SL510 win 7 pro 64 plus wireless?

OK, I'm going a little crazy here. Yesterday I received my win 7 pro 64 bit lenovo recovery disks. After about 3 hours installation and update, everything is great. My sl now uses 7.84 the 8 GB of ram, I installed. I arrested him for the night and when I come home from work the next day my wireless is now on the fritz. Apparently the wireless itself radio turns off. If I switch on the front side manual wireless switch right radio will always light. It will only turn on if I go through the whole diagnose routine problem that irritating suggests then I applied the fix to turn on my wireless... 5 minutes later the radio wireless magically turns off again. I made sure I have the latest version of the driver and even tried to roll back the driver. Any help would be, as always, be appreciated!

OK, a full stop was apparently the fix. I was restarting all the time, but after a total stop and a break, I came back energized and everything seems to go well until now. I'll post again if the problem resurfaces.

I installed the printer as wireless six months initially.  It worked without problem until a few weeks ago the scan function would no longer work.  The screen of the printer has an error message which I have omitted to write but as I recall it was a failure of communication and listed the possible reasons [3].  The print function worked fine.  Printing and scanning doctor froze after choosing to set the scan function.  I uninstalled the existing software to install the full features software, that I downloaded.  I was not able to reinstall the software from.  I chose the wireless connection and the software crashes when searching for devices, never find any yet the printer is connected to my network.  I repeated the process, more than a dozen times and times [2] the facility found the printer but has frozen shortly after that I chose and I continued.  I have to finish the program in the Task Manager.  I currently installed the device in USB and tried to convert wireless, still frozen.  Scan and Disk Doctor does not work because it says I don't have the full software installed.

I moved home and brought my computer and printer with me. I chose a new access provider and sent the new router.

My old House my computer and the printer/scanner worked fine. Now set up at the new House and I can print but it won't scan. The computer and peripheral HP are connected to the router. I uninstalled all the HP software and reinstalled. On the front of the printer if I select Scan of the computer he says not 'found computer.... ' Make sure that the feature is enabled"using the HP utility. But in the HP utility there is not the option "Scan to Computer" more. Hello

First, make sure you have the latest firmware installed as follows:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8600-plus-e-all-in-one-printer-series---N911/4322915/model/4323647/document/c02919168/

    Then, try the following:

    1. Of the printer, click on the right arrow / left and press the ion of the configuration of the printer.
    2. Select Network Configuration.
    3. Select direct Wireless Configuration.
    4. Ensure the Direct wireless is enabled and take one step of his password if such a value.
    5. Click on the WiFi icon from your Mac and connect to the SSID 8600 spirit "live / Print" in its name.
    6. Go to System Preferences > print and scan and click on the plus sign to add the printer - you see it listed as Hello via the direct wireless connection?

Please let me know the results, if it not listed as Hello with Direct wireless, which clearly show that the new router interrupts the multicast connection, this is the same as the connection through a different router.

On your screenshot, it seems that your router do not transfer packets to multicast to the need...

  • Officeject Pro 8600 Plus: Officejet Pro 8600 will copy in color but not print in color

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus able to make copies of color, but it will not print in color of my office.  My printer uses the version of the firmware CLP1CN1416AR.  When I go to print a document in color, I go to the properties of the printer and then advanced and set print in grayscale on Off, but I get still only prints in grayscale.

    Thanks for your suggestions Zac.

    1. we have tried using several different programs (paint, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, a test of the printer properties page, etc.), but all printed only in grayscale.

    2. it's connected via Ethernet cable to our Wi - Fi wireless router and then to our laptop.

    3. the ink levels are all above 40%.

I had already tried electric bike on the printer several times as well as the computer, which did not help.  I tried to change the printer settings default to print in gray and then changed them back to the color, but that did not help either.  I tried resetting the printer, mentioned in another thread (unplug the power cord at the back of the printer, while he was conducting, then unplug the power transformer in the decision-making, hold button power printer for 60 seconds, then reconnect the), but which did not help either.  Finally, I uninstalled the Windows printer and reinstalled a couple of times, and finally, it started working properly again, so, apparently, there was a problem with the driver who eventually got cleared up by reinstalling the printer/software/drivers.

Please come back to me @Shahin_ij. I think the printer reset will solve the problem. I'll send you a PM (private Message), but before I do, please see the HP Privacy Statement.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

  • Oficejet Pro 8600 Plus seems to disconnect and docs does not print unless it is turned off then

I have a Dell with Windows 7 dekstop. The HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is connected wireless and worked well during the past year. The only change of note is that an old belkin wireless router died and was replaced by a new Belkin wireless router which seems to work very well. My Office recognizes the printer and my printer recognizes the router on my desktop

The problem is that it seems my 8600 turns standby or offline after a certain period of time of inactivity and when print jobs are sent to the printer either by OIOS or by different laptops in the House, nothing prints. My desktop printer that actually tell me job is printing... then it says error, printer offline. However, printer is on and says that it has strong wireless internet at any time

A single difficulty has been to put off the printer (via button on / off) turn it and then turn it back on and saved then print print jobs. In addition, the new print jobs launched fly right by fine. Then the next day, the problem repeats

I just unplug printer a surge protector and moved to a wall outlet directly by something else that I read. I use kapersky security system causing no problem before the beginning of the question.

I have disabled the option to turn on printer for some time and stop at another time to remove this as a cause.

Dell and Belkin two saying its a HP problem since the printing run after the printer out of power, and then power on, but I am running out of ideas to try to stop.

These settings are to set up your wireless printer to stay connected to your router, wireless devices stay better connected and makes your router secure and hack proof.

    1. define a static in the printer IP address (click here) out of the DHCP of the router Beach (check your manual).

It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this

first of all if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here (Windows solution 4, static IP).

    2. check the printer "Auto Off" is disabled.  Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by going in the

the printers IP address in your browser's address bar, click Settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer

    Assistant, printer Home Page (EWS).

    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.

    4. If necessary and you have assigned a static IP address, try using 8.8.8.8 for the preferred DNS server and

8.8.4.4 at the level of the auxiliary DNS server.

In the router: (refer to the manual of your router for more information)

    5. use a wireless channel fixed as 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.

6 choose the router to 20 Mhz only, or 145Mbps router function.

    7. always use WPA2-AES encryption (personal), but you can try the "mixed" mode

8 disable the WPS and never use it and disable the UPnP for the security of routers. No one can hack into your

now the system and helps with wireless connectivity (if you want to know why, research on the web).

    9. If you have a router dual band (2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz bands), make sure you the SSID is NOT the same.

they must be different for all the bands, even for networks without comments.

10 broadcast SSID must be enabled.

    11. save all settings. Food at the same time, wait 2 minutes.  Power on router wait 2 minutes.

12 turn on the printer and check that it reconnects to the router.

Windows 7/8/8.1 is discovered the system on or off?

  • Updating the measures for Win - XP Pro, SP1 to SP3 (jump SP2?)

I do volunteer work 1/2 day per week for a small organization non-profit organizations with a very limited budget (almost non-existent). We work in the given space, but have free access to the DSL service.

    We have the following...

    1 2000 computer HP desktop, Intel Pentium 4, Windows 2000, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB, CD - R, IE - 6 hard drive.

    2 2006 Compaq desktop with Win - XP SP3, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HD, CD - R, IE-8.

    3. computer acer laptop 2008, Win - XP SP3 with 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HD, CD-R/W that works (depending on what day of the week, it comes), IE-8.

One of our local "family" donated the following for us...

2004 work HP desktop with Win - XP Pro SP1, 512 MB RAM, 105 GB HD (less than 30 GB used), CD - RW, DVD-R, IE-6,

-plus a new module of RAM of 512 MB which could be installed.

-a new, but not installed, updated graphics card.

These two were going to be installed, but the client fell sick and recently passed away.

While this desktop computer is older, it has been used very little, 'C' part of the HD less than 30 GB of 105 GB used, less than 2% of disk fragmentation, no scratches, dents, original basic mouse and keyboard... excellent shape.

In order to remove the HP 2000 desktop computer, I suggest the following...

    (A) delete all the old software, except the WIN - XP.

    (B) defrag the HD.

    (C) the Win - XP, SP1 rollback "original updated" status. HP support pages imply that he is a "clean install". HP has the SP1 of Win - XP original on a segment of "recovery" of the HD.

What else is necessary (I guess)...

    1. install the new 512 MD RAM module.

    2. check that the current power out sufficient to manage the 'new' graphics card (requires 250 watt power)... and install the new graphics card... or just stay with the existing graphics capabilities if the power supply is insufficient.

    3. update all hardware drivers.

    4. load Win - XP, SP2, and SP3... or just go to SP1 SP3? (comments, please)

5 install Internet Explorer 8... or IE-9? (comments, please).

    6. use of Win - XP SP3 and security center firewall... or install (?) for a protection antivirus and antispyware... suggestions sincerely appreciated.

7 install MS Office 2007 Pro (unused software, gift).

My dilemma... What is the sequence own/recommended to perform all these steps...

    A / B / C / D? and 1-2-3-4-5-6-7?

Remember that we do not have money for a new computer, but I don't have the time and (I think) the ability to perform the steps.

Thanks for your suggestions, recommendations and comments.

    Greetings - FLgal

Your Service Pack 3 CD contains the SP3 .exe Setup file, so you don't need to download what you fortunately already.

If you need to download this file, it would have been safer to do using another PC. But since you have it, don't you worry in this regard. :-)

  • Printing from W7 HP laptop attached to a Win XP Pro Office; driver needed?

    Hello:

Have a home network of XP machines that allows to print on a HP 3030 printer that is usb attached to a wireless Win XP Pro SP3 desktop.  Find everything HP/fine print.  Added a portable W7 Home Prem 64 b, changed the name of default WORKING group-> of the existing XP Workgroup. W7 is attached 3030 fine on the net, but:

Trying to add the printer results in: "Cannot find the driver on the network..." "One needs. INF file.  Try to find such a file locally fails; configuration to add a printer to look at Windows Update also fails.  HP.com says that support this printer is "Windows7" - I can't find a driver. INF file to d/l.

Suggestions welcomed.  Is it really a driver problem or a W7 problem Windows XP Home edition?  Thanks in advance.

Endnote: W7 laptop can print to HP if it is local/USB-connected directly to the 3030, so the driver 3030 in W7 works; the problem seems to be in queue a task to the WXP since the W7 over the net.

OK solved this problem; If anyone has this problem go on the W7 Forum in this same topic for my post/reply.  The solution is to add the WinXP printer as a local printer via a Local Port; a W7 driver must be available on the W7 machine of course...  Solution has been posted for the same problem under Vista.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - Can no longer print with my Mac

I have been using a printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus via my MacBook Pro (OS X Yosemite version 10.10.4) for about two years with no problems until recently.  Since a few days ago, I'm more able to print wireless, despite the fact that the printer is connected to the network.  Interestingly, the print queue reflects the print job completed, but pages do not print.  In my attempts to solve the problem, I have (i) restore factory settings and re-written information of network required on the printer; (ii) disconnected the printer and waited five minutes;  (iii) unplugged and reset the router. (iv) deleted and reinstalled the software and drivers printer on my laptop.  My laptop is in communication with the printer as evidenced by my ability to scan using HP Scan wireless, but I'm unable to print the document once it is scanned.  Finally, I am able to print the network settings Page in the menu of the printer, but not the printer web page... I get an error message saying 'the printer is busy. Try again later.  Any ideas to fix this frustrating problem would be greatly appreciated.  I apologize if my descriptions are not technically accurate because I am a novice when it comes to computers and networks.  Thanks a lot for your help.

Thank you for your response and suggestions. I really appreciate it.  You beat me to the punch... only a few hours ago, I was able to get the printer working again... but I forgot to update my post.  As you recommended, I have reset the printing system, downloaded a new driver... hpprinterdriver3.1.dmg... added a new printer... restart the printer, my router and my laptop... and the printer from work once again from my Mac.  Yet once again, I appreciate your efforts... Bravo.

  • Update Win 7 Pro to win 10 Pro

When I received notifications on my computer at the office (Win 7 Pro); Home (Win 7 Pro) and my laptop (Win 7 Pro) in all cases, I see only a verification that I am currently running Win 7 but no mention of the Pro!  I need for remote access.

As I read the many comments on the situation, I hope that I understand that if I have Win 7 Pro, I will be upgraded to win 10 Pro.  However, before you start the upgrade on any of my computers, I would like to know if there is a way required and recommended to start the upgrade that will ensure I get the Pro versions or will happen automatically?

Yes, your installation of Windows 7 Professional will be modernized for Windows 10 Pro.

If you start the upgrade through Windows Update, or media ISO creation tool, you will get 10 Pro in Windows.

    Option 1:

    Download the media creation tool

Click with the right button on the MediaCreationTool.exe file and then click on run as administrator.

Note: How to check if you are downloaded or installed the update Windows 10 November

How to create an ISO or USB drive.

Select upgrade this PC now and then click Next

    Option 2:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

    Windows Update problem (new)

The following procedure applies in the case of installation (reinstall) Windows 7.  It does not apply to a usual, normal day.

I'm afraid that you will do the reinstall again.  Not a terrible penalty to pay.  Usually takes less than an hour.  Then immediately proceed to the next procedure.   It's strange, but it really does work and many people have proved it.

NEVER install anything other than Windows updates until your system is up-to-date.  Once you have the list update, install all together.  Installation of updates in batches is not expedite the process or do better.

    1. Before you begin to re - install, download (32 or 64 bit) KB3083710 and KB3102810 in advance and store on a USB
    2. Start and end the re - install Windows 7 SP1
    3. Before that the newly installed system can go online for the first time, Disconnect the computer from the Internet.  This chronology is essential.
    4. Install KB3083710 and reboot manually.
    5. Install KB3102810 and reboot manually.
    6. Restore the Internet connection, and run Windows Update as usual.
    7. After a few minutes, you should have a lot of updates to download and install.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus will not be printed

I just bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus, and I've connected two PC and two iPads to it.  I also plugged on my Macbook Pro (iOS 10.6.8), but unlike four other devices, the Macbook will not print.

The Macbook watch the installed printer, sends the print job, but nothing prints.  I reinstalled the printer, the driver updated and reset the system print, all nothing will do.   I know that the Macbook and printer can communicate because I can print a test page for the HP utility in the browser.

You do not know this information helps, but I have observed in anticipation of eventually being removed from their own print jobs.  I also noticed that, strangely enough, a print job will appear in the queue, I try to print the levels of power, but I was not initialized it.

    What Miss me?

(Btw, it's a wireless installation.  I read that others troubleshoot using a static address, but this isn't an option for me. My ISP router will not work with a static address.)

After much research, I found someone else on this forum who has had the same problem and found a solution.  I post the link below in case someone comes on this post.

  • Win 7 Home Premium Remote Desktop with Win XP Pro

I need my Win 7 Home to connect to my Win XP Pro (XP is the host)... I can see portable XP on the network, access files, and the ping... I can not connect via remote desktop.  On XP I have enabled to allow users to connect remotely to this computer, checked exceptions in the system, on the Remote tab properties.  Seems that everything is configured correctly.  I have a wireless router that I use for the network, I do not understand how to check or change access to the port if necessary or if I need a VPN to get there.  Help please.  Thank you

Windows 7 Home Premium can only be remote desktop access - you can't access other macines FROM Windows Home Premium.
See here a FAQ on the remote desktop.
