• Windows 7, problem driver ethernet... seriously need help!

  Hi my names chris

  & My problem is that Windows 7 will not update my drivers ethernet and coprocessor. I do not have the cd that came with the office, and I don't know the name of the ethernet inbuild manufacturer. so I can't find the driver.

  It is a packard bell and I can get my drivers from there Web site, but when I type my serial number it won't show me my drivers.

  the reason why I need this sorting is my office using a belkin Wireless G PCI card and I can not use cable because it iw away from the modem, please someone can help me because this has prevented my college courses as a brick wall.

  Go to the Control Panel Device Manager. Find the ethernet card in the list of network adapters. Expand the list and the right mouse click on the name. The ethernet card manufacturer gains the properties. Download the drivers from their website.

• CSS serious need help please (shadows... again)

  I think I'm about to cusp to figure out the shadow thing any drop - but I could use some insight and advice to end up and take my understanding to the next level. Please take a look at http://www.quintandquint.com/shadowtest/shadowtest.html and help me understand the following (note that each div background colors are defined the way they are just so I could easily distinguish the components):
  
  1. How can I fix the foot so that it is not extending beyond the shadow on the background?
  2 - is the way I put it in place to the shadow go deeper/more short based on the depth of the content of the page?
  3. how to compensate the content until the shadow more shows?
  4. How do I say all of this broader - 885 pixels?
  5. what I would need to change in order to have the home page have a background color (blue, for example) and all the content have a background color of white?
  6. is superfluous code that I can get rid of to make the pages more simple (and easier to troubleshoot/understand)?

  You can certainly do it, but you can also just drop in the content and use CSS
  positioning.

  For example, the images of background shadow didn't really need to go a
  div.. the images could just be inserted here. You can simply drop an image
  anywhere in the layout and the float that image to the left or to the right, with or without
  margins to position it.
  Another example would be an H tag. You do not need a div around it, you can
  just put his margin, background color and so on.

  An example of when you can use a div tag would be if you were to move a group
  paragraphs that you wanted to be red in a container that contains blue text
  already in it.
  You can put this group in a div tag, then apply a class to the div to make

• AY747AA: I need help my pc has 1 short beep, 1 long beep

  Hi there I seriously need help you guys with my model # P6310Y.

  I constantly hear 1 short beep and 1 beep long when I try to start my PC. According to hp, it's a memory problem, but I proved it wrong.

  I went to remove the RAM check if one of the modules is bad.they are all good 2 GB x 3.

  I also removed the disk hard windows 7 and I still get the beeps that I described above. I made sure that all the cables are correctly seated and I cleaned the MOBO set for dust, including the CPU.

  I get a white one on my screen nothing shown.

  When I plug the keyboard I get no power, lights (NumLock, CapsLock) etc.

  The mouse is powered.

  I replaced the power supply always get the beeps and I can remove it all cables, hd, mouse, KB and the beeps continue.

  Please help me guys that I have reached a dead end and I thank you for your time,

• Need help recovering TouchSmart 310-1200z

  Hello guys. I'm serious need help to get my computer working again. My original hard drive was destroyed as a result of a forced manual stop once it froze. The computer would not resume windows then and said that I needed a new hard drive. Then I replaced my computer with a new HD that I bought and which was completely empty. Now, I can not work because it says something like enter the "boot or recovery disk" I don't have a computer. Can anyone help my find this? I need to get my computer working again as usual. A complete walkthrough would be nice. Also, I don't mind having my computer restored to factory settings.

  In summary, I have a new hard drive that is empty with no disk startup or recovery on me. I can not get windows to start.   In the future, you should always make a set of recovery disks when you first purchase a HP computer.  This will save you a lot of headaches and money later.

  Here is a form that allows you to order the HP discs.  Because the computer is more recent, they should have them.

  People very well, I managed to stop it at the moment. Here's what I did. I have reformat the computer back to factory settings. Here's what I do next. I chose to disable updates from windows updates by selecting the download updates only if you choose to. The good news is that this isn't your hardware problem, it's the problem of software updated it will make this problem. The bad news is that I don't know which is the cause. So for now just follow me by restarting to factory setting and do not update anything. When it does not work and always then issues an im afraid that I can't help

  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

• New large Format printing, need help with 450 c

  Hiya, people. I'm SO happy to have met this forum. I need some serious advice with a purchase of Craigslist lightning. This morning, I picked up a DesignJet 450 c with legs/stand and a JetDirect 300 x print server. I did a quick Google search to see if the printer would work with my Macbook and the answer * seems * Yes, it will, using Gutenprint. I could not test the unit out before I forked over the money, but I have fire and managed to load paper, scroll the lightshow market, etc. Worst case, I can sell it on Craigslist.

  I've got it now houses, and I really have no idea how to do it get up and running. It is connected, turned on and it will print configuration pages (so-more in a minute), but something is not quite right and I need help, whether it is user error, bad consumables or a defective unit.

  When I load a sheet of paper and run the black print cartridge alignment routine, I get a sheet printed in alone cyan. When I run the color cartridge alignment routine, I get a printed sheet only in cyan. In fact, when I'll be whatever it is, it is printed in alone cyan. Good news is, the machine seems to be functional. bad news is, it doesn't seem to work correctly immediately.

  I removed all ink cartridges, shaken a little and reinstalled, make the flashing light "Ready" each time. That has really improved the quality of printing cyan, but they are still only cyan. I ordered the new cartridges, but in the meantime, is there anything else I should try? I have a series of questions, but I need to get the machine printing test pages correctly, I think.

  What is the address of the computer? It should be in the same frame. If this is not the same then the direct stream must be reset so that it can find an ip address that corresponds to your network. Outermost Jet directs reset if you disconect the power and then hold the test button and connect the power supply to. For a few seconds, then release. Wait about 1 minute and then press the test button to get the config page which should now show a new ip address. Type that ip address in your web browser, and it can have a web page where you can refine the settings to make the permanent address.

  I have a problem, even when the first time I bought this laptop. Whenever I put my laptop into hibernation, the screen is black as say he was arrested. But the only thing that differs is the market button always light upward. Like the one you use mode 'sleep'. The problem is you can wake up a sleep mode, stroking the keyboard or just move your mouse pointer, but every time I work in Hibernation mode it just can't wake up. I tried everything, but my lap top don't wake me up. Even by pressing the power button, it still won't even turn off. At first I thought it's my laptop crashes, but I tried several times and it has ended up in the same way. So I'm quite frustarted on it. The only thing I can do after I Hibernate, it's that I have to turn off the unit connected to my laptop or disconnected my battery. Whenever I do that and turn on my laptop, it will turn to the stop inproper screen. Is the hardware problem on my laptop or what? How can I actually fixed that. Seriously I need help.

  To check the version of the BIOS press F10 immediately after you turn on the laptop. Enter the BIOS and on the front page, you should see the version of the BIOS, something like this: F.26.

  Is a God thing to download the chipset drivers and install them.

  Hibernation issues could be related to the video driver. Download the latest video drivers (Intel and ATI/AMD). When installing them, please uninstall the current version, restart the PC, then install the new version. Restart the PC.

  I want to keep this short, as I now have serious problems.
  I have Windows 8 Pro, with each update installed.
  I was looking through the net by chance, then the messaging with a friend.
  My friend has design a logo, which he sent via Skype in a .png format.
  When I double click on the logo, the problems started. Everything has become very slow.
  The image does not open and only after 5 minutes of waiting Windows Picture Viewer began to appear.
  The strange thing is, open Windows image viewer my file .wav file music stored elsewhere, not on my desk (the photo was about all this on my desk).
  Image viewer of course could not open the music file.
  So I decided to open the Task Manager, but the error described in the title, "Taskmgr.exe - extended attributes are incompatible" error came, does not let me to open the Manager.
  This also occurs with most of my programs. I get the same error with Regedit, MSconfig and other configuration utilities, and also some programs starts, as Mumble (Murmur Server can, however).
  In fact, all system tools and, more generally, all in need of Admin privilege does not work. Some of these programs give the error message, some simply do nothing at all.
  I'm the admin user and UAC is set to the last row (no notification).
  In safe mode, everything is normal. In addition, disabling antivirus (ESET Smart Security 6) does not solve the problem.

  Edit 3: One of the programs, which frequently closed (I received a message '(program) stopped working' him) is the host of Console window.
  Edit 4: I have disabled all the codecs to start in safe mode, nothing has changed (an article describes install codecs Audacity caused the same problem).

  Since the problem started happening when you tried to open the image file that has been sent to you on Skype. There might be a chance that the image file would be infected by the virus, due to which your computer is facing this problem.

  I suggest to run the Microsoft of Networking in Safe Mode Security Scanner and check to see if it helps:
