  Go to your Lightroom preferences, performance tab, uncheck the option of the graphics processor.

  I use Lightroom 1.4.1 from a CS4 installation.

  I know it's old, but it works for my case, so no need to pay for an upgrade so far.
  

  I'm shooting with a Nikon Df RAW images.  And no matter if I shoot just RAW or RAW + JPEG.

  My camera creates a NEF file.

  I then use Adobe DNG Converter to convert the file to DNG.

  I then import the DNG in Lightroom.

  My Lightroom preferences include 'none' to develop the parameters when importing.

  When I view the imported file in the Panel to the POINT, there are some basic settings that have been applied.

  Temp, tinted, blacks, brightness, contrast.

  Certainly, the image is "prettier" with these adjustments, and surely I can come back to '0' settings if I want to see the image of 'RAW', but that the of is happening here and how can I have the image start with no adjustment?

  If he hit the "RESET" button, it returns it to these adjustments.  Confusing.

  Once back to zero in the development module access to the develop menu item and search for "set default settings." A click on it. That puts the default settings for this camera images to all zeros for all newly imported images. In regards to the already imported image, you could try to synchronize and or copy it to all others.

  Hi, I have a weird problem and it is very difficult to explain but I'll try :-) I have a Macbook and a profiled secondary monitor connected to a better view of how the image will be once developed. I just noticed (as I only started using the secondary monitor) in the standard display, once I started to edit a picture to develop, and then return to the view of the magnifying glass and then back to the point, the image on the secondary monitor the same poster for a second or two and then deteriorates. Becomes very grainy. If I may return to the Magnifier see it smooth. At first I thought it was because Lightroom uses FIRST data to compile standard preview to develop as opposed to a predefined preview (1680 high in my case) to Magnifier see, and module development was obviously providing a view more precise - but is not a more accurate view, as when I go 1:1 the image is smooth and not gritty.

  To illustrate, lets say, I choose an image I have edited before, the view is the same in the two modules initially, but as soon as I change the image somehow develop the preview is deteriorating. Once again I have a degraded on screen, standard display, overview to develop the module. If I flip and then in another image that the image is smooth for a second or two and then deteriorates too - you can see it happen! If I can change the image while develop, then I'll be back at the sight of the magnifying glass, the image degrades again, but then if I stay for the magnifying glass and go 1:1 the secondary monitor (which always displays standard preview) picks up the change and shows a smooth accurate detailed view.

  It is very weird but does not mean that it use Lightroom for serious editing is not possible because I can't trust the preview (unless I continue to chip away at return to the loupe mode!) except at the 1:1 that any knows that with a 14Mp camera is so great that you can not get a glimpse of what you are doing. 1:1 is really useful for sharpening and noise reduction. Please note: it is not visible when minor changes are made, but I often convert my images n & B with split toning and when you do this and say shoot the blue mix sliders until the definition of heaven increase (which can introduce artifacts) degradation is severe - but as I said that is not true or real 1:1 view shows nice tone smooth variation. I've rebuilt previews to match the resolution of my screen bigger, deleted the preview files, do not know what else to do except forget using the bigger than the effect monitor is much more visible on this! I have attached files (which I hope, download OK I couldn't listen to samples) showing the problem. If anyone else has this problem, I would be very interested to hear about it!

  Yes, noise reduction seems to apply to all levels of view made through 1:1 in Beta LR4 library and develop modules. Compare beta images processed with LR4 below from the same image posted above on August 12, 2011:

  I do not use DVD or CD more - for the most part, torn from my PC and streaming via WMP on my PS3/TV

  but uses WMP ID tags where date and/or filename if not - that seems messy

  Tri-pour those who have the same problem - I used Windows to remove the ID tags

  Open the window containing the media files > search * to reveal all the files (save you open folders one at a time)
  Folder view > Details
  Right-click on the column details bar / > more >
  
  Add the 'title' column (this will display the titles (tags) > OK)
  Sort by title window will consolidate all the videos that have set the title/tags
  Select all video files with titles
  Right click > properties > Details >
  
  Choose "Remove properties and personal information" > OK
  
  Choose "remove after this file properties.
  Check "Title" (multiple values) - careful not to tick/delete other important tags
  Ok
  Take a few minutes depending on the number of files
  Sorted
  WMP shows now all my media by filename

  We are doing some tasks to meet the PCI DSS requirements. One of them is preventing the schema owner to log in using development tools (TOAD, sqlplus, plsqldev, SQL Developer...). I found a solution here:

  But as comment said, if we change the name of the .exe file, we can easily connect. I thought to do info = module, no program info. I tried with no success. I read somewhere that in after logon, the client info trigger is not set completely. So that we can't get info module exactly after logon trigger (I tried and I have seen this module was same as program interviewed since the session$ v).

  Another comment suggested that we allow some programs to connect instead of refuse many unauthorized tools. I think it is a good idea. But I wonder if some guys know rename tool dev as our authorized tools and it can connect.

  If anyone has any ideas or solutions, please help me. Thank you.

  One solution is to use two schemas - detail a. has no privs assigned to it (not even CREATE SESSION), but contains all of the objects (tables, indexes, views, code, etc.). Diagram B does not all objects, but given privileges to operate on the objects belongs to priv a. withdrawal CREATE SESSION from scheme a scheme b (in for example Prod) will achieve your requirement.

  If you want to sort descending dimension a way to do is to add more in 'appname.refinement_config.xml '.

  Note Please Whenever you have the pipeline in the developer studio this mapping is deleted, you must add it again before running the base line.

  I had a Mac in the summer, but subsequently discovered that software Mac (iPhoto & Apperture) stores the images in a library owner rather than update the JPEG files on the hard drive. This makes it useless to me because I need to share files with Windows PCs, which means all the work done on the Mac it is lost (I know that I can export all images changed individually, but it is unfeasable). The lock-in Mac means also the backups are useless, because you need a Mac to read in the library of Apperture saved.

  While hoping that Lightroom is easier to use and allows you to share images on the platforms.

  Or you can export the complete catalogue on an external drive and place it between the computers.  The catalog file is on the external hard drive, and all you have to do is double-click on it.

  Highlighting multiple photos and clicking on it did not work for me, if I can get it to work on a single photo at a time.

  Method 1:

  1. Go to the develop module
  2. Select the photos in the camera roll.
  3. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the Sync button. He turns to auto sync.
  4. Now, whatever you do develop apply to all photos.
  5. Click on auto sync once more to turn off autosynching.

  Method 2:

  1. The display of the grid of Goto.
  2. Select the photos.
  3. Press Ctrl + U.

  In the dialog box Preferences, performance tab, try to disable the use of the GPU and see if that stops the noise.
