  The 4 and 8 GB sticks are not saved while the sticks of 16 and 32 GB are registered. As you seem to know, you can not mix registered and unregistered sticks. For example, you can only add 4 or 8 GB sticks to your present 8 GB sticks

  You're right about the license. With your computer laptop, you bought OS and valid license but the product key from the sticker can be used for the activation of the operating system if you are using the Microsoft installation disc. This product key is up to the original recovery image that you got with your laptop.

  On the one hand, I understand, but you must also understand that, generally speaking, it's your fault. In these cases, toshiba offers just the solution and you can get the original image of recovery for your laptop model. It costs 30 euros, but with this money, you'll get bones, all necessary drivers, tools and utilities that need not be configured.   This thinkpad had Vista Home top. I bought the new hard drive to load a copy just bought Windows XP Pro SP2 top (.) After you install the new hard drive:

  1. I turned on the machine and inserted the Windows XP CD.

  2. the files on the CD (drivers, etc) started loading (in memory, I guess).

  3. then invited himself to choose if I want to install a new version of XP or restore an existing version.

  4. I chose to install a new version.

  5 then I got a message saying that Windows could not find a hard drive on my machine.

  6 then I rebooted and interrupted restarting to examine the configuration of the BIOS settings

  change the BIOS settings in the Config > SATA AHCI compatibility mode.

  Can someone please provide a part number for a battery 9 cells compatible with the T61 6463 5BG 15.4 "?

  My 6-cell dies just out of warranty I searched the store from Lenovo and other sites, but I see conflicting information. Some batteries I've seen who are supposed to be compatible with my T61 clearly have a different form factor that does not. So I would really get a reference number that is really sure before buy you.

  Reference number: 40Y6797 is the battery 9 cells that can be used in the 15.4 inch T61 and R61 and many other Thinkpads.

• Need to retrieve the HARD drive off accident T61

  My T61 crashed a while back and I would like to recover the files from the hard drive. The T61 used BIOS protection to prevent any intrusion HDD. I have my password, but no way to use it. I can attach it to another computer via the USB port, the drive will appear as unallocated. Suppose I need to ask for the password. Don't know how to do this. I have an older T60, but have been hesitant to connect this drive in it as the main drive, because the components are a little different and may not react as well. Certainly not worth damage to a work computer.

  What is the best way to recover these files?

  You won't damage the T60 by inserting the hard disk stuck in it, and the material must be close enough for you to be able to clear the password in the BIOS and then to recover the files.

  Have a friend who works in an office that has a few T61 he's trying to sell, and asked if I wanted a. Could someone give me an idea of the value?

  Its 14 "widescreen display 1440 x 900 (not), it has 3 GB of ram DDR2, disk hard 100gig, NVS140 graphics and dvd burner. The processor is the T7500.

  Unfortunately, he also has an inplace of card reader chip of the ExpressCard location that sucks really as I want to get a couple of USB3.0 ports on the thing.

  The OWL thing is most of them were fed only on updates to to keep on hand should one of the normal use those get out of service... While he claims that they are in perfect condition with minimal wear of battery.

  If the machine is older than the 08/08, meaning August 2008 (08/07 would be July of the same year) he is regarded as having a 'potentially dangerous' GPU and isn't worth much, probably less than $100.

  Ah. I just spoke with him and he said he had 08/07 on the serial number. He also said he thought he was worth $ 250...   Hi all

  I have an Officejet Pro x476dn MFP, which has an automatic paper feed paper jam. The paper is cleared, but the charger always record a jam. I followed the instructions on the printer and in the downloaded user manual from HP.com. I have also checked the sensor flag hangs freely and blew out with a can of airto feeder remove any accumulation of dust or particles of paper. I even half loaded a sheet of tissue paper on the larger particles that may stick. I also checked all other jam points have been cleared.

  The exact error I get is "paper (title)... jam. The original is stuck in the autoloader of Document (CAD). ' Open the ADF cover, remove and reload the original and then try again.  This printer is less than a year and I come to you for more information before you contact HP. I still can not print, but can not scan or copy (cannot return to the home screen). If you need made more information let me know.

  Lenovo had to provide you with a way to reinstall the operating system when you bought the machine.

  This can be in the form of a DVD of restoration or a recovery Partition on the hard disk, where you were supposed to make recovery disks of.
