  You may have a problem with an extension or plugin that obstructs normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  In all cases, prove a screenshot would be useful.

  I take some college courses online and when I go to the website of Blackboard, the lettering is super small. While the school suggests Firefox to undergo the tests, and any other time where time is important, I can't read anything without a LARGE magnifying glass.   You can also check the current zoom bar '3' Firefox menu button in the drop-down list on the Navigation toolbar (+ | 100% |-).

  If it's only on Hotmail, hold down the CTRL key while you press the '+' a number of times. CTRL + the '-' (minus button) to reduce the size again.

  You can adjust the font size on any site in combinations ctrl - (control and 'negative') and ctrl - + (control and 'more', or ctrl - =, control and "equal to"). Control and mouse wheel works too high/low. In addition, you can reset the default font size by pressing ctrl - 0 (control and "zero").

  To the menu 'View' try to press 'Alt' + 'V' on the keyboard.

  To set the default zoom: "Ctrl" + "0" (zero)

  To display the menus again, right-click on the left end of the address bar (where there is an icon of the current web page) and select "Menu Bar".
