• Satellite is not printer - USB hubs all permits

  I have a friend with a laptop satellite, and she tries to make him talk on his printer. The computer sees the printer, but apparently he is not talking. We checked all USB root hubs and show all activated.

  In addition, she's trying to network with another computer via USB. Yet once, nothing happens.

  You said that the laptop has recognized correctly the installed printer.
  Well, in your case I would recommend checking the settings of the printer if the preferred printer was selected as the default printer.

  Usually, you will find these settings in Control Panel-> printer settings.

  I have a satellite, it is around the age of 18 months. I used it fine a couple of days, when I tried to turn on today absolutely nothing happened!

  The power light is on when it is connected to the network, but when I press the power button that does nothing, no fans or hard drive sounds, its just dead! Any ideas?

  That s certainly a hardware problem and in my eyes you cannot fix yourself. Don t waste a time one ask a technician for notebook check it's absolutely necessary to know what s wrong.

• Satellite U920t: Win update - impossible to restart even when power off / on

  I have a U920t satellite.

  When I turned on this morning, Windows displays a message "keep your PC until this." Installing up-to-date I have 5... ».

  Have you tried to press and hold the button of power lasts 4 seconds?
  Usually, this should stop the process of loop.

  Also try this:
  Switch on and press F12. Now you should see a start menu where you could choose some devices. Last option should be HARD drive recovery.

  It would be the worst case, because the new motherboard is really expensive: about 300

• Need to Smartphones blackBerry help-apps does not connect to the internet, even with UMA

  Yesterday for a strange reason my app fmylife, even my aim and msn messenger does not connect to the internet. The blackberry browser connects either, only opera mini-tout this time I am connected to my wifi at home and I UMA. Calls and texting works fine. I tried several times to switch off the connection and then turn it back on, I restarted the phone, I took out the battery but nada.

  Unfortunately, there are some unresolved bugs related to "limit of the file size. Normal behavior should be that copyright is exported, even if 'Minimize Metadata' is checked. As far as I can see, if 'Limit of the file size' is used, some EXIF metadata are exported, but no IPTC data (i.e. keywords).

There was no place where to connect my internet wire so I went out and bought a usb wireless adapter and updated my computer to Windows XP Home Edition. I put the CD and went through the Hardware Wizard. I said to her work and connected to the internet on the adapter set up the screen. BUT I can't access the internet.   Power cable is connected, start the start, and just at the point where desktop should appear, the system restarts.

  One day I was restore the laptop at the same time when I plug it.
  All of a sudden after all I have insert restore CD in my drive and it wan't recognize my CD drive.
  Nothing shows in post working either in BIOS.

  I already removed the filter upstream and downstream in the registry and still nothing.
  The CD player will not even try to start when I restart the laptop. How do I make it work?

  Friend of me has had the same problem and it could solve the problem by deleting this file:
  "C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\R oaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst".

  This file has something to do with the PNRP service and after deletion it will be re-created. Generally, this service should work correctly after deleting this file.
