  Hi all

  I'll put up a new CSACSE-1113-k9 (acs 4.2 device).

  1st step is to perform the initial configuration by a connection serial (rs-232 port on the chassis of the device).

  I already did, but whenever I try to connect to the serial port, Setup runs allover again.

  Account admin, ip address, mask, etc., all that is there, but it keeps cycling through the same sequence of script, and I need to access the CLI to issue certain commands.

  It's because you keep giving Yes for the test running on the initial Setup. When you are asked to test the network connectivity you enter N for which. Hope that clarifies your query.

  I CSACSE-1113-K9 network and now I intend to upgrade this legacy.

  Currently is running on 4.2, scalable? If yes what version I can improve the legacy?

  4.2 was the final version of the ACS 4 I am aware and came out almost 3 years ago. The next step would be to migrate to 5 ACS who needs to migrate you to the SNS-3415-K9 unit.

  I don't think that's going to happen, unless a new upgrade of the hardware Kit is created, look at this for comparison of system memory:

  Also a new DVD would need to be developed from ACS unit Versions are hardware specific. I suppose it is not impossible to use the same DJ, but I have not heard of any close of plans occur.

  Now, keep in mind that the ACS 4.X to 5.X upgrade is consider a Migration complete... a lot of differences in the way you manage your customers, users, political...

  Both should run on the same version so if you upgraded ACS version then you need to upgrade the UCP version too.

  ACS SE doesn't send traps, but you can configure the SNMP agent and query the ACS via SNMP.

  ACS SE can control the device information, for example, process, memory, CPU usage, version of the device and the version of the ACS, the ethernet interface state software and so on:

• Issue of ACS UCP

  I have ACS, IIS & UCP installed on the same Windows 2003 server. UCP has been installed recently. IIS configuration was made before the installation of the UCP.

  After installation I tried to UCP accessing through the URL http://localhost/secure/login.htm

  I get the login prompt. When I enter the user name and password, I get "cannot display page" Web page. Please let me know the resolution for the same thing.

  I am looking for some assistance, we have a v4.0.1.44 running Cisco ACS 1113 SE and try to update to v.4.2.0.124 following the instructions to upgrade to v4.1.1.24 first.

  We use the following CD

  The upgrade package consists of 2 - files that is the management software and ACS software. You must first upgrade management and then continue the ACS software.

• Error during installation of Windows Server 2003

  I installed VMWare Player, however, when I went to install Windows Server 2003 (easy installation) on my windows 7 Home Edition (64-bit) as owner / administrator.

  The VMWare authorization Services do not seem to be started, but when I try to start them via the services.msc, I get the following error:

  "Windows failed to start the service on Local computer VMWare authorization Service.

  "Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly."

  I studied this error and saw a few notes on adding __vmware_user__ my users the.  But with what privileges?

  Installing on Windows 7 is sometimes delicate. Take a look at http://faq.sanbarrow.com/index.php?solution_id=1113 to verify that your installation is ok or how to fix it in case it is not.

  I have the same problem, Im running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and when I try to install vmware 7, it's just stuck in there.

  screenshot below.

  It's just stuck on the installation screen, and I try to do a right click in the window and display the script.

  I tried all methods I can think, close UAC (run as Admin, windows vista/XP compatibility), disable firewall and antivirus

  No soloution.

• Crashing apps and the slow performance since the installation of macOS Sierra
