refresh... and eat an important piece of my battery charge in the process. He has used more battery than the Safari app, even if I used just the Firefox App Firefox does NOT respect (and iOS is obviously not properly apply) the updating of the background App setting.

The Firefox application won a quick deletion of my iPhone. I can give him a second chance in the future, when Apple and Mozilla had the chance to solve this fundamental problem App update.

Attached are two screenshots. The first is my screen background App update, which shows that I have background App refresh disabled in its entirety and the second, my main screen of the battery, which shows the excessive amount of the battery used by "Background App refresh." Firefox is a flagrant violation in the Protocol of the battery by the Firefox app... and unfortunately, iOS has allowed it to happen.

I am very pleased to announce that the issue of excessive background use I had experienced with a previous version of Firefox for iOS is part of Firefox version 1.2! I now use the normal battery with little or no background activity. I am very pleased and I intend to continue to use Firefox on iOS regularly.

  • MS A30 - battery charging when I plug in the power cable

    Hello

I'm having some problems with (I think) on my A30 power management utility. When I am running on battery power and I plug in the power cable, the battery continues to discharge even if the laptop 'knows' that it runs on the power grid (ie the utility says "current generator: alternating current.") "Online, discharges: 82%. Strangely, if I put the laptop in mode 'sleep', then resume, she goes back to normal (i.e. working on current alternative, the battery charges).

It is true, I think that this began after I installed "PC Pitstop optimize Scan" www.pcpitstop.com (please, not conferences - I used a couple of their public services before and they were very good, so I thought it would be too much), so I guess it's some sort of configuration problem, but I have no idea where to go from here. I went through all the options on the power management utility, but they all look sensitive. Any ideas (other than do not install software stupid, doubtful)?

    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

I experienced this behavior on my A30 where the system says it works on current alternative, but still drains the battery and stops eventually.

In my case the problem has proved to be a loose DC Jack that sometimes cuts off contact with the socket on the back of the laptop. This momentary loss of power DC seems to provoke the power management utility switch to battery power, even though the DC power is restored. The only way out of this situation is to Hibernate / restarting the laptop.

I think that it is a problem with the power supply subsystem in the laptop that does not react properly when it encounters a momentary loss of DC. Then the Toshiba power management utility is no longer responds correctly and switches to the battery power.

My only solution to this was to anchor the DC cable to the back of my A30 so that there is now no chance of the plug DC moving in its socket. This has proved to be very effective for my A30 and I've had no recurrence of the problem.

  • Changing the setting of 80% to 100% on the Satellite Z30-A-104 battery charging

    Hello

I used my Z30 Satellite primarily as a desktop till now (the charger is still plugged).
One day I got a popup option to increase the life of the battery (charge only up to 80%) and I accepted the option.

But now, I'll be traveling and can't reset this option.

I want to charge the battery to 100% and be able to take advantage of longer battery life.
    How is that possible? Help!

    Hello

I think that you have changed this setting in battery Toshiba Manager c++.
    You must disable Mode "Eco-responsible".

There's NO other way. If the battery is placed in the laptop and you use the AC adapter as well as the battery will be charged.
You must always remove the battery if you work with the main power supply, because the procedure of permanent load is not good for the duration of battery life
