Support bi-ecrans Veriton N2620G

Greetings,

I was hoping someone might be able to answer a quick question, I have.

We hope that buying the device mentioned in the topic but need to run two monitors. I know that the device has two DVI - I and HDMI support but will it output to two monitors at all?

A press release here: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/press/2012/42821 indicates that it will, but if someone has personal experience a response would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Concerning

Liam

As you have noted, the information clearly shows that the Veriton N2620G is capable of two monitors.

    Hello

I have an Acer Veriton X4630G (Windows 7 64 bit) with a single monitor in DVI port.  Acer Chat support told me that I can't run multiple screens simultaneously with the VGA or 2 DisplayPort ports.

Anyone running at least two panels on this PC?  If so, it will work on both ports?

I'm sorry that you got the answer you did. Everything that I look, this office should be able to support a configuration dual monitor.

  • Acer Veriton N2620G/disconnect keyboard issue

We set up recently a few new Acer Veriton N2620G thin clients in our call center.  After you have configured an ICA connection, we discovered that if a user presses NumLock and Caps Lock, it disconnects the session... This can happen at any time... login screen, after that they were recorded in during some time... at any time.  We are able to reproduce this on all of our new Acer Veriton N2620G thin clients.  All our thin clients from Wyse existing work perfectly.  We used existing keyboards, we used the keyboards that accompanies the new Acer... same problem.  We configure RDP connections as a test and these function normally... they do NOT disconnect.

I chatted with the support of DeTOS (OS on the thin client) and their level 1 is zero help.  They tried to transfer me to level 2, but I received a message that they are not open at this time...

Need a video to the system driver since the video is listed as 'Standard VGA'. Did you try the fn + fx combination I suggested of keys or the key Windows + p solution?

However, the first thing we need to do is to get your system with the correct drivers installed.

Here is a link to the page of driver for Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It would be different if you have 32-bit.

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5086783&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5086782&swLang=13&TaskID=135&swEnvOID=4061

Really you need the driver and chipset driver and the driver of the quick launch area. How Windows 7 did settle on the system? This is an original image or it installed afterwards?

  • Support bi-ecrans for ProBook 4440 S

I have a laptop HP ProBook 4440 S.  I have also two monitors - one HP1740 and a HP LA2405.  I want to set up two monitors using the laptop.  The graphics card can conduct both monitors?  If so, I have to use an HDMI cable with a DVI - D connector to plug into the LA2405.  I would like to use the D-15 standard cable to connect the 1740.  If it works, I would be able to stretch the 1740 Office, or would they have to be distributed as two separate screens?

    Thank you

The ProBook s 4440 (technical Quickspecs at http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/14306_na/14306_na.pdf) can support 2 outputs video or 2 external (hdmi and vga) or LCD and 1 external. Even if HP does not support dvi hdmi adapters, they are available and seem a bit cheap, so can be purchased to test. Both hdmi and vga ports are usable

  • Acer Veriton N2620G-UC101X and no HDMI output?

Recently got the product above and when I connect it to a TV via HDMI, no signal is received in the Inbox of Acer. Running Windows 7, 64 bit. Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thank you

If this box does not have HDMI output, is there a DVI-> HDMI adapter that carries the sounds? (Wanting to use the Acer box as an XBMC client on my TV)

    Hello

If the product comes with an HDMI port, then it should be able to connect via HDMI. Have you tried other HDMI devices to see if it works? The problem may be that the TV that you connect to can't stand is not the resolution of the computer trying to exit. You never have any signal when turning on/off the N2620G?

DVI is not able to exercise sound and would be possible via HDMI.

  • VERITON N2620G Windows 8.1 failed upgrade

Stupidly, I deployed the W8 W8.1 update (within windows STORE). Seemed OK until you restart. 1 beep POST and just the LOGO of ACER screen, nothing else.  ESC to show the BIOS, but DEL and F12 option displays that "entering the program installation..." or "Please wait". I tried to disconnect the battery from the clock, setting the jumper "CLR CMOS 1'.  Still can not enter the BIOS.  Any suggestions?

disconnect the HARD drive and DVD, and then try to enter the BIOS again.

Please forgive me if it's something simple and I miss it. I have a 13 MBP with a 2nd screen connected. " I want to run my Win7x64 client on BOTH screens and Windows see two different shows (not one clone of the other).

I used view-> all use fullscreen displays, and then when I go full screen, I see from my Windows client on both screens, but the secondary is a clone of the primary, they are not separate.

I'd love to hear how to do this job.

    Thank you.

    Hi Carl,

On your photo, Windows 7 is really just a screen, not 2. Even with the OSX level mirroring I always get 2 screens down there.

    This part is so strange.

I had trouble getting the latest driver installed on the Technical Preview of July with my Windows 7 VM. As I have had this kind of trouble on each virtual machine, it would not be limited to my own configuration.

Please look: Windows 7 graphics aero 1.0 after patch performance index

    Is your performance OK index?

I had a quick glance at your logs and it surprises line me:

2013-08-05T08:27:10.759-05:00| mks| I120: OpenGL Renderer: "Intel HD Graphics 3000 OpenGL Engine"

I guess your Macbook has a better GPU in it like that? VMware Fusion requires normally get the best GPU in the machine.

    If you go to:

    About this Mac-> more info-> system-> hardware-> graphics/displays report

Which adapter the 'shows' setting filled? Aka what card is used during your use of VMware Fusion?

  • Video drivers Windows 8 a HP dv6736nr

I've recently upgraded to the final release of Windows 8 and found that many features do not specifically support bi-ecrans.  It seems that, with the final version to win 8 pilots are now the default drivers that do not support the features of the GeForce Go 7150 m.  I can't find any driver that works and the Vista drivers will not be installed.  Do I have any options?

    You are the very welcome.

That is right.  You get an error like this. The file is to install on Vista - error because you have installed W8.

Navigating to the folder of driver by following the steps I posted above should install the driver and you will be ready.

I gave several members of the forum with the same video (and the nVidia 6150) this method and it worked for all of them.

  • Dell SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Docking Station model: D3000 lose 2nd monitor connection

My Dell SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Docking Station model: D3000 is connected to my Dell Inspiron 17R 7720 SE as well as two external disk drives, an external DVD drive, printer and speakers as well as an external monitor.  Recently, I took my laptop on a trip, and when I got home, when I reconnected it it to the docking station it is no longer recognized my external monitor.

I went through several stages of diagnostics not limited to unistalling then reinstalling the DisplayLink software and accidentally fell on the only action that seems to work - power omitting the Docking station (pulling on the power cord).  Unfortunately, this is a pretty serious action to be taken and the patch does not seem to stick, as I had my second monitor drop out after restarting my computer.

The biggest problem is that I spent over a week trying to figure out where to get assistance for the Docking Station and the DisplayLink software.  It seems that my only alternative is to call and talk to Dell Technical Support, but is very annoying because my work hours are with Dell Technical Support, but it comes to my personal computer.

PS another problem I have with the Station of host USB 3.0 SuperSpeed from Dell which is the rubber feet on my Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720 are outside the width of the laptop docking Station can be positioned on top of the Docking Station because it slides right out.

I thought I should update the Dell Community in the hope that a few users will read this BEFORE buying a Dell Super Speed USB 3.0 Docking Station.  I would update my opinion on the Dell site, but this is not supported by Dell, after entering a review you can not update.

Since my original post here, I've known some even more frustrating failures.

    1. Failed to connect Ethernet- My Ethernet connection failed, resulting in the loss of connection with my router and although obviously internet.  I made the important diagnosis and it is finally down to pulling on the power cord of the Station of Dell Super Speed USB 3.0 host.
    2. New router connection not recognized- I bought a router of Netgear R6300 WiFi as I bought the Dell Super Speed USB 3.0 Docking Station, unfortunately I can't the device works with the Docking Station in the loop.  It is with the Dell USB 3.0 Docking Station.
    3. -Speaker problems I had problems with my speakers mounted externally which I thought maybe Windows 8 questions but finally came down to problems with the Dell Super Speed USB 3.0 Station home, fixable in some cases of powerfailing the docking station.
    4. Lack of support- Want to know if this could be caused by the software support, I discovered that the consumer is caught in the middle.  The software providing the support bi-ecrans

In summary - I found the Dell Super Speed USB 3.0 Docking Station to be a totally reliable device with the announced characteristics does not always, including: dual screen, ethernet, sleep mode and support of speaker connection.  In addition the Docking Station does not efficiently, requiring two connections and not providing the simplicity with docking stations specific previous Dell machine.

  • mounting of two HP LP2475w monitors for bi-ecrans support: always use instant trigger plates?

I have a HP LP2475w for a few years and like so much that I bought another (refurbished).

I have been using two screens for many years, but decided to get a compatible VESA support that supports both.

After much research, I settled on this Planar:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16824995006

When I get these screens for the Planar, should I remove the quick release plates and mount these on the booth plan?

I'm unclear as to if the quick release plates would still be used in this scenario.

Thanks for any advice that anyone can provide.

    DG

See page 17 and HP LP2275w, LP2475w LCD monitors user Guide. Based on the information presented in this guide, you can either get the monitors directly on the stand or you can ride "quick release plates" at the bar and fix the monitors on the plates. The two methods are supported with this configuration, but I suggest using the plates for the comfort they offer.

  • The Veriton x 275 memory upgrade

We try to upgrade memory in some of our workstations in a local small business. We have about 100 Acer machines (models vary), but generally include the x 275 for our old machines.

We bought (through online vendors) memory from Corsair and Gskill (as their customer support is great and the products) However, none of the memory has been consistent. We bought (single) 2 GB and 4 GB kits (two-channel) nothing works. (All the sticks of memory were DDR3 PC3-10600 and the same voltage / similar timings as OEM chips.)

I looked in the online documentation for the Veriton x 275 (in which there are very few technical specifications or a list of qualified suppliers) and got absolutely no information on is that the memory taken maximum supported the recommended voltage, timings.

Someone has had problems upgrading these desktop computers and know what is best for the machines OR does anyone have access to the appropriate documentation that could shed some light on what we should buy? My only guess is perhaps the new memory is high density, and these machines can support only low density sticks.

It turns out that it was indeed a problem with memory being high density. We ended up ordering memory from crucial and had no problems what so ever. Even if the memory was the same exact timings, voltage and rated for the same speed, the difference between them is the density of the modules themselves. The old boards do not like high density memory (8 chips instead of say 4 for the same size) and yet the same version of high-density worked in newer models.
