I set up my personal information to display on the lock screen so that if ever I lose my phone, someone who is finding it can contact me.   When I lock my camera which is password protected my owner information is displayed. I'm on device OS v5.0 that I don't remember the owner info never display on a screen lock.

  OK, it seems that I finally I could remedy then I'll write the steps that I followed, just in case.

  In my case, I was not able to start the phone in following mode fastboot with all combinations of keys, and the computer it has not detected:

  -Low volume + button.

  -High volume + button.

  -All buttons pressed at the same time.

  But after some trial and error, I pressed the middle (the toddler between flight up and down) button + power button and the phone started in mode 'starting'

  The computer detects it and loaded MM autoloader (first attempt get stuck again, but a 2nd went until the end). After that the phone boot up normally.

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.
