Slow connection Windows 7 64 bit

In the last two days, my wireless Internet has declined to a paralyzing kbit/s from 1 to 10. I have absolutely no idea why this has happened. Before that there is no change to my network.

I'm running on a router Linksys WRT54G, Windows 7 64-bit.

First shut down the PC, and then disconnect the pwr to the router/modem, wait five, pwr the modem/router switch on, wait 5, and then start the PC, and the pc once charged completely re - test

  • Flash CS4 extremely slow on Windows 7 64-bit. NOT a question of Kaspersky!

    Hello.

My problem is exactly the same as resolved in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2356898#2356898

Flash is just unusable, due to extremely slow performance. Selection of a tool or by typing in actionscript takes forever. I also noticed that sometimes takes flash.exe (Yes only sometimes), a lot of CPU utilization, even when you make simple things as mentioned above.

On the same machine, before upgrading to Vista Ultimate x 64 to Windows 7 Ultimate x 64, 2 days ago, everything worked perfectly.

Please help me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

    Grzelu.

I had the same problem on W7 (32 bit). I also noticed that firefox really slows on pages with a lot of flash. I did not have this problem when I was using XP.

  • Windows 7 64-bit extreme slow Spooling/printing to network printer

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C200 as a network connected via "Standard TCP/IP Port" and Protocol LPR printer.
My problem is extremley slow printing/winding queue takes very long and even if the queue is full it still takes time for printing to be recognized by the printer.
I don't know if it's a problem of network or Win 7 as previous XP machinewith the sameprinter and the installation program had no problem, I installed the latest printer driver but it's dated from 31/10/08 so don't know that if there is a problem, he said the pilot was compatible with Win7.
    Any solution would be grateful.

Tried all the methods, but no difference so my conclusion was it takes the printer itself...
Checked over the printer setting, discovered 'Network Council Set' and changeda to 'Auto' and now the print speed is what it was before.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Windows 7 64 - bit, GA-970-a-DS3P, slow SATA 3 HD and USB 2.0 also issues

    Let me start this way:

    Material:

    Motherboard: GA-970-a-DS3P

    (1) WD Caviar Black HD: 3 amendments of 1 TB each. One for the OS, one for applications and one for Swap. (Don't ask how I ended up with this config: it's a long story of upgrade).

    (2) graph GTX 550 Ti card.

    (3) AMD Phenom x 4 965 BE: all 4 cores unlocked. DO NOT overclocked.

    (4) RAM DDr3 8 GB (2 sticks)

    (5) rest include 1 SATA DVD drive, Cooler Master monstrous fins CPU cooler (which cuts my fingers twice) and a power supply 650W (Cooler Master)

    Software:

    (1) Windows 7 64 bit ultimate (new installation)

    (2) MS Office 2010

    (3) Acronis True Image 2012

    (4) cloud of Creative adobe: Adobe Acrobat Pro XI

    The ORGANIC parameters:

a value of 1) all SATA AHCI.

    (2) active xHCI. (no idea)

    (3) active eHCI. (no idea)

    Drivers:

1st install Gigabyte SATA AHCI and USB 3.0 drivers drivers. All keyboard & mouse drivers are from Gigabyte.

2nd configuration (after that I discovered that it was slow death): DriverMax provided SATA 3.0 AHCI drivers.

Windows start up the GUI login screen in 40 to 43 seconds after the POST.  (Used to make less than 30 seconds before I installed MS Office).

Problem and diagnoses that I made:

    (1) primary HD is extremely slow to respond. It takes just an inordinate amount of time to respond to the high activity of HD. (Like when I try to copy a large file on the C drive or read from drive C).

    (2) I used Perfmon.exe to monitor disk queue length and % disk time Avg. Length of queue disk on drive C starts from 0.117 and amounts to 24,26 within 20 minutes once I started. % disk time is high at 118.98 or even above.

    (3) surprisingly a USB 3.0 flash drive has reported a speed of 118 MB/s on a copy of a file of 3.4 GB D USB 3.0 drive

    (4) USB 2.0 reported avg 28 MB per second, which was expected.

    (5) after that I removed the drivers from Gigabyte SATA, I used one of Drivermax (don't know what it was).  Yes, I remove the old drivers, rebooted and then installed drivers drivermax.

    (6) disk queue length dropped to 0.28 on average when copying to and from the drive C and even under heavy operations.

    (7) Windows experience index stays at 5.9 for HD primary.

    (8) Avg speed of drive C is now about 128 to 132 MB/second (seriously?)

    (9) I don't find the exclamation points or question marks in Device Manager.

    (10) now, since yesterday, the speed has dropped again down (no updated driver, but the critical Windows updates made). Avg disk queue length again increased slowly to about 24.23.

    (11) what I did a chkdsk c: R, but could not find any errors of surface HD.

    (12) I am past controller cables and plugged in the different plugs (which cut on sharp edges of the graphics card and the fins of the cooler: why HW manufacturers can soften the edges: they will lose money?).

    (13) USB 2.0 speed has dropped drastically to 7,28 MB/second copy about 1 GB of multiple files of 12 MB each.

Am at the end of my rope on this.

Can I have a very problematic motherboard? Have I not dumb drivers? Or I did something wrong here?

Any help to fix this problem of speed appreciated.

P.S. The system is also catchy and fast with start-up less than 45 seconds, even times with connected devices. Opening apps are fast and load system (also long that I do not touch the C drive) are faster.

    Thanks in advance

  • How to get a hp 4600 Color Laser jet print on a vista or Windows 7 64 - bit OS PC which does not have a parallel port connection?

My hp 4600 color Laser Jet uses a parallel cable to connect to a Windows PC. When I had XP as the OS it worked fine. But now after the upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 64-bit OS it will not work and my PC does not even recognize it when it is plugged into the PC with the parallel to USB cable that worked so well before. So, what should I do to get the PC to recognize the Hp 4600 and have it printed again as before? (My first plan is to try to get the printer to work by hooking up through Wireless. Does anyone know if it will work? I'll answer my own question, if it does. Wish me luck! (Thank you!)

According to the HP support site, there are drivers available for Vista and Windows 7 If you're lucky it. Download the appropriate drivers for your computers. According to the information of product from HP, this printer can be connected directly to the network by an ethernet cable. I don't see where it has wireless capability, but in any case ethernet is preferable for printer connections if possible.

Connect the printer directly to your router or switch connected to your router and assign a static IP address outside the range the router DHCP. Then, install the drivers that you got from the HP website for your operating system.

The problem occurs when you perform a Wizard for easy transfer to a computer that was Symantec Endpoint Protection installed to one without him.

    Answer, copypasted:

Inspect the key mentioned above - that is of HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\RasMan\PPP\EAP.

In each of the number keys look something like ConfigPathBackup and its corresponding ConfigPath - there are a number of them.

For each, I deleted the original key (e.g., ConfigPath) and restored the original by renaming ConfigPathBackup to ConfigPath

For each of them, the State is now restored to her pre State Symantec - each key pointed to a Symantec location that is no longer present and by restoring the path key backs up everything was fine

  • Problems connection Canon SX280 WiFi for Windows 7 (64-bit)

I hope someone can help me.

I recently bought a Canon SX280HS that has possibilities of wifi, and I'm having a problem connecting to my laptop.     I use a laptop Dell Inspiron N7110 running Windows 7 (64-bit).   It connects to the internet and a printer wireless via a pretty new without and problems at all Netgear wifi router.    This laptop also has Intel (R) My Wifi Technology, and I can access the utility to it via the control panel.

After installing wifi set up the software provided with the camera, I first tried to connect the camera via the Netgear router.   After putting in the correct encryption key (I did this many, many times), he search the device, but it is never and eventually times out with a "communication error" and "device not found."

I was ready to return the camera to Amazon...

But then I tried to connect the camera using the Intel(r) my Wifi utility.   I activated the technology, put in the correct encryption key, and the cannon appears on the users list, showing its MAC address and a wifi signal strong.   The camera then sees the name of my Dell laptop, but when I try to connect it, all I get is 'connection '.  Finally, it ends with a "communication error" and "connection failed."

At this point, I find the wifi on the camera works properly because it clearly links to the Intel(r) my Wifi on my laptop.

Can someone tell me how to configure my laptop to allow the rest of the connection?     Oh, I tried this many times with my anti-virus IT and OFF and my firewall ON and OFF, and it does make a difference.

    Thanks for your help.

Had the same problem with the same device under Windows. For me, I fixed it by going to control panel > network and sharing Center > view network computers and devices (this, while the camera tries to connect to your PC. I then click with the right button on my camera icon and click "install". Also, make sure that 'file and printer sharing' are on (my PC actually invited this). Don't know if this will help, but worked for me. Can now import wireless!

  • RESOLVED: External Volume RAID 5 TPG "split into two" once connected to the new Windows 7 64 bit install

I have an AMS Venus T5J external drive enclosure (DS-2350J); It is filled with disks Western Digital 1 terabyte Caviar Green 5, model WD10EADS.  The device of Venus using a control panel with a JMicron JMB393 chipset, which is able to create RAID volumes to a connected host system transparently.  I used it to create a volume of 4 terabyte RAID 5 covering all five disks.  I've been accessing using a laptop Toshiba P105-S9337 with a card PCMCIA Vantec eSATA interface, which worked, but was not very effective.  Of course, it was necessary to structure the volume as TPG due to its size.  That has been a challenge.

My primary system was Windows XP 32-bit installed, which does not support GPT disks.  I experimented with Ubuntu and another distribution of Linux, which supports the GPT, but ran into problems to mount the RAID 5 volume transparently (it may have partially been my inexperience, but it * should * have been easier).

So I decided I have to install Windows 7 on this system, so that I could get access to this RAID her volume.  The system is based on an Asus M2N SLI Deluxe motherboard, which has an eSATA port integrated driven by a JMicron JMB363 chipset (NOT capable port multiplier).

Windows 7 installation, installation of the JMicron driver for the motherboard and log box RAID, Windows little wanted to assign the 'disc' a new disk ID in order to to use.  I met regularly this process in the past without problems, when the new disks are presented on a Windows system, so I thought that anything that allows him to do.  However, has as expected making accessible existing volume.  After investigation, I discovered that Disk Manager believes that there is a space UNALLOCATED 1.67 TB and nothing more!

At this point, I was naturally anxious, because I had data on the volume.  I checked the volume by connecting it to the laptop Windows 7 (32-bit) with whom he had previously worked and found a slightly different and more revealing image in disk management: there were TWO regions illustrated for the disk, an exactly 2 TB and the other TB to a 1.67, this last occupant clearly space greater than 2 TB.  These two regions, yet once, were listed as unallocated.  In both systems, Windows 7 was also clearly assumed the volume she TPMS, since the two I saw the option convert to GPT... which is already!

That's happened?  Simply allowing Windows write a disc ID to this volume somehow corrupt?  How can I recover the previous volume of 3.67 unique TB who was present?  Should I just order in disk management to convert it to a GPT disk?  Is a non-destructive operation?

I solved this problem with a perfect result...

In short, I could use TestDisk to recover completely with all data intact original partition table.  It took several tries, several hours waiting for the paint to peel (scanning) and finally a brief dialogue with the proponent (Christophe Grenier).
