Satellite U300 - blue screen

My 10 days as old Satellite U300 - 14 d knows the blue screen problem frequently. I noticed that attaching a file from my office to my email exchange server to blue screen triggers.

The blue screen gives various complaints: once his RTL86.sys and then again, it's the Touch pad driver, but every mistake there is always the top message IRQL_Not_LESS_OR_EQUAL 'Something like that' what I can do.

Should I downgrade to XP or it's a hardware problem?
Help, please. I use it for work and it is a big liability it crashing all have the time this way.

Well, what to say. It of very strange that the different drivers and system files cause this error message.
To me, it looks like a software problem but I m not 100% sure. It s only my own personal suggestion

Thus, it would be very interesting to know if the same error running Win XP!
In this case we could know if it s a Vista issue or a hardware issue

If on the initial screen he quickly presses a button brings you to the screen of welcome for a very short period and then go to the bluescreen as above.

Anyone got any ideas how to sort?
    Thanks in advance

I don't know what the problem is and why this happens but if possible recovering your laptop and set it back to factory settings. Please test once more and send feedback.

It can be assumed that the problem may be, but the best test you can do is to put the laptop to factory settings again. Recovery image has been tested and if there is not some hardware problem everything should work properly again.

    Hello

I have a huge problem with my laptop Toshiba Satellite L-300. Whenever I have load it I get a blue screen and the "technical information" STOP: 0 x 00008086.

I saw answers to this when it is suggested that you go in safe mode and then follow the steps from there, but when I press F8 I get a loud beep and the computer carries its load before coming with the same blue screen.

I am able to enter the configuration utility (F2) and the Boot Manager (F12), but that's all.

In this case, it seems hardware problem.
BSOD can be a product of memory problems. Try to delete a memory modules and test the laptop with a module in each slot. The two test modules.

  • Satellite U300 - white screen after reboot

I have a 3 yo Satellite U300 (with Vista), which was usually in good working order until this morning. It froze a little bit when I had iTunes open so I restarted. He now has a completely blank screen.

I tried to stop and restart several times, I tried to plug it into an external monitor and have tried to remove the battery and drain the power I had read recommended on another forum.

It also seems to be from running as it should (turns on, fan is on, etc) but I can't get anything on the screen.

    Any ideas?

    Hey,.

If you can t get an image on the external display, it appears to be a malfunction of the motherboard, CPU, RAM or anything, but the internal screen should be ok

Hmm. In your case, I had read this article, maybe it helps:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=21

In the worst cases, you need professional help of an authorized service provider. Guys can check your laptop and repair because they have access to the databases of Toshiba and order new parts.

    Good luck! :)

    Hello

    BSOD is always a painful question because it may be related to different reasons;
It may be a hardware problem, but it can also be a serious software problem.
So it's not easy to tell what exactly causes this

I got a BSOD in the past, because my RAM was faulty.
I have replaced and since it s ok.

Friend of mine had a BSOD problem too. It was caused by the graphics driver.
Updating the graphics card driver helped.

The high temperature may be one more reason to check if the temperature is not too high.

The new installation of the OS might be an option too, but it's your own decision

    Hello

BSOD (blue screen of death) is primarily a result of software or hardware problems.
It could be a software compatibility issue or just one of the hardware components (RAM, motherboard) could be faulty.

I found some info on the BSOD * BCCode: 3B *.

    + Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION +.
    + Bug SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION control has a value of 0x0000003B. +
+ Which indicates that an exception happened during execution of a routine that passes from non-preferred to the privileged code code. +

    _Cause_
+ This error has been linked to the excessive use of expanded memory and resulting from user mode graphics drivers enjambment and passing data incorrect of the kernel code. +

So, it seems that 0x3B errors are usually caused by a defective video card drivers.

Hi, laptop just out of warranty and the HARD drive was crushed, no return allowed ups recovery so don't not on the new HARD drive installation.

I installed the new HARD drive and began to install XP. Implementation of process gets to the point where windows will write the files to the HARD drive and the blue screen appears! What is a SATA driver problem?

Have tried with a copy of XP, I with the SATA drivers on it but don't know if it's a problem of controller or a specific driver from Toshiba.

Any help would be appreciated... TIA

    Hey,.

As you can read in 100 other discussions here in the forum, the problem is the SATA driver you need.
As far as I know Satellite L450D a AMD chipset, so you can find the SATA driver in the display driver package that you can download from the official website of Toshiba.

In addition, I would recommend reading the other discussions here in the forum. You can also read the son of other laptop models, it s always

iastor.sys seems belongs to the SATA/controller HARD disk controller.

However, you can try to reinstall the Storage Manager Intel because this package contains this file.

If this is not enough, try to restore the system using the recovery disc or HARD drive recovery...
