  It's strange. I recommend that you uninstall the software completely. Reinstall the complete and updated software in place the wireless again.

  I have a Photosmart C4795 installed on two computers, one with XP, the other Vista. Installation (with the Vista computer) went well, and all tests and some documents on the XP one and myself. After a few months, he started to give me a "document not found question '. I discovered that I needed to push hard enough to get the book far enough, but not too far. Now (on the XP computer) it says its printing, extracted in the document, then sits until I get an error message on my computer. I went through all the guided solutions and none worked. The XP computer is a HP Mini 1000, and HP update doesn't change anything.

  I got to work by sending the document again, and then cancel the print job wrong on my computer, and after that it was cancelled on the computer to cancel on the printer. At the point where the paper ejected I placed it on the tray at a time an inch away where I was told in the animations.   Hi Doc, thanks for theinfo and your time and effort. After going through all new with Daniel to the HP Support, it seems that the USB port on the printer may be at fault. Who changed things to scan wireless, it wasn't a problem and everything worked. Printing from my laptop to the printer was also no problem. The laptop recognises the printer via the USB cable, but not the reverse. Daniel has once more remotely connected to my system and made all of the aforesaid goods. Looks like I'll have to either scan wirelessley or use the scan on my desktop shortcut. Prohibition to buy another printer, wireless scan shortcut it will take. • Photosmart 3210xi Printer-cannot install the new computer Win7

  I just got a new computer which has Windows 7 as operating system, previously using Win XP.  I have the original installation disc, but when I try to install my HP Photosmart 3210xi printer, it tells me that it is incompatible with my operating system.  How do I overcome this?  BTW, I can just plug in the printer and it will work, but of course I want to install it so I can use the scanner program and others.  I am not a novice, but I'm not a computer programmer that so keep that in mind!

• Photosmart HP 7520: Cannot scan to printer

  I was able to scan up to today.  Try to scan to the computer and not give me the option for the photo or document.  He gave me the option once it has scanned the PC, and I had chose PDF and it only would give me the JPG.  It scanned the Microsoft Scan program and fax, which I had never used it before.  My scans before went into the My Documents folder, which I prefer.  I can scan OK on a flash drive.  When I try the computer now, it says "without a computer.

  I tried HP printer and scanner doctor and nothing worked.

  I have seen that you are facing some problems of scanning when scanning your Photosmart 7520, your system Windows 10 and I hope to help.

  Lets first make sure you have full functionality drivers and software installed on your computer by running the HP printer install wizard for Windows, which will be to find and install your printer software for you. Just follow the instructions until it is installed.

  I would like to be able to scan documents to PDF files, but HP Scan Pro does not see my scanner. Several times, I get the error message:

  Sorry, scanner could not be initialized.
  (Scanner not found.)

  I tried all the steps suggested in your troubleshooting guide, including to repair my disk

  permissions, uninstall and reinstall the HP software via software update, but nothing helped.

  I was able to scan to jpg files via System Preferences/Print & scan/open Scanner and also analysis of the printer to a flash drive, but it would be much more convenient scan documents directly to PDF on Mac format!

  This feature is used to work when I had this printer connected to a PC.  I am now trying to run on a new Mac Mini running OSX 10.7.3 Lion. The printer is connected directly to a USB 2.0 on the Mac.

  I feel of ben with her already and it seems to work fine with this computer for printing.

  Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

  The complete functionality (including the HP scanning software) HP software is not compatible with Lion.

  The driver for your operating system available via update of the Apple software and not on the HP site.

  Be sure to remove completely any HP software installed as follows:

  * Please note that the following steps will delete all HP software installed.

  1. click on menu go (click the desktop, then watch the menu in the bar at the top of the page)
  2. Select Applications
  3 select the Hewlett-Packard folder
  4. double-click on the HP uninstaller application
  5 follow the uninstall to prompt to select a device to uninstall
  6. press and hold the keys Ctrl + Alt + Cmd on the keyboard at the same time as you click on Uninstall
  7 approve any prompt to uninstall all HP software.

  I'm trying to set up my printer HP Photosmart 6520 for the first time.

  I get the error message USELESS "Problem connecting to the server of Web Services"

  I am able to connect to the Internet using a web browser, so I don't have an ISP issue.

  I'll put in place the printer at home behind a NetGear wireless router.

  The implementation for the browser does not use a proxy, so I have no proxy information.

  Is anyone able to help.

  It seems that the network communication between the PC and the printer has become lost or locked up.  The first step, I would suggest in this case is to perform a cycle of power to all devices in the network circuit.

  Follow these steps to reset your printer HP, your router and your computer.

  1. To turn it off, press the power button on the HP printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord at the back of the HP printer.
  3. Unplug the power cord from the wireless router.
  4. Turn off the computer.
  5. Wait 30 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cable to the wireless router.
  7. Wait 30 seconds, or until the router is completely ready.
  8. Turn the computer on.
  9. Wait for the computer to recharge.
  10. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the HP printer.
  11. Turn on the printer.

  I'm so happy to hear that we were able to get the problem resolved for you.  It's great! 

  As for the small pop-up that appears when scanning, which is part of the new software and cannot be removed.  I know this can be a bit of a pain if you are not used, but it is convenient if the scan does not look right and you want to cancel it.
