  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.  We cannot guide you more precisely by changing the BIOS settings that the BIOS settings are specific to your motherboard.  However, most (if not all) parameters of the BIOS have an option to restore the default BIOS (sometimes called "default opitimized").  It may be an option in the menu that you highlight, then press enter or it can be assigned to an F key and States at the bottom of the screen, press F? for the default settings.  I hope this helps.  If you are still not able to reset, check with the manufacturer of PC for more information about the BIOS.   Use the F2 key to enter the BIOS settings and change the order of boot devices. This option is under the STARTUP tab. Otherwise, you can insert the recovery CD when the unit is turned OFF. Turn it on and immediately press the C button. keep it down for a few seconds and unit is forced from the CD/DVD drive.

  XW4300 workstation has been recently updated to Windows 7 from XP pro.  After the update, the system clock did not keep accurate time, then I entered the BIOS Setup and set the time here.  After several hours, I rebooted, entered the BIOS configuration and noticed clock BIOS had not changed.  I replaced the CMOS (CR2032) battery with three different batteries and BIOS clock does not always change.

  Occasionally, Windows 7 system clock will synchronize to the BIOS clock, which creates the incorrect time in Windows. I can see these events in the system event log.

  Is it possible that this problem is related to the Win 7 upgrade, or is it a problem without a report?  Suggestions to control or fix the BIOS clock beyond what has been done so far?  If I can't fix the BIOS clock, is it possible to prevent the synchronization of the clock in the BIOS Win 7?

  I have not found a CLRRTC jumper on the 4300.  Is there a jumper to reset the password (E49), and a CMOS reset button.

  However, I tried to reinstall the battery with power supply cable disconnected, and it reset the CMOS all anyway.  Reset the CMOS seems to have solved the problem.  BIOS clock has now begun to follow the exact time again.  I rebooted several times now, and the time is now correctly.

  Try right-clicking on the BIOS file and select "Run As.." and administrator.

  Also, make sure that your virus scanner is not block it.

  Also look in C:\TEMP, perhaps it has been extracted in there.

  Still having the problem? Were you able to run SFC in Mode safe?

  You could try a repair of Windows 7 installation or if not a clean install.

  I'm abit confused as to how work the processor cores and RAM work? What is selecting 2 hearts the mac was still 4 processors and virtualization of Windows is limited to 2 hearts or virtualization of Windows has 2 cores and running the CMA may have 2 hearts ? The same for both RAM and also when is suspended the RAM of virtualization Windows continue to use mac RAM?

  Welcome to the community - operating system MAC will always use all the cores by default. Fusion is an application running in the operating system, and when you run a virtual machine and it needs time processor, the operating system will set the virtual CPU on a core - and if you have 2 vcpus assigned it will plan each thread on separate kernel - memory is done in the same way that the virtual machine when it is necessary the OS it will plan to the applicattion.

  When you suspend a VM from virtual machines running it will still use some memory - to suspend the virtual machine, it is better to merge.
