• HP Designjet 800ps paper selection problems

  I loaded the drivers etc for the HP DeisgnJet 800ps.

  It feels good, but I can't access the book 'Architecture' list set sizes in the "Properties".   I click on 'architecture', but the sizes of the paper do not appear in the drop-down list.  Can someone help me solve this problem.

• Automatic selection problem Inspiron 6400 Audio input

  At the beginning, when pluging microphone or line-in for entry level jacket, the system would pop up, an input switch, asking me if it was microphone or line. He has stopped that for some time now. I have had no cause of problems, I just used the microphone, but now I want to record from a device external and it just will not work.

  I tried to select through recording Volume (Windows XP) but when I select LINE IN it just will not save anything. And if I select the Microphone, with the external audio gets saturated even with boost off (and the external device's display at the right level)

• Odd selection problem

  I have Lightroom CC on a Win10 machine and just noticed a strange problem. First of all, I couldn't apply keywords to more than one image (using the method of selecting multiple, even when selecting multiple images with the spray can or copy/paste methods). Later, I was in the Loupe cross 'choose' images and selection in the back panel only was not "updated" what images I was actually display, which means all of the photos that I thought that I had marked as a pickaxe (by using the keyboard shortcut) were not actually marked as such because they have not been selected. I have a stuck key on my keyboard or something like that. It's really throwing a key into my workflow this evening. I need to get through 119 images for the work, which usually takes me about 30-40 minutes even with the changes, and so far I spent easily 40 minutes just having to go through and fix all the errors of selection. I only started to edit again, but I suspect that it will be very unpleasant since I usually picky and such c/p or sync/changes of settings across multiple images, especially for the color corrections. Should I uninstall and reinstall? Of course what is going on a very long day = P also, my version before moving on to the CC was 5 I think, just in case they have changed the way of doing the basic things and I never got the memo lol.

  Edited to add: this is today, freezes frequently while I'm editing. I'll probably try a new installation and see how it goes.

  Yes, try updating your driver by going directly on the manufacturer's site to get the latest.  If this does not help, you can disable the use of the GPU manually by following the instructions here: Adobe Lightroom GPU troubleshooting and FAQ

  I have a problem with hearing CS6. I can't select more than one part of a railway with the Brush tool in spectral frequency display. Normally it should work with pressing SHIFT, but it doesn't. Also, it is not possible to remove some ofe EIB selected part by pressing ALT do you know what I mean?

  These options do not exist in CS 6 hearing I'm afraid. They only did return in Audition in the first version of the CC.

• Selection problem lines/cells in a table in Indesign CC

  I have a problem when you try to select rows and cells in the tables created in Indesign CC. I use a Macbook Pro with OS x 10.9.4.

  As you can see if all goes well the image attached, I'm unable to select lines and cells properly. Believe it or not, the attached image shows the last 2 rows in the selected table. As I drag the cursor to highlight the cells/rows I want to highlight section jumps around the place is not clear which section of the table is actually selected.

  If anyone has any suggestions as to what could be the cause I would appreciate your thoughts.

  I think you should be on 9.1, this problem exists in this version and has been fixed in 9.2.1

  I would recommend that you upgrade to InDesign CC at least 9.2.1

• Photoshop CS6 [command + click] layer selection "Problem" solved

  I recently noticed something rare when working with Photoshop CS6 under Mac OS X 10.8.x.
  When I tried of course select a layer by the [command + click] (say) shortened, it failed. This little thing was driving me crazy, and I don't know that he must do some people without hair, too.

  Anyway (s), looking at another thread to read-only, I noticed the problem has not been resolved and received pretty lame recommendations. Luckily, I finally found the solution and was able to solve this small inconvenience that maybe we've all experienced. So here's the workaround solution, then maybe you never will consider downgraded to 5.5 again as I was thinking:

  (1) in Photoshop, make sure that the move tool is activated by pressing "V";
  (2) in the submenu of the tool, forget the selection/marking 'automatic selection '. I know that sounds nonsense, believe me;

  (3) Although, sure of 'sex' is selected next to the 'Automatic Selection' button and you should be as I am.

  I hope this can help some people! I would be very happy to know, since I just created this account to help you guys.

  I was wrong! The Cmd key override to always activate the automatic selection. She calls the opposite behavior from the setting.

  If the box is checked, Cmd will disable temporarily Autoselect.

• Cintiq 21UX/Photoshop CS4 / Win 7 64 b/layer selection problem

  I have problems with Photoshop CS4 and the selection of layers.

  For example, when working with an image with multiple layers, suppose I have 3 layers and the middle layer has a line drawing. The first layer's color.   I went into the Panel control/Pen and Touch and 'Movies' is disabled.

  I went into Photoshop and deselected preferences "Select panoramic Flick".

  I went in the utility preferably the Wacom tablet and deleted all my preferences, uninstalled the driver for Wacom Cintiq and reinstalled the latest driver. No change.

  Can anyone help with this? It's driving me crazy. I called Wacom and the support guy said he thought it was something that needed to be turned off in Windows as Microsoft has a setting so that select you automatically the nearest window to the top of the screen as you watch.

  Yes I agree, this can be real boring, but there is a simple solution.

  In your taskbar, uncheck the automatic selection.

  

• Losing Highlite selection problem

  Hey guys,.

  On my laptop (HP Pavilion) I have Illo CS4 and Vista.

  All of a sudden when I select the text with the text cursor I can't highlight the text... She is on because I can change the font, size etc.

  Also when I select a shape with black or white cursors, initially on the selection, I can see the handles, and then they disappear, I can still affect the object but do it blind. It is not a question of control B.

  Everything worked very well.

• selecting problem local root folder

  Hello world! I have DW CS4 on Vista and recently installed SP2. But I don't know where this problem started.

  I created a new site yesterday and then today had to transfer the folder to another site, because he won. And both times, I was unable to select the folder. It was not isolated to these two sites, however. It seems to happen with all sites, regardless of where the folder is located on my machine.

  It's a recent thing, probably related to the update of Vista SP2.  The solution?  Choose a folder below level where you want it to be! 8)

  A friend has faced a problem of Dreamweaver, I can't find any info on that. When you define a site, when he tries to define the local root folder in navigation by selecting, the local root folder is set a directory higher than he is chosen.

• Captivate menu selection problem

  In Captivate 2 or 3, when you click on a menu drop down from the top of the main interface, the menus will sometimes acting strangely by that appear then disappear quickly. This strange behavivor allow enough time to make all the selections and me the only way to correct it is to exit the Captivate and restart it.   It was a problem experienced for a while when version 2 appeared. But version 3 to correct him. So I'm a little surprised you declare that happens in Captivate 2 or 3.

  I converted this SP as oracle and the convert SP is,

  But the SP above returns an error (Error (13.3): PLS-00428: an INTO clause in the following SELECT statement) when compiling.
  
  So I used the slider to get the results and send back them. Updated the SP is,

  Depends on where you are calling from SP.
  I assume you are using a windows client, as you referred to SQL Server.
  The .NET Oracle provider, allowing return of pl/sql types and as you return only all columns in a single line, you could change your procedure to something like this:

  You must add the conditional code that will build the sql string based on the content of the criteria. If the criteria is empty, don't add where clause for the sql string.
