It's a long shot I know, but the 40 GB of HARD disc that came with the laptop only leave me little room after installation of Vista.

  I imagine that the laptop was equipped with a HDD slot at the bottom of the unit and you have to delete only one screw to remove the small cache connector HARD drive. Am I wrong?
  So in this case the upgrade of components such as the memory or the HARD drive will not avoid the warranty.

  If your copy of Vista came pre-installed with your PC, you should contact the manufacturer of your PC for replacement disks. You will find no doubt that they will charge you for the replacement and they won't be cheap.

  If you purchased your copy of Vista in a store you will be normal should have the purchase receipt or proof of purchase (I guess a credit card statement would be sufficient, but I'm not sure).   Have you tried to go into Add/Remove programs and try uninstalling it? Commando can have its own uninstall program, try to go into all programs and find the program it and see if there is an uninstall is there, you can click.
