Suddenly be "does not work Windows genuine.

On a Windows 7 machine that I bought the news about 4 years ago, I suddenly started having a context menu Windows Activation Technologies telling me "this computer is not running genuine Windows. Suspecting that it is maybe a virus, since I had certainly authentic Windows on this machine, I ran Malwarebytes. He finds and said to her deleted, a Trojan horse named tr/dropper.Gen... but I always get the pop-up window.

I ran MGADiag. And I see there are some lines that say "corrupt file". Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium - "does not work Windows genuine" pop up

My Windows 7 Home Premium has been installed, activated and working perfectly for the past 18 months. I've been on the last few days PF, make popup windows telling me "this computer is not running genuine Windows" (0x8004fe21). This is obviously false because I bought the upgrade directly from Microsoft in November 2011 and it has been fine.

When I click "Pay online now", the Microsoft site runs a quick scan and then points me to a download page of Windows 7 for £75.

I have already tried to get the license key, restart the laptop, launching an update of Windows and reboot again - all to nothing does and I still get seriously irritating popup.

Any ideas why this has suddenly started happening and how to fix it?

    Any suggestions gratefully thanks received.

Try to activate Windows 7 by phone, post back with the results.

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
    (2) press the ENTER"" key.
    (3) select your "country" in the list.
    (4) choose the option "activate phone".
    (5) stay on the phone * do not select/press any option * and wait for a person to help you.
    6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.
    (7) the person must give you a confirmation ID, copy it down on paper,
    (8) check that the ID is correct in reading the support person.
    (9) to enter the ID number, then click 'Next' to complete the activation process.

  • Does not work Windows genuine' with a 0x8004fe21 error code

    Separated from this thread.

Gerry, I have the same problem described by Joachim and rvc2.  It began with me after KB3004394 has been installed on 10 December.  KB3024777 has been installed on 13 December, but I still get the pop up saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows" with an 0x8004fe21 error code.

Updates appear in the history of update of review, but do not appear in the installed updates.

I also have a Dell machine and this is certainly a legitimate copy of Windows 7 (64-bit SP1) with the product code for Windows under the battery cover.

    Any solution yet?

    Kind regards
    Dermo

  • Repeated Ox8004fe21 calls 'does not work windows genuine' even though I am.

Because of this common windows error shared by many others, I'm unable to receive windows updates and I don't know where to find the tool of diagnosis to begin to solve this problem.

    Click on the ORB start

in the search box, type installed updates

Click on the link found for "view installed updates".

Wait for the window to find all updates (may take a minute or two)

In the search box, type KB3004394

You should get a response (what date it was installing on?)

Select the entry, and then click on uninstall.

    Hello

Your Windows passes genuine validation? If your activation session has expired and that windows did not pass the validation, it will not show any visual effect such as background noise, themes etc. It will only show a black screen and at the bottom right of the screen you can see attention.

Suddenly, IncrediMail does not work properly.  I click on the message and get nowhere.  It seems that it is trying to go to IE and can not find the web page.  I searched everywhere on the internet and saw where others had the same problem, but I can't find the fix.  One person suggested it be referred to Microsoft as a "failed to open local html file with IE' problem."  I guess maybe that's a problem with the registry, but do not know how to fix it.

  • HP 15 laptop: wifi does not work windows 8.1

I have Windows installed pro 8.1. I was using wifi on this laptop, it worked fine. However, recently, I see that the Wifi does not work although he shows me the SSID of my network I used to use and also the SSID of the networks of neighbors. (It means that the wifi on laptop chip is capable of scanning the wifi signals and so it works). The same router from which all other Mobile tablets, my home laptop work are able to connect to the wifi network. Only on this laptop I am facing this problem. What may be a solution or what I should try. I tried the steps listed here http://www.fixedbyvonnie.com/2013/10/how-to-fix-limited-or-no-connectivity-wi-fi-issues-in-windows-8...

Although I have not changed the default settings only steps above on blog, I tried to solve the problem. However, it did not work. Also keys function + F12 on laptop has no effect. The light on the F12 key is always on. However, it is possible to toggle the wifi in the bar of Windows 8.1 charms.

    What should I check?

I bought an external USB wifi device that solved the problem.  The card wifi on laptop works well, but for some unknown reason, he is not able to connect to home wifi router. http://www.snapdeal.com/product/leoxsys-150-Mbps-Nano-WiFi/1179610?utm_source=earth_feed&utm_campaign=TopPerformersPLAScaling3000&utm_medium=CPC&utm_content=1179610&utm_term=, & campaignid = 350311165 & 28373951005 = adgroupid & adposition = 1o1 & network = g & device = c & targetid = pla-55251503741

Not a good sign that it does not work on another computer. Go to control panel > devices and printers. If the keyboard doesn't appear as an installed device, think of it as dead and buried.

Original title: HP ENVY Phoenix PC 810

I just put my new computer today and there is no sound. It does not appear to be pregnant anywhere on the screen. Are supposed to be? I also tried to plug the headphones into the top port of the Tower, and still there is no sound! Help, please. I paid a computer person to install this feature for me, now I'm worried, I'll have to return this machine and be the money that I paid for the help in setting this up.

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

    Just a few questions first, to get a clear picture of the issue;

    1. Do you see a "Red X" mark on the volume icon in "Notification tray"?
    2. Did you make any changes after you set up your PC?

This problem may occur if one or more are true.

    • Hardware failure.
    • Audio drivers are not installed or disabled.

I suggest you follow the method below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Convenience store;

    1. Press Windows Logo + 'W '.
    2. In "Find", type "Troubleshooting".
    3. On the left, click "Show all" and in the list, click on 'Hardware and devices' to run the troubleshooter.

Important: After you run the troubleshooter, it is recommended to restart the computer to apply the changes.

Note: After restarting, try to listen to music and check if the issue still persists. If audio does not work, you will be invited to an "error" or "error Code". I suggest you to make note and respond to us.

  • My internal Webcam does not work (Windows 8 / PB Easynote) * help *.

I have a TE Packard Bell's Easynote running on Windows 8. It has built in webcam (a generic unit named WeCam HD). But right out of the box, whenever I run an application that needs to use the webcam, it says "no device detected Webcam. If you are using a built-in camera please turn on"or other similar term. There is absolutely nothing in the user guide/documentation to explain how to do this.

I went a little further and checked the Device Manager and there are the most recent drivers for this device all present and correct. And in some ways to make worse it, most of the time it doesn't work and it just worked last week. My son took a load of pictures of himself using the webcam internal to give me a new nice screen saver (red led light has been released top the camera was on and work) so I know that he has the opportunity to work. It's not fair. We tried to retrace his steps I guess all that I need is a key command to move the camera power switch (there is no way to access the device that I can find in windows 8). I tried fn & the keys function, Alt or Alt GR and the function keys, the windows key and all the keyboard shortcuts I know, but nothing seems to work. Please is - can someone help or give advice. It drives me crazy

I think that I finally discovered it. Well, it seems to be correct.

When you launch the video camera app or app camera for the first time as long as the laptop screen is far enough back the laptop recognizes the webcam and it turns on automatically,

If you run the application with the screen in an 'L' (side view), then it does not work, it does not recognize the webcam. But if tilt you the screen a bit more far back it seems to work.

Crazy. But maybe theres an internal sensor or something. Well now worked two times...

unless it's just a loss connection internal as Douglas says. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that this new crazy method continues to work. If that's all, that's when I'll eat my hat. I've seriously been pulling my hair out over this. Looking at / installation of hardware drivers. Research and try millions of combinations of different keys. Trawling through information about Windows 8 & webcams. And it turns out that, if all goes well, it's just something simple like this...

But thanks for your colleagues at the time. Appreciated.
