I am looking to increase the processing power of my T110-107, and I was wondering if it could take a different processor, and what are the processors should be?

    Hello

As far as I know the laptop is equipped with Chipset Mobile Intel GS40
The new processor must be supported by the chipset.
AFAIK that is supported by the chipset
    Intel® Core 2 Duo ULV CPU SU2700 1.30 GHz CPU (956 P) 743 1.3 G and processor Intel Celeron ULV 763 (1.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache)
But the fact is that no one knows if the new processor would be stable within the BIOS
So there is still a small part of the risks related to this theme,

  • Satellite T110-107: touchpad problem - pointer move sometimes

    Good afternoon everyone,

Currently I have a series of Satellite T110-107 and have problems with the touchpad.

I start the computer and the touchpad works very well for a few seconds, after that, the touch pad stops working to full capacity.
If I wander my fingers on the touchpad and the pointer does not move, sometimes it will move up and down, but not as it should.

It is a common problem, or is it a hardware problem... or is it the fact that I'm just not accustomed to having the correct settings on windows7?

All help reveal be great, because it's very frustrating!

    Kind regards!

    Hello

I found a few tips and tricks that you should try.

First, you must change the sensitive touchpad settings to lower the level.
Go to control panel-> mouse and all the settings for the touchpad to the value has a less sensitive level.

You should also right click Synaptics Pointing Device (in the taskbar) and get in the middle of the page Double click speed on.
Move the slider to half way down the beach. This should help you too.

Last but not leas, you will need to disable zoom pinch.
Go to the icon in the lower right corner Synaptics pointing device, click on 'The pointing device properties', click on the "Device settings" tab, then the settings button. Uncheck "Enable Pinch Zoom" under "Pinch Zoom".

  • Satellite T110-107 restore win7 after replacing hard drive

I am now out of UK to work, won't be back in a few years

I had problems with my hardrive to the satellite T110-107 and unable to start my laptop
So I went to the local repair center of Toshiba and replaced my hardrive
The problem is now I have no operating system in my new hardrive

I am able to restore my previous pre-installed system?
pls pls pls someone tell me?

    Thank you so much!

    Hello

Of course, you can install / recover the computer laptop back to factory settings.
To do this, you will need the drive recovery Toshiba for this device.
This disc can be ordered here:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

But the Satellite T110 does not seem to be equipped with an internal optical drive.
So, you will need to connect an external USB ODD in order to be able to recover this unit.

You will buy this external USB CD/DVD drive or you would borrow such a device someone

  • Satellite T110-107 - Touchpad does not properly

I love my Satellite T110-107, but there are problems with the touchpad.

    (1) the mouse cursor does not move sometimes. With this one, I get to move taking both hands away from the laptop for a while.
    (2) the cursor of the mouse all of a sudden 'draws' of the right hand of the screen.

I tried to change the sensitivity of the touchpad to the minimum and maximum levels, I adjusted the sensitivity 'Palm', but nothing seems to help other than by the low sensitivity that helps a little.

I also noticed that when the laptop is on my lap, the problem is worse than if it's on a table.

I think it's a problem with an accumulation of static electricity on the case.

    Other ideas?

    Hey Buddy,

I use the Satellite T110 for months now and really and no problem. Everything is great and I don t have problems. It the laptop really great s!

There must be something wrong with your installation.
First of all, I would recommend updating the driver from the touchpad. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

After that you should test again. Also check the settings of the touchpad again. There are a large number of settings to improve the touchpad.

  • WLan disconnects when Satellite T110-107 of router

    I ve a Satellite T110-107 * with windows 7/64-bit

Linking the T110 in my home network wireless works perfectly near the router.
When I move away from it drops wireless.

Previously, he worked far away from the router.
I tested with other machines and the wireless still works well on them... I've already updated the driver, but the problem persists.

    What can I do more?

    Thank you

    > Before, it worked far away from the router.

What have you changed in the past?
Maybe something in the settings of the WLan router?

What about the Wan channel option (1-12) that can be set in the settings of the Wlan router?
I recommend you to check different channels.

In addition you should go to power options Windows and need to disable for the WLan in advanced energy saving power settings

  • Motherboard and processor upgrades

Is there anyway I can find out what motherboard and processor will be compatible with my laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-1FK and be an upgrade of the original equipment fitted. Toshiba has tried, but they don't want to know. I have the details of the specification for the processor and the motherboard and am looking for advice on where to find the technical information that will tell me what is happening with that without it breaking. Of the spec. sheet I have the motherboard was made by Toshiba and gives the chipset model and relevant details. The processor is an Intel Celeron 585 and once again have all the details of the spec... Have doubled from two to four memory and changed the hard drive for an SSD that has made a big difference in the speeding things up. If I can get just a better motherboard and processor so I'm home and dry. Can anyone help please?

You should contact Toshiba for this information.  Laptops do not have motherboards standards or processors, so you can't just buy one and put in it, it must be specially designed for your laptop.

  • Satellite T110 - 107 WLAN keeps turned on?

    Hello

    I have a T110-107.
For security reasons, I turn only the RLR on when I demand it.

The problem is that sometimes 'something' fires, sometimes when I boot and sometimes while I use it.
I use the keys "FN" and "F8" to enable and disable the My WLAN so there is no possibility that I can do it inadvertently.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Sometimes, something is WLan?
Strange I know, you can disable the WiFi network using the FN + F8 key combination.
Do not forget that you have disabled this using these buttons and make sure that you n t activate the WLan accidentally on these keys.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite T110-107 - Touchpad / mouse problem

Just had delivery of a new Tosh T110-107, I have to say is beautiful, however a problem. A startup the touchpad works ok, but as soon as I plug the mouse USB may not work - what makes the system unusable until I disconnects me restart and the mouse. So what have I so done for her?

Uninstalled McAfee and Norton 360 addded and office (two originals) and that's the problem were found until everything has been done - as he came out of the box.

Win7 Home Premium, never had any problems with Win7, but then not used on a particular laptop model. Can only imagine its software/config but straight out of the box? Tosh must know there is a problem-they have too, but sold it?

Does anyone else have this problem?

Answer to Ah my own question, mouse at fault, as soon as the wheel is moved all the works, but we must constantly move or it don't work. It turns out that the mouse was not part of the package, so apologies to Toshiba, but then, that's why I had to buy this machine of large model - deemed manufacturer - if and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about buying one.

  • Satellite T110-107 - Reboot does not work properly

When the power button is pushed to the power and wireless lights, fan whirs a minute then nothing more happens. If I remove the battery and leave it for 30 minutes then it starts fine when you push the power button. Currently abroad, but have access to the internet.

    Running Windows 7.

    Suggestions welcome!

    Hey Buddy,

Since when did you notice this problem and have changed something on the hardware configuration?

It is difficult to say why it happens but it must be a hardware problem, you still have it installed the newer version of the BIOS for Satellite T110? You can download it from the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But before you start the update, close all running programs (also AntiVirus and firewall).

  • Re: Satellite 2430 402: the processor upgrade possible?

    Hello world

    I have a Satellite 2430 402 with P4 2.53 GHz.
Is it possible to change the processor of a more recent/fast (up to 3.4 GHz)?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Maybe an other old Intel P4 CPU would work, but you will not be able to upgrade and use newer processors.
Furthermore a stronger CPU would create more heat dissipation and this would lead to a temperature more high which could affect the functionality of the laptop.

So even if a new CPU would be recognized correctly by the BIOS, it might affect the functionality of the laptop.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A100-811 T5600 processor upgrade > T7600

    Hello world!

I have old Toshiba Satellite A100-811 (motherboard: Capell Valley (NAPA) CRB based on Intel 945 GM Express chipset, BIOS: Phoenix 6.00 upgrade) and I would like to replace processor for latest. My current CPU is Core 2 Duo T5600 @1. 83 GHz, Socket 479mPGA. I would like to install the Core 2 Duo T7600 @ 2.33 GHz. According to the website of Intel, are compatible with 945 GM and socket 479mPGA T7600 SL9SJ/PBGA479.

    link to the specifications: http://ark.intel.com/products/27257/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-T7600-4M-Cache-2_33-GHz-667-MHz-FSB

I like to make sure if T7600 SL9SJ/PBGA479 will cooperate with this laptop.

It would be a great help if you could give me some advice and confirm if it will be good choice :-)

    Mariusz

No one will be able to tell if this new CPU would work correctly with this laptop because upgrades processors are not supported by one of the manufacturers of mobile phones.

But from my own experience, updates are possible, sometimes.
If the chipset would be compatible with the new processor, you've got a good chance to get it running.
But I m not very good on the BIOS is supported, but usually, it shouldn't be a problem.

  • Satellite A200 - 23Q - issue processor upgrade

Hello, I am from Greece, and I'm new here, I know im newbe...

    I have toshiba Satellite A200 - 23q (motherboard: intel gm965, cpu: t5550 (1, 8 GHz))...

    Currently, I bought Intel T7500 (2, 2 GHz)...
Can I upgrade this laptop with this processor? What can the BIOS I've updated to?

    Sorry for my language faults...

    Thank you...

    Hello

Generally, the upgrade of the CPU is not advisable.
Firstly the BIOS that has been developed for this device has not been tested with different processors, and in the worst case the BIOS won't be compatible with the new processor.

    The Chipset must support this CPU;
    http://www.Intel.com/assets/PDF/datasheet/316273.PDF

    Chapter 1.1.1 processor support:
The chipset supports processors Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile 533 Mhz and 800 Mhz FSB support.

Processor Intel® Core 2 Duo T7500 supports 800 MHz FSB, so it should be supprted by the chipset.

    But once again; There are other reasons why upgrading the CPU doesn't have to be done;
The BIOS is one of the reasons.
The second reason is the higher heat dissipation which would be created by CPU more strong that could affect the functionality of the laptop as well.

  • Satellite P300-19 q - processor upgrade

Running the stock P8400, probs am will update soon, I know that the natural way is probs the P9700 but [here | http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Intel _ (chipsets) PM45_Express.html] a T9900 and X 9100 as well compatible upgrades and 1-2 Quad-core processors, but they run to tensions over high, any1 know if this laptop has cooled enough for these processors?
Any1 has updated to one of them?

I have BIOS problems? I'll FRY my motherboard?

    Cristo

    Hey,.

Update CPU is not supported Toshiba so everything happens on your own risk. I guess no one has tested these CPUs P300 so hearts it risky s upgrade in my opinion and I don't it. I doubt that the cooling system, the motherboard and BIOS is also designed for these hearts high performance processors

Do you really need a quad core? Intel P8400 is still quite fast CPU and should enough for all applications. :)
