• Why doesn't iTunes add music from my computer to the library?

  To the best of my knowledge, new versions of iTunes cannot read MIDI files.  Older versions of iTunes relied on QuickTime to handle the lunch, but QuickTime is part of iTunes.

  If you want to try one last thing, you can drag a MIDI file your automatically add to iTunes folder to see what is happening.  On my machine, it ends up in the not added folder and does not appear in the library.

  for example if we have a table emp (without any unique constraint defined) with the emp_id, emp_name and dept columns
  and entire duplicate as lines below:

  I'm not sure what you mean by "Comparing the individual columns", but there are several ways to identify duplicates.

  And here's one:

  I don't think you can change that setting via AppleScript, however once you have enabled then the XML file will be generated and updated every time that the library is updated.

  In iTunes read information, check if the Album artist and artist fields are the same for all three.  They could also show as part of the compilation with different artists in each of them, and this is why they appear separately.

  iTunes will include songs in albums according to these rules:

  • the titles have identical values for the Album and artist, or
  • the titles have identical values for the Album and Album artist, or
  • the titles have identical values for the Album and the "Part of a Compilation" flag is set for each of them

  For cases where an album has a main artist and a few songs with other artists, its usually best to follow the second rule above, giving the name of the main interpreter Album artist - which means that the album will be as well to sort and be stored in your media records alongside other albums by the same artist.

  I use the calendar app in my iPhone 5 c with iOS 9.2 to sync my Google calendar with five subcalendars.  They are all fine synchronization, for the most part.  When I create a new event on my iPhone, the event appears on my Google calendar in a few seconds.  It is ok.

  HOWEVER, if I edit the event on my iPhone to one subcalendar to another, and then a SECOND EVENT soon appears on my Google Calendar.

  This behavior does not occur with calendar on my Mac running 10.11.2.  Can I change the subcalendars for an event over and over again, and my Google Calendar follows perfectly.

When I add an event on my calendar to the iPhone, then change to another calendar (I have a few calendars different iCloud defined), it shows as 2 tests: one in each calendar. I tried to delete a. They were BOTH deleted. I was able to recreate the scenario once, but so is not not new.
