• You can get cot "Navigate visited slides only" to work on mobile devices?

  The recent update of CP9 fixed some important bugs for mobile devices, but I still find that when I use the option "Navigate visited slides only" in the Table of contents to restrict navigation this can always be undone on mobile devices by dragging left or right.

  Is there a solution for this? I know I could disable gesture of support, but the double click to switch the table of contents is very convenient, especially on small devices. I don't see an option to specify that certain actions on the edition. Is this fixed in the next update?

  Hi André,.

  Navigate to sliding visited only option is OCD related. That is, you cannot navigate to any slide by OCD if the blade is not visited. However, you are allowed to go to the next and previous slide through game bar buttons / or drag gestures.

  How ever if you want to restrict navigation gestures by slide you could do that in cp9 uncheck the option 'allow the gesture Navigation' which is present under properties (slide).

• Several PS Windows open when I want only one

  It is a new issue for me. Everything was fine last week. I'm on an iMac vs 10.9.3.

  When I open a photoshop file... the 5 previous files (which have long since been closed) open too.  It drives me crazy. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

  This means probably that photoshop crashed at some point, when you had these 5 previous files open and the files located in the folder of photoshop recovery.

  The name of these files includes recovered just before the file extension?

  If you right-click on one of the tabs to one of these files previous document and then click reveal in Finder, which should take you to the folder where the files are located.

  It seems that this model came with XP. Did you install Vista or upgrade to Vista?

  You need to maybe install or update the Intel Chipset driver or install the package of value added.

  Partitioning your disks for ASM configuration as 'A' might make sense. If you lose one disk, you have the discs to another.

  'B' totally make sense if you have lost the disc that you have lost all group ASM and you need to change this with something like 'C '.

  But obviously you need redundancy ASM configured appropriately.

• Start several areas simultaneously 1 installation of Weblogic server?

  Is it acceptable to create and manage several areas simultaneously. Better yet, when several areas on 1 Server WLS, each area have another port number in order to be executed at the same time?
  
  Here is my scenario - I have installed Oracle Business Intellgence, which, by default, installs and configures the server WLS for some Business Intelligence applications (BI Publisher). This instance is running fine and good and always.
  
  Then I got another application, Oracle Data Integrator, that has a Console piece that requires a domain on WLS. So rather than change the existing for Oracle Business Intelligence domain, I created a new domain through the Configuration Wizard and selected these Oracle Data Integrator components.
  
  That is why the current areas:
  
  ...\domains\bifoundation_domain--> installed automatically as part of Oracle Business Intelligence
  ...\domains\odi11g--> I created this area after I
  
  Now I have 2 domains under 1 WLS Server (windows 7 64-bit), but if I startWeblogic.cmd for the bifoundation_domain and I startWeblogic.cmd for the odi11g... While the components for the bifoundation_domain will be available via the WLS Console.
  
  Issues related to the:
  -Can I simultaneously use two domains?
  -I changed the bifoundation_domain to include the Oracle Data Integrator components. so only with 1 domain, but have all run under this area?
  -Is the Port for each subject of the domain? field, the bifounddation_domain and the odi11g use ports 7001
  
  Are there other aspects? Thank you very much.

  For the side things WebLogic:
  -Yes, you can run two domains on one machine. You can run as many areas that the computer/server can handle.

  -The ports are important on what you use. Basically, the relaitonship is that you can have 1 WebLogic Server running on port 1. Otherwise, you'll have weblogic servers, prevent others from commissioning. So, you will need to make sure that all of your weblogic servers are configured on separate ports. 7001 is the default port WebLogic AdminServer. You can modify the ports that are used from the Administrator console or '% Domain_Home%/config/config.xml '.

• Integration Broker - several areas

  We have several environments in our boxes of test app server and the web. It seems that we have only one of these environments where work Report Manager. When we did our original installation of PIA on the web server, we installed a single domain - peoplesoft. Each of our environments is a separate proceeding under the webserv\peoplesoft\applications\peoplesoft\portal. All our web sites for each of these instances works well, but I think that we should have our pia Setup so we have a separate domain for each environment/SID. I see the integrationGateway.properties file, I can see the URL to communicate with the application server. This properties file is under webserv\peoplesoft\application\peoplesoft\psigw. It is not a separate file (or folder) for each environment. This makes me think that the cause of the problem with Report Manager is that we do not have a separate domain for each environment (webserv\Demo\applications..., webserv\Test\applications...).
  
  How other shops to configure the PIA on their test boxes. You have a separate domain for each SID or do you run with just a domain name and the SID are under this domain name?

  It is strongly recommended to have a separate PIA for each environment.
  Especially for a correct use of the Integration Broker. A single instance of the PIA may have only one door of entry, which can connect to multiple application servers.
  If your PIA assembly is set up to handle all traffic separate instances of peoplesoft (read server/database application DEV/TEST/etc) and especially if your environments have the same node names, the integration broker will route the message to the first instance. This can cause DEV messages to send to the TEST and you do not want. Also a point of view of security, when you use the same node names in one environment you have active SSO, this will cause a transparent access between DEV and TEST etc.

  For brevity, every environment should be it's own PIA.

Or in other words a set of patterns is a domain. So if we create soa_domain_1 and soa_domain_2 then we create patterns SOAINFRA_1 and SOAINFRA_2 to soa_domain_1 and soa_domain_2 respectively.

  There must be one to one mapping between the schema and the domain created by RCU. A single schema must belong to one and only one domain.

  If you want to create two areas you will need to run twice the RCUS. If you create the same DB schema then the prefix must be different in the case otherwise you can create the schema with the same prefix (in different databases) for different areas.

  Hi, I have question about several legends of text on a slide in my project. I want to change content of the text caption by clicking on the various buttons on the slide.

  There are 4 buttons slide and in the middle of the slide, there is text caption. Is it possible to change the contents of the legend by clicking the button or is it possible to do different (hide or view different legends etc...)?

  Hi Martin.  Back to the earlier suggestion to use advanced actions, we have used them successfully in a smiilar situation to show and hide things.  As you have discovered, once the button show or hide things, it automatically «continues»  As we found in a previous publication somewhere on this great forum, you can prevent continue it by adding an additional action to your advanced action script.  Here is an example:

  

  The rdcmdGotoFrame - rdInfoCurrentFrame is the key.  Once the peak action is created, make this advanced action the action to perform when a button is clicked.

• Adding Audio to areas of reversal

  I need to add a picture to a question, that when a student rests their mouse on will play a short mp3 file.  I don't want to automatically read the file - I added a roll on image and a roll on the legend - the two operate sporadically - sometimes they play as soon as the question starts - sometimes, I have to move my mouse.  When I return in edit slides - rolling does not show an audio file on those who await the mouse hovering - but is still on those that do, I have no idea of what I've done differently...  What is the right path to follow to complete this type of interaction? Any idea what may have caused my fate?

  It is not exactly clear to me exactly how you have assigned audio.

  In case it will help, I'll describe the process I could follow (which I've never seen fail) in the hope that it will help you.

  Click Insert > Rollover (Image or legend, it should make no difference).

  When you do so, you will see TWO objects on the slide. One is the area of your mouse of the user in the course. The other is what is displayed when the user will fly over the other domain.

  Note that each of the two areas will allow you to attach the Audio. And this is where many people get confused.

  If you attach audio to the rollover area, you hear when the rollover area is displayed. Often, this means that loading the slide upward. But if you attach audio to the object that is displayed when the rollover area is twitch by the user, the only sound should be heard when you hover over.

  Too often users get the two confused. They have audio to the rollover area and it should be the other way around.
