  Hi all

  I'll put up a new CSACSE-1113-k9 (acs 4.2 device).

  1st step is to perform the initial configuration by a connection serial (rs-232 port on the chassis of the device).

  I already did, but whenever I try to connect to the serial port, Setup runs allover again.

  Account admin, ip address, mask, etc., all that is there, but it keeps cycling through the same sequence of script, and I need to access the CLI to issue certain commands.

  Tips/advice appreciated please.

  It's because you keep giving Yes for the test running on the initial Setup. When you are asked to test the network connectivity you enter N for which. Hope that clarifies your query.

  This step is essentially running a ping command to ensure the connectivity of the ACS.

  g. at the prompt, enter host name or IP address:, type the IP address or the host name of the device connected to the ACS SE and then press ENTER.

  Result: If successful, the system displays the ping statistics. The system displays the command prompt: test connectivity network [Yes]:.

• Installation of UCP to CSACSE-1113

  Hello together,

  I have installation just device CSACSE-1113 and tried to find a way to install UCP, but as far I could see it the UCP software can be installed.

  I'm just looking bad or is there really no way for the installation of the UCP to the device?

  It would be the right way to install UCP to another server and direct them to the GBA unit?

  Sorry for the question, but I am quite new to GBA. But so far I have found many solutions in this forum, thank you very much.

  As far as I know, you don't have the possibility to download cisco.com ACS recovery DVDs. You can contact Cisco TAC and they can publish the software for you.

  I don't think that's going to happen, unless a new upgrade of the hardware Kit is created, look at this for comparison of system memory:

  Also a new DVD would need to be developed from ACS unit Versions are hardware specific. I suppose it is not impossible to use the same DJ, but I have not heard of any close of plans occur.

• Why is 'scalable user = no' do not prevent panning and zoom?

  I build my first html5 app and I have the following on my meta tag.

  However, I found that I can zoon and pan around the page.   I thought 'scalable user = no' was supposed to prevent this.  Any thoughts on why this is the case?   My meta tag is incorrect?

  Oooh... made on the hellogeo app that this javascript seems to work.   The static viewport metatag does not seem to do.   It seems to work by dynamically assigning the initial-scale ratio based on the report of device pixels.

  The system has been tested only with 1 K users and the maximum number of devices by the platform, go above that was not tested and since you're already underway running on limited resources, not taken in charge. If you still want to go ahead and go beyond those numbers, any performance problem, and/or any questions, will be your sole responsibility.

• Cisco ACS 1113 appliance v4.1 - integration of RSA Securid v6.1

  The Windows of Cisco ACS version seems to have the ability of integration with RSA Securid its listed in external databases. It can also support the SDI Protocol if you install the agent on the Windows ACS platform. I need to use a Cisco ACS 1113 but RSA Securid does not appear in the section external databases. This mean that I won't be able to use the SDI Protocol only available RADIUS.

  If you want to create a scalable skin - you can do using the QNX components and then go ahead and create a UISkin for him. If done you will be able to resize the button right anyway you want and it do not bend or deform.   I have a wireless currently in production infrastructure. All my Cisco LWAP is managed by Cisco WLC. Authentication is done via RADIUS through my device Cisco ACS 1113 running on version 4.2. The Cisco ACS 1113 device communicates with my Windows 2003 Active Directory. Everything is good now.

  Next month, we plan to update Active Directory from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008? Will be all fine and good, or will it be questions? Please advice kindly.

  ACS 4.2 does not work with Windows 2008R2.  I had a case of TAC open about this, and basically, they told me that I had to switch to 5.2 ACS.   I've been doing demonstrations there and it authenticates with Windows2008R2 very well.

  ACS SE doesn't send traps, but you can configure the SNMP agent and query the ACS via SNMP.

  ACS SE can control the device information, for example, process, memory, CPU usage, version of the device and the version of the ACS, the ethernet interface state software and so on:

  To perform the recovery password, that we must have for 1113 appliance recovery cd.

  If you don't have the recovery CD, I will recommend you to prosecute TAC and they will publish files from recovery for you, because it is not available on cisco.com for download.
