Support is Shocking

What happened to support? This change due to the big change that we have seen, with all BC stuff goes under the roof of Adobe. Not impressed with it at all.

Just the connection to try to get the support of chat, joined the session at 4:55 pm PST where I was told I was number 2 in the queue. After 45 minutes I was no further forward. with a constant message telling me that I was following online. So I went back to the support page and it said that the chat support works only 5 pm PST! So basically, just support people went home and left me in the session. It's terrible service. The session of cat used to be Live all day in Australia - why has the level of support was reduced that way?

I just tried to send a support ticket, I had finally turned it off very well. But then I get a message to say that BC will come back to me "within 3 business days! Quite shocking. What happens if you have an urgent request? You have to wait until the support of text are online.

Then there is the Support Forum, it's confusing and tiny text. What was wrong with the previous support forum? It worked very well. I spent 5 minutes trying to find a 'New Post' button before you realize that have connected you to Adobe.com with your Adobe ID is not sufficient, you must log in to the forum as a separate process.

Get this sorted out, or you will lose a premium partner.

    I was shocked to see that someone has connected to my Apple support portal and I do not recognize this person (see attach)

    This is a bug in forum, no one is connected to your account. I've had it happen maybe two times in all my years here. When you log in, it shows that you are someone else. Just refresh the page and the connection solves the problem.

  • Help me understand in plain language how to stop shock Flash warnings.

    I am 68 years old, and I'm NOT a person computer savvy by any stretch of the imagination. I've had horrible problems with warning shock Flash for four or five years now. I checked the support sites; I checked on the Flash of shock site; I looked at help on Firefox. So far, there's no sense to me that I read. I even asked other friends more computer help. None was forthcoming. Is there anyone in this group which eliminates the geek-speak that I have do not understand and explain to this English teacher in plain, simple English how I can solve this problem.     I've been using laptops for business and pleasure for several years without fail and as the owner happy with Toshiba televisions and other electronics, has decided to buy one of their laptops.

    I paid in full for a new L series and after 6 months of normal use, it stopped charging. Felt as if the PIN in the machine that plugs into the charger was loose.

    I contacted the supplier and they agreed he would need repair and after apologize for my inconvenience, were happy to make it happen but is outside, she would probably be repaired faster if I contacted Toshiba and has asked to make repairs.

    So I did. And he's just down the hill from there. First mistake was mine, not record does not guarantee. So I tried to do. But I bought it online and as my machine six months old was apparently made 11 months and 28 days ago, I had to provide proof of purchase. Offering to send a copy of my bank statement indicating the date of purchase, price and provider was not satisfactory.

    This meant contacts the supplier in London during office hours, the same that I work and so not easy to do. They sent me a copy of this and I then spent two nights in train to pass it to Toshiba for verification.

    What I finally did and the next day for another hour of dinner, rang to arrange collection. I was put to a repair tech who said yes, we can fix this but his manager he said, that he would not be a warranty repair, regardless of the fact that it was only six months. I rang the Bell, not happy.

    The next day I rang back, talked to someone else and was able to arrange for the collection, having been said that according to them, it was my fault it didn't work I have to pay for repairs and the cost of return of close to £80. These threats and that is how to display the, have had no matter my statement that it has been used normally as all the other ones I had used for years and was less than 6 months old.

    In a first time sorry to hear you have this negative experience, but in such a situation, you have to be a little more realistic. It is well known that cell phones or any other manufacturer of different products manufacturers recommend product registration and this should be done quickly enough and not 6 months later. Last month, I bought expensive vacuum cleaner with 5-year warranty and I registered immediately. Now if something goes wrong, I can be sure it will be repaired free of charge.
    Anyway, it's nice to hear that you have made a big mistake.

    I use two laptops Toshiba and I recorded two of them after the first start immediately when this option is available before operating system began for the first time.
    Unfortunately, I can't help you with your case but I just want to write about my experiences.
    After a month of use of motherboard on my Satellite A300 is dead. I wanted to just connect the external HARD disk but some electric shock destroys any electronic power and my external HARD drive was dead, too.

    I contacted Toshiba service in my country and the next day I was in the store. I didn't want to be arrogant or make a sort of pressure and comes nicely asked if this can be fixed as soon as possible.
    You don't know me 7 days later I got my laptop back with the new motherboard.

    I was so happy, so I paid the coffee for two technicians who have achieved all this.

    Once more I'm sorry to hear you had bad luck with this, but I think it's only not to give general statements on the service worldwide. Maybe the guys in my country are more motivated to do a good job. ;)

  • Apparently all iPhone Headset shock... Reproducible results.

    I noticed that while I was sitting in my house hot here in the Philippines using my headphones so that connected iPhone on my desktop... Whenever the volume control on the headset touch my neck in a cold sweat, I'd get a shock.  It's the headset provided with the iPhone I bought in the United States then I went to the iPhone for my wife, helmet, which were purchased at an Apple store here in Asia, and I am shocked again.

    See if you can replicate these results: take any pair of iPhone headphones, plug them into the regular headphone jack on a computer.

    Obviously, my computer could have a bad motive, although no other devices, such as my DSLR camera with all sorts of metal does not shock when connected by USB to the desktop.  And anyway, a bad ground is hardly an excuse for headphones have exposed metal.  I'm really a solution, since it is a ubiquitous default to all listeners.  It looks more like a complaint and a call to the attention of the developers so that they can solve this problem in the next generation of helmet.  But still, I'd be interested to see if someone else gets the same results.

    I called to have a permanent solution to the constant question I was confronted to with the iPhone 6 more flexion.

    The representative was supposed to be an older person something. He was really rude how he responded when I told me about my problem.

    He outrageously blamed it on me. He forgot he was talking to a customer. He repeated that it was my mistake that the phone keep bending. He began to teach me on how I need to use the phone. Although I do need to explain how use, but still, I told him that I put it either in the front pocket all sitting or while you are driving, or most of the time I keep it on my desktop. I had to replace the device twice so far, and I was looking for a permanent solution type.

    I'm still in shock by looking at how this person treated with a customer. Later when I asked another call to apple support, this person was kind enough to listen to through my problem and offered two solutions I will try today.

    I was kind of hoping if it will count if I take this problem to headquarters of companies as I live nearby.

    Phones do not bend by themselves. The amount of force required to bend an iPhone is quite large, about 70 pounds of pressure, if I remember correctly. Reports of consumers test iPhones and other similar phones from other manufacturers. iPhones don't bend any more than other phones.

    Well, one of my friends has a Tecra S3 and he is very satisfied with this unit.
    As far as I know, this device was shipped with Windows XP and all the drivers are available for this device. Drivers Toshiba designed for common OS as W2k, XP.
    If you want to use specific tools and utilities, so you have to use this OS. It of a just done. Mobile computer technology is very different and delicate as a desktop PC. Of course, you can use another OS, but if you can't wait to use special tools.

    For example: mobile video graphics technology is not the same! It of very difficult to get the best graphics performance without high temperatures and overheating problems. In this case the graphics driver Toshiba has an overheating protection. NVIDIA or another s manufacturer drivers doesn t have that option because they designed the drivers for desktop PC not for laptops.

    Toshiba sells many different laptops with different hardware compatibility models. So if you are not able to find the drivers for this laptop, then you should try check the drivers for the other phones with the same hardware devices.

    Hello there;

    I just bought this new laptop: Toshiba Satellite P300-219 last weekend.

    Purchased on the day, I properly checked for new updates of pilot entering serial number into the homepage of support and by Toshiba detection tool and also by selecting the model manually from the list.

    However now none of this work methods. When I enter my series model in the homepage of laptop support I get this message "sorry your product could not be found" and when I run Toshiba detection tool, my browser redirects me to a page that tells me the same above. And when I try to find my model of laptop computer manually from the list, I am shocked to see that my laptop model is not yet displayed in the list.

    So, what's going on here? Toshiba just decided not to support my laptop newly bought? Or is the support page has some technical problems right now? Is there anyone out there live similar things?

    Oh, incidentally excuse my English, I'm not a native speaker...

    Two days ago, I bought a Satellite L855-12n (ice blue). He kept poking my skin like light electric shocks when I hit the bottom of the left and right of the touchpad corners. It happened only when it is connected and I'm barefoot, which led me to the conclusion that it is a grounding problem.
    I complained to the store, but they don't have a clue and neither did support the technique of Toshiba... I tried in different places and took place as some of my friends who have checked, this isn't a problem of shots of my house.

    even the model they have for display in the store does the same thing (I actually had to remove my shoes among all customers to prove my point)

    I am very disappointed and even think about legal action if necessary to get a refund. I asked an adapter 3-pin toshiba, but they said I need to send to their technical assistance offices, and when this is done I'cant take a refund or Exchange with a new model, so I'm taking a big risk here if it turns out that the change of the adapter does not solve the problem.

    Recently, my friend bought a Toshiba netbook. When I checked and shaked... He encouraged and appeared on screen a notice that the hard drive is parked now properly to avoid damage.

    Hi all

    My gf just got me a slate of new 7 for Christmas and when I load it with oem charger and cable I get electric shocks of metal run the Tablet when you plug in the charger.

    I tried to connect a support ticket but my warranty is valid and my support has expired so I was not allowed to post hp.

    First hp unit, extremely not impressed by taking in charge and produced so far, how can I contact someone?

    If I understand correctly your drive and any other SATA drive that fits in the Bay should work with the EPA. I think I just read a more technical discussion on this more to the section of the thinkpads.com, notebookreview lenovo or another thread here (they all blur after a while) but I'm too lazy to go hunt it upward at the moment.     Protection against shocks using a built-in accelerometer that detects when your laptop is declining and then sends a command to stop your hard drive (Park its heads), just as if you were having turned off the computer and stop the hard drive.

    Thus, there is nothing special you need from your hard drive, that all logical owner and material are inside the computer laptop itself. Any hard drive will work fine.
