• Impossible to win 8 pro on thinkpad twist

  I just bought a twist thinkpad with windows 8 and windows 8 pro pack bought separately. However installation pro gets 15% and fails. Same problem with lenovo yoga 11-13 the yoga people. Microsoft technical support has not been able to reach a soluion. Someone here similar question? All solutions?

  Press the windows at metro screen logo now press s now click right on parameters now select the icon to change the settings of PC now much less change in the right corner now select PC settings on the screen, select general tab you will now see a section called touch keyboard with options to play the main sounds like type move switch OFF ot. Press the windows logo to return to the subway.

  Can anyone confirm if I purhcase the twist with i7, Intel HD 4000 and Intel Centrino 2200 BGN WiFi (not the Lenovo ABGN), I'll be able to use WiDi?

  For those who have not ordered a WWAN card in their original config is the WWAN antenna pre-installed on the screen or not?

  My model came with the SSD, so the location where it is usually an mSATA cache is empty and there is the possibility to install the WWAN card. I took the keyboard and can see the empty slot, but there are no cables to the WWAN antenna only those for the WLAN that are already connected to the wireless network card.

  I can understand the configuration of my X 220.

  MPCIe slot which would be installed the WWAN card is empty, and as you describe in your turn, there is no only antenna cables in the region. My machine has been configured and sold as no WWAN-extensible, to my knowledge, which means no antennas. Configured and sold as WWAN-stretch models have wires installed and went into the appropriate area near the slot (not hidden in the screen), so that all that is needed is a WWAN FRU approved card.

• ThinkPad Twist battery drains to almost zero recharge to 50% and then again (repetitions) releases

  I upgraded to win 8.1 (RTM) last night in the Windows store. I noticed the above behavior (see subject line) when my PC turns off with battery RC alert even if it was connected to the power supply with power all the time by using the otiginal AC adapter. It does not load past 50% never.

  I uninstalled dependencies of parameters Lenovo package because it would not let me adjust battery settings at all, and I uploaded as 8.1 Lenovo Win and installed. (grsd22ww package 1.3.0.22 has published 26/09/2013). This allowed me to see certain parameters of the battery, but I do not know that the old setting for the maintenance of the battery life had disappeared. I can only adjust waiting 30 days (on) and stretching to battery (off).

  This is quite annoying because I want to take the PC off ac use mobile, but it is not cool enough for the job real network! Help, please.

  I put a big power adapter on it (a 90 W Lenovo Slimline one, rather than the 65W one) and now the machine costs at 100% and remained there for the night. Yes, problem solved. I guess that my 1.5 external USB 3.0 to attached disk backup could have been a factor? Don't really know, because it had never been a problem before.

  It's an i7, but because it's a ULV processor you are dealing with an iGPU which has standard lower than an i7 CPU clocks of office or even mobile. With lower clocks just more low scores.

  That being said, WEI is not a good way to judge performance... in fact using the PC will give you a gauge better performance of the system as WEI. If it moves fast enough for you, and it does everything you want that, do not take into account WEI.

  I just bought a Thinkpad twist (s230u). My first Lenovo, beautiful machine! It came with 4 GB of RAM; When I bought it, I knew that I would upgrade it to 8 as soon as POSSIBLE. I hear the Lenovo support that the RAM is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. Did someone knows something to the contrary. I see that there are the icons at the bottom of the unit which seem to indicate RAM located under the keyboard and saw system utilities reporting a single DIMM location. I'm not sure I can live with 4 GB of RAM in Windows 8.

  Yes, ram is welded and cannot be upgraded on the twisting of ThinkPad.
