Sansa c250 & 8 GB micro card

I have a sansa c250 and left with a 1 GB micro SD card, then went to a 2 Gig card. Then I got a 4 GB card and it worked fine. Now, I bought a card of 8 GB and charge at halfway and went to bed and the next day it did no more songs to load. I looked in the drive to see what version I have and he said "v03.01.14a". I need a solution so I can get the full use of the card. Please offer any useful suggestions you can. Thanks to you all.

You try flashing your drive for later? My C250 runs 03.02.05A and he runnins g 8 cards very well. can try reformatting the card in windows or the drive.

  • Can the files be loaded on Micro-SD Audio cards and then played on Sansa c250 player?

I understand I can load audio files on a Micro-SD card, then insert this card into my Sansa c250 and play the files (without ever attaching the drive to computer cord)?   If true, this seems a better and faster approach for me.

    Yes you can do it.

  • Sansa C250 v2 (01.01.05P). microSDHC? update to the latest firmware? Linux questions.

    People of greetings,

just got my refurbished Sansa C250 2 GB. Back to v2. Parameters a 01.01.05P for the version number.

I read somewhere on these forums that even if v2's back, it does not mean necessarily that the player is actually v2. Is this true? How can I tell what version it is?

So should I upgrade to the latest firmware and which?

I plan to buy either a 4 or 8 GB card microSDHC. Advice please.

Anyone who has used linux to update firmware and for all other operations or would I have to use windows?

    Thank you

    Prasad

Well, since nobody answered my questions, I will answer them myself.

As has been said on this forum and others (http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24680), this is the version of the firmware that you use to know the version of your player. Mine is v1. I think another, or should I say a sure way would try to penetrate into the first partition (or the partition to install the firmware) - If your drive is v1, it would be to put your player mode waiting (moved to the rec and orange shows on the left button) press and hold the rec button and plug it into a computer should appear the partition of 16 MB. V2 has a different key sequence.

Since it is highly recommended to upgrade to the latest firmware, I upgraded to 01.01.00P which, by version number appears a downgrade, but it is what is here to... He did bring back the USB menu however.

Since then, I could install Rockbox (http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=c200&thread.id=3396), I'll go ahead and buy a 8 GB microSDHC card. Will post here when I get it to let you know if it worked or not. I think that should be. This post helped me decide to go ahead and buy it: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35302.

I used two Fedora-7 and live CD Fedora-9 (on USB) - no problem.

just something I did - I took a return of my entire 2 GB (after formatting the partition of 2 GB to get rid pictures and music that came on the player). used dd if = / dev/sdc. gzip - c > sansaC250. Also saved the first (16 MB) partition dd if = / dev/sdc1. gzip - c > sansaC250part1. I just thought I might be able to use it if I bricked my drive when rockboxing it. I don't know if restore partitions (or the entire disk) is unbrick it at all. Happy had to use it.

  • Sansa e250 2 GB limit card memory?

Is the limit of the size of the memory of card Sansa e250 really 2 GB or someone was able to recognize up to 8 GB or maybe even 16 GB with some brands of SD Micro cards?

Depends on whether it is a v1 or v2 model.

V1 is limited to 2GB (SD) unless you install the 3 rd-party firmware, alternative called Rockbox.

V2 will handle the SDHC (up to 32GB) native format.

  • Alcor Micro Card Reader

When I tried to download pictures from my camera card reader memory chip does not recognize the memory chip. HP has a update driver for the card reader Alcor Micro, but it would not be installed. My computer is a HP Pavilion p6-2378, Win. 8.1, 64-bit, the Alcor Micro Card Reader Driver is for a 32 bit, so I was wondering if there was a way I could get a more recent program of Alcor Micro Card Reader because when I went to the Alcor society, they said that they only sold to companies like HP who built the computers. I was told by one of the technicians of HP to reinstall the Alcor Micro Card Reader since the recovery disks, but if the Alcor Micro Card Reader would not install new drivers why I would bother to reinstall. He don' your sense no. Is there any help out there?

Thank you for the additional information.

Have you tried to install the 64-bit driver for the card reader I have provided in my link above (64-bit driver)?

  • Micro card

I bought a 32 GB micro card for my Tablet Iconia One 7 of girls. I inserted, I guess well, but when she attempts to add apps he always says not enough memory. She has even removed a bunch of other apps and photos and always gets the same response. I'm not a technical person but I just assumed that as soon as I put the card in it would leave him to add more apps.

No, the SD card allows to organize the data of the user as music, videos and photos, but applications that must all be on the primary storage. Google has changed that with a 4.4 version and it has been with us since then. If she had a lot of data such as pictures and music, it should be check to make sure that they are moved to the SD card and not sitting on either the internal memory or worse only at a time.

  • Problem of micro card SD of Sansa e250

I have a sansa e250 its works perfectly, but the problem is

on the micro SD. I have sandis micro SD 2 GB card and I want that it

to use with my sansa e250 but when I insert the micro SD card

and connect it to my computer sound empty, no micro SD card.

my PC can not read the micro SD it is drive: j and reader: k

but the reader: k says pls insert a floppy in the drive: k, but I fit

the micro SD card.pls help me!

    firmware version is 1.02.15A

    Edit: I update my sansae250 to version1.02.24

and then I try to reuse my micro SD card

and its does not work. What should I do with my sansa?

I want to use the micro SD card because its only 2 GB.

With your v1 player (as indicated by your firmware version) you can only use MSC mode when it connects to your computer in order to access (add or remove) songs on the map. MTP mode will not work. Period.

As c1u31355 suggested, make sure that the card is placed properly into the slot on the side of the player. The lttle Ridge or bump in the middle of the edge on the map will be little difficult to get through the first few times you push the card. Then it wear out a bit on the edge and slide smoothly.

Push it all the way, even slightly beyond the opening until you hear a slight click. He's going (to spring) very slightly here where the top edge of the card is more or less equal or slightly superior to that of the housing of the drive. You will hear a 2nd click. Pressing in there again until it clicks (you should probably use a nail) again, it will release and spring will push out so you can catch it.

Moreover, just for precision, the card will in the drive upside down (with the bump on top).

    -------------------

c1u offers a card reader to see if you have a bad card, or if the problem is with your player. If you put the card in the card reader, and you can transfer (drag & drop) of music files, your card is OK, and you might have a problem with the drive.

Just so you know, you can not 'sync' music to the card if it's how you normally do. This would require the MTP mode which will not work. You have to do drag & drop from the computer to the card. It's the only way. Well, actually you can rip directly to the card, but that's another topic.

The player is the Zip Clip. I have not yet tried in my Clip +.

  • Sansa freezes when the memory card is inserted

I have a 8 GB sansa, the other day I bought a 32 GB Micro SD card but my rocket freezes when I put the memory card if it is already turned on. If it is off, I put the card & turn it on, I can't go past the screen of welcome without it freezing. Any suggestions?

Where did you got the MicroSD card to? If it is on ebay, you are sure that it is really a 32 GB card? How much did you pay for this? If you have paid for a really cheap price, almost-too-good-to-be-true, then you probably have a fake. Many people have been scammed lately because of this.

Too good-to-be-true is nothing less than $80 (like around $40). I paid $40 for my 16 gb, so if you find a 32 GB for this amount, it is definitely a scam.

  • Size MAX Sansa Fuze 2 GB Memory card?

In a post, ask questions on the Maximum size of memory card that the Sansa Fuze can manage the response has been

"32 GB cards works perfectly. 32 GB micro SDHC cards are not available yet. »

In 2008, it was this changed with firmware updates?

It's for the v1 and v2 or only v2? If a single v2, then what is the MAX for v1?

also what is the difference between v1 and v2, this isn't the memory card SD card Maximum size it can handle?

Whatever internal memory capacity, all rockets (v1s and v2s) work with cards up to 32 GB.

    A Micro size.

Just messin '... The largest size is now 32 GB and it works perfectly in the Clip +.

-It loads slowly out of the map is the largest?

The extent of the game? N ° but the updating of the database which occurs after you disconnect the computer grows accordingly as the map fills with more files.

-Once I have pluged use Windows Explorer to copy MP3 Clip +. The microSD card will still work as copy to internal memory?

Well Yes. Don't forget, if using MSC mode it will be 2 separate and marked disks separately, as F: and G:. The Clip will be 1 +; the 2nd will be card. This occurs if a card is inserted or not.

  • 4GB micro card does not work with my PC

I just went out and I bought a 4 GB micro SDHC for my phone, and I want to put a bunch of music on it from my PC. but my PC does not read the card, and whenever I try to ring its menu, my computer crashes. Can someone help me please?

Just get another card reader. They are quite in-expensive. Make sure it specifies that it is SDHC in line.
