  I just did an install turnkey LiveCycle ES4 on Windows 2008R2 DOWNLOAD ss4 trail on the Adobe site.  I use the installer of Windows of JBoss.  I got a few errors durning the installation related to the implementation of the ConfiguratonManager.bat file that I have included in the Setup log below.  The installation fails with errors.  I took at the glance in the ConfigurationManager/bin directory and there is no batch file.  The installation has not completely fulfilled and JBoss and MySQL were not installed.

  I figured out that I caused this problem.  I was install on a virtual machine mapped to a path to the virtual computer running on my local computer to a path out of the VM on my local machine.  I received the warning from UNC path, but thought that it would not be a problem because the files were still on the local computer, but I was wrong.  The LiveCycle installer doesn't really work of mapped drives.

  Error code 0 x 80070017 means generally bad media. I would recommend that you download the file again, you may have corruption in ISO itself. So if possible, download the file again. After you download the new copy, try burning at a lower setting 4 X or 8 X speed. Once you burn the disc on a lower setting with the new ISO standard, and then see if you can install Windows 7.

Overall, I think my concerns are with Windows itself and also how Adobe as a company manages a call from someone who gets a Setup error that says "call Adobe customer service. I bought this program runs on Windows 7 and I'm installing on a Windows 7 computer. I think that if Adobe will give a vague error message and tell you to contact them, they should give me more help "your product is too old, good luck on the forums.   Certainly, I don't like the way Adobe Dreamweaver Setup treats errors. Here are the facts as I know them.

  In order to re - install, I had to uninstall.  Naturally my UN-installs failed every time, too. After much trial and error and audit of the forumns, I found installation of program under c:\programs files. I deleted them, rebooted, uninstalled with no error.  Then I could re - install without the vague error "contact Adobe customer service.  Note that I had to reinstall several times to get to the bottom of the problem installation so it takes too much time to understand.

  In the end, I had to manually delete the C:\Windows\Installer to get Dreamweaver to install.  It took a lot of time to understand, too.  It is always installed with errors, but he says that Dreamweaver would work with limited functionality. So far, it's good enough for me and I'm tired of non-billable expenses on that.

  Following is one of the main erros I've had when you first install failed.  IF ANYONE KNOWS EXACTLY WHY MY INSTALLATION NO WAS NOT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW.  IT SEEMS THAT IT IS NOT HAVE THE OPERATING SYSTEM PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THESE FILES, BUT THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE PROGRAM IS INSTALLED AS AN ADMINISTRATOR.   I'm using VMWare Workstation 9.0.1 build-894247 under Win 7 x 64 and and try to install VMWare tools on a WIndows 2003 Svr Standard guest but keep getting the error "Error 1335 the cabinet file 'Toolbox.cab' required for this installation is damaged and cannot be used...". "The installation of Win 2003 SP2 and all updates from MS, I got this error several times.

  A screenshot is attached.

  Any suggestions?

  I have no problem with installation/update of the VMWare tools for other Windows guests that I recently installed.

  I don't know why the Setup error appears, but I wouldn't reinstall this tool m.
  You can find it on the page of the Toshiba driver A100 section.
  But there are 3 different satellite A100, so be sure that you have chosen the right way.
