SPA8000
Hi Hello
Can I use 2 or 3 SPA8000 to get analogue extensions with a UC560?
We need to connect 20 extensions...

Hola Jonathan;
If you need to connect to 20 extensions the best option would be a VG224 (24 ports). SPA8000 would work but be aware that test (and support) has covered only 1 SPA8000 per system.

I have just connected a SPA8000 in system samsung PBX, sometimes when an external call is suspended until all first ladies of PBX, signal interruption and does not release the line. He wears what there is no lines available. Phone system will be out of line if the internal phone hangs up first or after about 20 minutes, or I unplug this line. I just tried the CPC delay adjustment to 3 seconds as a work-around, so the internal person will normally hang up first. We have done a couple of these spa8000s before and never had this problem before.
I tried these settings from the post below, and it doesn't seem to work
CPC Delay = 1
CPC duration = 0.001
http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/Linksys/board/message?board.ID=VoIP_Adapters&thread.ID=6378
I would really appreaciate any help with this thank you
Thank you, it seems to be properly now. I kept just increase the CPC until he started work. He has always had problems to 0.5 but seems to work correctly (so far) when the term of the CPC is set to 0, 8
Final settings are:
Late CPC = 3
CPC duration = 0.8Thank you

SPA8000 GPON sip GPON del oneway speech
I have SPA8000 with 6 SIP PBX lines. Call SIP GPON to speech always way Del GPON. So that SIP SIP, SIP to PSTN, everything ok. This problem is on version 6.1.10 while 5.10.1 is ok. PL inform what establishes the difference between these two versions. All the 6 SIP lines have oneway speech.
This could be block ports by your router firewall. I could recommend to transfer ports UDP 5060-5061 and UDP 16384-16391. And also, you can activate the NAT mapping and NAT keep by DOSB with an account recorded live on

How to delay identification of the appellant on SPA8000
Is there a way to delay the delivery of the identification of the appellant on the SPA8000? I need it to be delivered between the 1st and 2nd ring. I can listen to it delivered before my rings of the telephone system. He made a strange ring (instead of beep) and the identification of the appellant, then my system starts ringing.
In my view, it is impossible to delay identification of the appellant, although I do not know if the latest firmware can do. I suggest you contact the technology support Cisco greater focus on your concerns. In my view, that this unit is part of serial company Cisco devices now supports. Try going to this link for other devices of the series business and the site where you can get your hands on Cisco for support:

On (SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T) subnet mask
I intend to buy several Linksys products: SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T.
In the past, I had a problem with the restriction in the netmask on the other Linksys WRT54GR product (I can't put the mask of 255.255.0.0 subnet, but only of 255.255.255.0).
Has anyone used / know SPA400, SPA8000, PAP2T... are they allow to define the subnet mask 255.255.0.0?
Hi vzhuravlev,
I'm not aware of any policy to restrict netmasks in our products.
I tested the products for you. I opened two CDETS against the SPA2102 and the SPA3102. They accept the 8 and 16 netmasks, but does not issue traffic if any other than a 24 mask is applied.

LaserJet 400 m401dn: HP Laserjet 400 m401dn, make wireless?
Is it possible to buy a product to make the Laserjet 400 m401dn active wifi or is this product already activated? The internet router is in another place, so a physical connection is not possible. I would like the capability configure the SSID, etc. to connect and print. Thank you.
> Laserjet 400 m401dn wifi active or is this product already activated?
The m401dn is a model of printer Dmodel Network (wire) connected. The active WiFi model would be a M401dw , that would be the model Dand Wwireless.
However, if you create a connection to your router via a wired Ethernet connection and then the printer would be accessible by wireless network devices. All you need to do is get the printer on the network.
> internet router is in a different location so a physical connection is not possible.
The only options you have are to run a new cable at the location of the printer and Ethernet cable connect with the current hardware.
Otherwise you would seek to create a 'bridge' between the printer and the router wireless network using a router without wire 2. Configure the wireless router 2 to act as a client or to fill in the primary wireless router that acts as the main Point of access to the network. Once the 2nd wireless router is filled in elementary school all the devices that are connected to Router 2 will be accessible from the main access point.
There are guides out there circulating that walks you through this process, but the specific steps will have to come some 2nd router manufacturer, you can decide to experiment.
Here is a sample of Cisco support article that calls this "Cascade" procedure one router to another:

Question of time ring 8000 SPA
I have about 6 SPA8000 deployment, and I encountered a very strange problem.
"Each line only will sound for 60 seconds, and then it sends back a ' 480 temporarily unavailable" message and disconnects the call.
I can't find anywhere in the configuration or administration guide, or commissioning guide where I can increase the duration of this call, preferably in the ring forever.
It is RingN cadence on the first screenshot. All except Ring1 & Ring5 are defined in 60 seconds. Ring1 have a length of 180seconds, Ring5 just a second only.
I don't know which ring is chosen for the call in question - the default ring can be set on the line configuration page. Or special ring can be requested on ad-hoc by incoming call INVITE.
The Script of Cadence has a special test patterns, for example 60 (.2/.2,.4/.4). In this example, the script of cadence model can be explained as follows.
- 60 (.2/.2,.4/.4) represents a section of cadence.
- 60 represents the length of the ring with respect to the latter, * Bay used here to express infinite.
- .2/.2,.4/.4 are the two segments.
- A segment (.2/.2) represente.2us for ringtones to turn on et.2us for turning off ringtones and two segments for ringtones represente.4s (.4/.4) turn on, goes .4s for ringtones.

The easiest way to support the call between the ports of SPA-8000 and 2 GWs?
My group of Silicon Labs is interested by using several SPA-8000 s to configure the VoIP impairment test systems for use with our data and fax modems. (Coincidentally, ports FXS SPA-8000 use our devices Si3215 SLIC). The SPA-8000 s will not interface with an ITSP or PSTN, but we do not have a deficiency of external network device (Shunra VE unit), we will use to undermine statistically VoIP packets.
I saw the note of analog, IP/PBX solution phone app, but I like to keep installation as simple as possible (i.e. use only 8000 s-SPA without a SPA-9000). It is possible to make calls to port - au port uses only the SPA-8000 and an external router (i.e. without an ITSP or SIP server)? The SPA Administration Guide - 8000 stipulates that FXS-to-FXS connectivity is possible using an IP router controlling crossed, but provides no specific information. Can you recommend a Cisco/Linksys router that allows this?
Thank you
Bob Giaraffa
Dear Sir;
This is possible. All you have to do is connect the two SPA8000 to a router that provides IP addresses. Easier configuration, each SPA8000 WAN IP address to static.
On each device, all you have to do is:
-[Line x] appeal without reg Yes
-[Line x] years call without reg toYES
-Define a (digital) user id - this is what the other pty faces
-On the defined proxy ip_address:port the FXS port to the other device that you want to set the line (it's one by one). First port is 5060, 5061 second and so forth...

Hello
I am trying to deploy a UC520/SPA8000 pour usage of 3 DECT phones.
I followed the documentation pour a SPA8000 with UN UC520 Integration
My DECT phones come calling to the outside and to internal phones but on the other hand I can't call my DECT internally I falls directly on the e-mail.
If I turn off the messaging that rings busy.
I've done the same Deployment at United Nations another customer without problem.
The difference is that the previous customer USE of T0 and LUN there use a SDSL/Sip connection at OpenIp.
Would you have an idea
Thank you
Gregory
Hi Gregory,
The only thing I can tell you, I did once a migration of a CME that turns on a 2801.
On East past two two T0 to a BIV Orange that virtual the T0 emule (it's the Orange room router which transforms the signal T0 en IP pour out their voice network).
When we did the rocker we had trouble with incoming and outgoing calls.
It turns out that we have the add commands on the 2801 BRI interfaces:
interface BRI0/0/0
no ip address
basic-net3 ISDN switch type
ISDN point - to point-setup
ISDN incoming-voice
ISDN k 7
ISDN send-complete
Info-transfer-ability of outgoing voice ISDN 3,1 kHz audio
ISDN tei static 0
Idem pour interface BRI0/0/1
Hoping that cel can maybe help you
Greetings
