"root cause found: C:\tmel.sys boot critical file is corrupt."

Please and thank you.

Hello

Startup Repair works often from an Installation of Windows 7 or Windows 7 disc
ERD when it does not value or a recovery disc. If necessary
How a Windows 7 repair disk is below. An ERD can be made
on any computer with a CD burner running Windows 7, Vista or XP because it uses

You can try some of them in Mode safe - tap F8 repeatedly that you start.

If you do not have a Windows 7 disc, you can borrow a friends who are not

you already have windows. You can also do an ERD on another computer.

Try the Startup Repair - (if at ANY time benefit you from some, but not full access to the Windows)

    Hello

    ·         How have you tried to do system restore?

I recommend you to restore system using a Windows Vista DVD.

    Here's how:

To open the Options menu system recovery using a system repair disc or a Windows Vista installation disc

If your system is damaged and cannot access the menu system on your computer Recovery Options, you can access it using the Windows Vista installation disc or a system repair disc previously.

To use this method, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the disk.
    1 insert the disc.
    2. restart your computer using the power button on the computer.
    3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.
If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer.

    4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    5. If you are using the Windows installation disc, click on repair your computer.
    6. Select the Windows installation you want to repair, and then click Next.
    7. in the System Recovery Options menu, click a tool to open it.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro hangs at startup: runtime error - please help

I have CS4 from Adobe installed on my Windows 7 PC. In addition, I have Adobe Reader XI and InDesign installed 6. If I remember correctly, after that I installed Adobe Reader XI, I uninstalled the version of the player that came with CS4.

So here's my problem: when I try to download a PDF file that was sent to me in an email or open one that already exists on my computer, in this case:

    Runtime error!

    Program: C...

The application requested execution to terminate in an unusual way.

When I click OK, I get this:

Adobe Acrobat 9.0 has stopped working.

If I try Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro in my Start menu, the same thing happens.

It makes no sense for me because

    1. I don't have the knowledge to understand this. I don't know what is the duration.
    2. Before a computer collapse a few months ago and a complete reinstallation of everything that these programs all works beautifully.
    3. I do not understand why, when I try to open a PDF file by e-mail, they open automatically in Adobe Reader XI rather than Adobe Acrobat. The general idea that people is not being in a position open and view PDFs sent, of which they were sent, which is what the reader is for and generally do not change them, that's what Adobe Acrobat is for?
    4. If, instead of trying to open the PDF files by e-mail, I save them on my computer, I can launch Adobe Reader XI and open within the program without any problem. It's OK, if I just need to view the PDF file, but I have to be able to edit a PDF file also, so I need to get Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to work.

Relocation of Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro help? Is it possible to reinstall only from the program installation diskettes or have to reinstall CS4 entirely?

I can't open Adobe Acrobat 9.0 at all, for all the solutions that must be made when the program is opened are not possible.

I would really appreciate the help.

Here is the message in question, but until you try it, read my post below:

    Hello

This is known problem with Acrobat for several versions now, current fix from Adobe is just to update their software: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404597.html

The problem is with the data of application given erroneous instructions.

"The affected user has a folder Application Data redirected and so the path to the network that contains the Application data uses a UNC path that begins with \. "This UNC path causes Acrobat 9.0 and Adobe Reader 9.0 incorrectly analyzes the Application data path and give the error message.

A possible Solution would be to go into the registry. Left click type 'regedit' and right-click and run the program with "run as Administrator". Go to Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders and make sure see where pointing "AppData". If it is oriented towards 'data %UserProfile%/Application' change it to point to '% UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming '.

BUT, be careful of one thing: this poster seems to have used accidentally oblique when he should have used backslashes. Look at the last line of his post where he advises ' if it points to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change to point to '% UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming'. '. You can find, or at least I did, that this key has a backslash, not a slash, so change what I found: "%UserProfile%\Application Data" "% UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" worked and now Acrobat 9.0 works very well.

  • Windows Vista repair boot loop - please help.

    Hello

I had trouble with my laptop startup and having the dreaded loop of the Startup Repair. It started last night and I did everything I could to get it to allow me to connect on the long desk, enough to get my files, but there all come without result. I am now on my attempt 67th to get startup repair and desperately need help. My only problem is, is I have not backed up my files both needs so I can't do a full restore of the PC. Call me stupid, because I already know that I am.

I already tried the three security modes, the last good configuration known and all the rest on the list of F8, but also contact Toshiba support, but none of them has nothing to help me. I did the whole thing from the CHKDSK, but she came back everything was clean, much like the Startup Repair tool says that there is 1 origin but he can't find not and comes up with the error code 0x0. I do not have a re-temperament of OS disc either and nor do I live near a "Geek Squad" of any kind. In addition, I can't restore my computer to an earlier point.

I am at my wits end and very close to burst into tears because I can't get my laptop to work and I think my only option I have left is to do a complete restore of the PC, and I REALLY don't want to do that. My life is on my computer and I feel so stupid for it backs do not. This will definitely a lesson to be learned.

My computer is a model of Toshiba Satellite L355D with windows SP2 and Vistax32bit.

Please help me, and if this issue is resolved, then, I will be eternally grateful.

    Thank you for your time,

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

I ran the upgrade of windows (84 files) and restarted the pc, checking upgrade again and he said updated service pack 1 or SP1 so I start making level and after a long time its still shows the installation but the icon in the lower right shows 100% so I clicked on cancel and then restarted the pc.

Now Im getting a Startup Repair error box that search startup errors but says "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically. My options are 'Send info on this problem (recommended)' or 'do not send' if I click it scans a second and then the box goes away leaving the 1st box of error described above.

I tried the system restore (which does not affect any of my files, documents, etc..) Then he said: choose a restore point that I want to use, but the only option is the 31/05/2011 install Windows Vista Service Pack 1... then I go ahead and try it and it says it will restart my pc and apply the changes. Hello

Not having the system restore, you can try a different restore point and check. If the problem persists, then you must try a startup repair and system restore boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista.

You can try to disconnect all the external devices (except keyboard and mouse) and tries to boot from the disk and check.

Added new hardware, updated drivers to date (don't forget to check in Control Panel - Windows Updates - pilot
updates), or add key software lately? Pilots and security/antivirus/antispyware products are also likely
suspects. Next message is my generic driver updated methods to use when you get to this section of the
    troubleshooter.

You can access Mode without fail - repeatedly press F8 as you start - last good configuration or system restore known?

    Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

    Solve the problem

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
    3. In the Windows Advanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

    1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
    2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
    3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
    5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
    6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

  • HP Pavilion g4-2235dx Notebook PC stuck on auto repair for a month now... Please help...

so my laptop HP Pavilion g4-2235dx product number: C3Q50UA has been slain in automatic mode of repair for like a month now... it goes not far than this screen... the day it happened first I booted up & it real quickly flashed a blue screen that says my computer needs to reboot so itll restart itself for me then it rebooted & went to the screen hp for 10-15 minutes , then went to the automatic preparation of repair screen for about 2 hours, then the screen comes to have dark & remained like that all night... the next day I turned off the laptop & started again & it would be on the screen hp for a long time & id farm & turn on again, then he would start, restart itself then go to auto repair. If I stop it on the page of sutomatic repair then it would be just cranking up the hp screen & nothing else but if id shut down on the hp screen & turn it back on go to repair automatic page... back & suite back & rear returns & suite for days... Finally once a week or so, I gave up... i left on the page of auto repair for about 2 days directly plugged in so he would die just in case he might just need more time but 2 days was too long so I finally unplugged it & left on this page until the battery is dead & haven't touched since... Ive read some of the other posts on the loop of auto repair & what to do, but I don't want to lose all my stuff on the laptop as my images/videos(thought i saved them to skydrive but apparently i didn't complete the whole process to access my stuff from another windows 8 device)... I bought the used laptop & the warranty has already expired... any installation of windows 8 flash disk/drive. I have no recovery disk. so I have no way to replace my OS or recover my data that are already on this laptop... is there something I can do to get out of this dealie loop of auto repair without an installation/recovery disk/flash drive?

You'll need a Windows 8 rescue flashdisk, HP usb recovery media or disk recovery in order to access the safe mode and the Startup Repair. The cost of a recovery of HP USB is not that much to around $ 30.00 USD. You can also ask a friend or relative whose computer has the same BONE to make a recovery of Windows 8 key for you.

If you want to recover data from the hard disk before performing any repairs more, then you will need to remove the hard drive. You have the choice to start the installation in a usb enclosure, using a usb cable to power\sata or install temporarily to with a sata available on a desktop at home.

Hard drive appears to be faulty.

It seems that you have current backups, so you should be able to recover if the drive completely fails.

Run disk utility to repair the disk and also check the SMART State.

When a player starts to falter, it is almost certain, it will fail. There is really no cover failures of IO because it indicates that the player no longer has the ability to remap bad blocks.

If you have AppleCare, you can probably still get it replaced. However, they are fairly cheap these days and quite easy to replace yourself.

    Juan8

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

According to the page of the product HP for your PC, it came not with preinstalled Win10.  THIS means that you have done the upgrade to Win10.

While Microsoft says there is no risk in the upgrade of Win10, because they allow you to believe that you can always return to your BONES and the original installation program within 30 days, the ugly fact of the matter is that the Win10 GoBack feature turned out to be unreliable - and when she fails, she can let machines in a State corrupted - that does not always happen , but it happens often enough to be a problem and you will get no warning beforehand that he goes to the trash your PC!

If this is not enough, the Win10 upgrade is known, in some cases, corrupt partition recovery stored by the OEM that built the original machine. It's pretty much guarantee that no HP recovery will work.

The problem you mentioned is usually due to one of two basic problems:
    (1) defective hard drive
    (2) damaged/missing bootloader files

As to the first, please follow the instructions in this link to test your hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If that confirms that your drive has failed, then you will need to replace it.  Please report back if this is the case.

As for the second, you need access to a PC for this phase of work in order to create the necessary support to fix your PC boot loader.

Once you have that, please download and create the Win10 installation media from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

Note that when you download and build install media, the default tool corresponding to what is already installed on your PC (as in home for the House, and 64-bit to 64 - bit).  While you CAN change these settings, are NOT. If you do, the media that results will be different and will force you to enter a NEW product code.

Boot from the media that you have created and follow the instructions in this link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-windows-10-a.html

You will need to go to the Advanced Options screen and click on startup repair.  You will probably need to run Startup Repair three times for him to fix all the boot loader.

Once completed, your PC should start OK.

    Good luck
