SMF svcadm and dsccagent - Sparc/Sol10 self-starter

Greetings;

I installed the Version 11.1.1.7.0 of the ODSEE in a configuration of ROR.  Since my deployment works as expected, I want to ensure that all necessary processes are put in service after that it recharges.

I have activated successfully one of my Masters to autostart (non DCC on this host) with:

stop dsadm < instance-database >

dsadm enable service - type < instance-database > SMF

dsadm start < instance-database >

So I rebooted my server, and as expected, dsadm is running (YAY!)

Then I did the same as above for dsccagent, using the following:

stop dsccagent

dsccagent enable service

dsccagent start

This time however, SVC - one | grep Department, we get:

maintenance -15:39:21 svc:/application/sun/dsccagent7_-usr-dsee7:dsccagent7-usr-dsee7-var-dcc-agent

Resetting has not helped as well.   I am able to manually stop/start dsccagent, but that defeats the purpose for what I'm trying to achieve.

I would also like to point out that I received the following error message when I ran dsccagent enable-service:

Recording ' / usr/dsee7/var/DCC/agent "under the name"dsccagent7-usr-dsee7-var-dcc-agent"SMF...

svccfg (/ usr/dsee7/var/dcc/agent/tmp/svc.conf, line 2): Instance already exists.

The svc.conf file mentioned above, even non-existent, not where the error above indicates this.

Finally, I am always under my DS as user root, any recommendation on Exchange in user "George" appreciated!

TIA!

I did, my never logs show nothing, leading me to believe that it is / was a problem with SMF (see error above).

What I did to fix this was Delete svccfg , then dsccagent stop; dsccagent enable service; dsccagent start twice!

For some reason, on two of my servers, I show two entries for each process of SMF, inconsistent across my four servers, but works well .

OK, so now that I have my process all registered in SMF and work, how do stop processes on my pool of masters via CDC?   The DCC is apparently using the command "dsadm stop " versus "svcadm disable ". I know because after my order to stop via the CDC has been given, the process restarts quickly, as expected when not arrested with svc *.

Anyone?

Thank you

-mi

    Welcome to the Apple community.

I'm afraid that is what happens when you share an Apple ID.

Ideally you should each have your own ID and use family share for share purchases, but at least you would be better to have your own ID's for everything except iTunes.

I suspect that your problem is that you share an ID for FaceTime, you must either stop this or make sure that you have only and that your caller ID is only your phone number.

I moved your question answers feedback to Windows desktop and personalization areas.

You care to offer up what version of Windows, you are talking about but if it's Windows 7, I would right-click on the offending list and either:

    2. Delete the Start Menu if the entry is pinned in the Start Menu (above the most recent / most often used).

Now, my computer is screwed... In the start menu > all programs, everything has disappeared! Oh and I can't get online in normal or safe boot mod either, what can I do?

Original title: how to get rid of a virus on windows xp proremove a virus from windows xp pro

    Hello

    1. Why do you think that the computer is infected with the virus? See you pop - unwanted ups or odd behavior of all programs?

2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

    3. did you run any online scanners to remove infections?

    4. What is the antivirus installed on the computer program?

Method 1: Run a scan antivirus on your computer.

    www.Microsoft.com/Security/Scanner

Note: If infections are detected during the scan, there is a risk of data loss because infected files will be deleted.

Method 2: Safe mode with networking

Step 1: Check if you can browse the Internet with success in Mode safe mode with networking.

Networking Mode safe mode starts Windows in mode safe mode and includes the network drivers and services needed to access the Internet or other computers on your network.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

Step 2: Put the computer in a State of boot is a way to know which application is causing this problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

Step 1: Follow the steps in the link below to do the same thing:

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:

Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state

After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    1. Click Start and then click Run.
    2. Type msconfig and click OK. The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
    3. Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

    Method 3:

Create a new user account and verify if you are able to access the program in the start menu.

Try to connect with a different user has administrator rights account and then create a new user account.

For more information, see these links:

    I hope this helps.

    c5mech,

Outside there is a hardware problem, I don't know what else would cause. If the Tablet has never taken root, then it should work fine. It could be a short in the motherboard that causes this problem.

  • After you restore rundll32.exe, I restarted my computer all the icons on my desktop and all programs in the start menu disappeared

Every thing seems to have returned to normal, but when I restarted my computer all the icons on my desktop and all programs in the start menu disappeared, and yet, all programs are always in: Control Panel > add/REMOVE programs.   I can still connect to the internet by going to-Start > my computer > view > go to the desktop. How to get back all the icons on my desktop. I tried a click right, but in vain. I also ran a scan complete antivirus. any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Joel S. Before I could put your advice into practice a friend recommended a friend who advised me to do a system restore, which he said he would be happy to do it for me. So look like an easy option, I agreed. It seems to have solved the problem (fingers crossed), but now it seems that I need to format the hard drive. If you have any tips on formatting hard drive I'm all ears. Thank you Owen

Hello, my parents computer came RAM volume0 has failed and not be able to start. We went and brought a new hard drive, and its always say the same thing. Any ideas?

A message on the RAID 0 volume failed is a recognizable error message, but the news is not good.

RAID, by its nature, requires 2 or more drives.  RAID = redundant Bay of independent (or inexpensive) disks

RAID 0 is the worst of the different RAID choices.  It increases the performance of hard disk by spreading or striping, data on two disks so that he can read and write more quickly. Unfortunately, such a picture offers no protection of data - in fact, it increases the chances of loss of data since the failure of a disk in the array results in the loss of all data on both drives. RAID 0 configurations are standard on high-end and PCs graphics games and provide a performance gain measurable, albeit modest for games, graphics applications and other programs intense from the hard drive.

In view of the foregoing, the best course of action for you and your parents is to take the computer to a local computer professional - not a type of place BigBoxStoreUSA or GeekSquad.

you get a splash screen on startup with an acer for hp dell etc. or the logo of the motherboard

otherwise, it would seem that you have a hardware problem

MY VAIO LAPTOP(VGN-CR353) RANDOMLY STOPS AND TAKES MORE TIME TO START. SOMETIMES IT STOP WHEN STARTING

It seems that the laptop may be overheating.  Are you sure there is enough air past for laptop?  Make sure that it is on a flat surface, with nothing to obstruct the ventilation openings.  Make sure that the vents and fans and heat sinks are free from dust - examine their blowing with compressed air (power of the system first, of course).  Depending on the laptop model, it may be relatively easy to blow off the dust with compressed air, or otherwise clean up things a bit.   Fans should be kept up well - only no right turn when being ripped off.  My Dell laptop has a removable fan (two small screws need to be removed) that can easily be blown.  This also allows access to the fins of the heatsink.

Some laptops also have a removable filter that traps the dust and must be regularly inspected and cleaned.

Are all the BIOS settings for the adjustment of the temperature, the value lower than the manufacturer's recommendations and the default values (you need to check the manual of your laptop for this).  Also make sure you run the latest version of BIOS (again, the manual of your laptop would have the details; the manufacturer's website should also have this information).

  • I see a "_" between the BIOS and the screens of multiple starts

I have an Intel system (DH67CL / i5 - 2500 k) runs a triple-boot (don't ask) with HP W-7, Bus of Vista and W - 7 Pro 64-bit.  Every now and then I see a '_' for a long period of time I see the BIOS screen, but before I see the selection of multiboot screen.  Yesterday, the "_" displayed for about a minute.  I really thought that my system was toast, but then the multiboot screen finally showed.

And when I say '_' it's a totally black screen with the exception of a single blinking "_" showing at the top left of the screen.

I made a mistake in the installation of three BONES, so I was forced to go back and reinstall Vista after that others have been loaded.  Then, I used EasyBCD to correct the boot order.

My theory is that W - 7 and Vista have rather different start Chargers and the last of them, loaded in a multiboot environment is one that will be used on a daily basis.  Since I messed up and loaded Vista changed, the Vista boot loader is used.  And given that Vista is not a large BONE, it has some problems, which is my strangeness "_".

My theory is valid?  Do you think I can eliminate my long display "_" simply reinstall one of the W-7 operating system and using EasyBCD to set the boot order?

Feel free to direct me to a Microsoft Web page, where the boot process is explained.

PS past diagnoses of memory RAM.  My diet is grossly overpowered, this power is not a problem.

I see that on a number of computers.  In my opinion, that you get this when the system is an analysis of all of the devices until Windows starts to load.  For Vista and Windows 7 both use the BCD for starting, I doubt if it's a problem, but you can still boot from a Windows 7 installation disc or repair the disk and do a repair.  If there is a problem starting, that should fix it.

    Good luck.
