Tecra M3 - Correct order to install drivers

I bought a second hand Tecra M3 (model PTM30A-ORE002) where the hard drive was wiped. I don't have a recovery disk.

I did a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP3 according to the license on the bottom of the laptop and downloaded the drivers. However, I am not sure of the order in which the drivers should be installed. I can't find any information on it for the M3 series.

Can someone advise the right order?

Hello

I searched a bit using Google and it seems that you have an Australian model. It can be founded here:
http://www.MyToshiba.com.au

Here, you can download all the drivers and tools, but unfortunately there is no document of driver installation command :(

Let me give you a little advice: on the Toshiba site I created a similar model, Tecra M3, PTM30E
It seems to be similar to yours

There, I created a document of instructions installation with this order of installation of drivers:

  • S205 - WinXP - correct order to install drivers?

    Hello

I managed to set up my S205 with WinXP SP3, but 3 problems:

    -Bluetooth didn't work

    -the Webcam does not work

-the system froze after that I tried to wear the autour S205 netbook

I looked in this forum and found that the other netbooks of the S-class need their drivers xp installed in a specific order to work properly.

After playing with the drivers, I managed to get the blue screen of death and need to reboot 10 times to go beyond him. I think it would be best to wipe the system partition and reinstall XP and all the drivers in the right order...

    ... If there is one?

Thanks for your help in advance!

  • Satellite L500-13W - what order to install drivers on Windows 7 32 bit?

    Hello

I have Satellite L500-13W and install Windows 7 32 bit. I have download all the drivers.

What order of installation for my model?

    Hi jason_x,

I agree with Akuma. Two weeks ago I also installed Windows 7 on a disk of Microsoft and after installing Windows 7, I started with installing the chipset driver. Then I installed the Intel Storage Manager, then display driver. After that, I installed the rest of the necessary drivers.

I didn't use a special installation order. After installation, all devices have been properly recognized in device without yellow exclamation points Manager.

I have the Toshiba satellite L670 model.
I want to install Windows XP (32 bit) and I wanted to ask you if there is an order of installation for the drivers for laptop (who goes first, second etc.) after the Windows Setup. I can not find anythink on that of Toshiba Corp.

    Thanks in advance!

Well, normally you produced with common drivers as driver graphics card, chipset, LAN, WLan pilot, pilot of the touchpad, card reader controller, etc.
After that I recommend as follows with the Toshiba control driver software, controls, Hotkey Utility, Power Saver Driver, energy saving, etc.

  • Problem in installing drivers Sound and Bluetooth in a Satellite A100-712

    Hello everyone

I have formatted the hard drive of my laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-712, downloaded the sound and drivers BT of this amazing site.

But there is still a problem.
In Device Manager, there are yellow signs with the realtek drivers and bt. I don't know what to do?

Please, you can list the steps for a correct installation for these drivers?
    BCZ I'm crazy... :(
    Thank you

    Hello

First question: why you n t use the Toshiba Recovery CD?
This CD contains all the drivers, tools and utilities, and you do not have to install any drivers separately

Secondly: The Toshiba driver page, you should find the installation instructions document
Just follow the order of installation mentioned in the txt file and everything should work!

PS: Don't forget to use the right drivers. I think that the A100-712 is outside the PSAA9E series

No it is not mediated by Toshiba.
After many discussions on this forum, these lists are in various different threads for models of laptops.

This is offered on the Toshiba U.S. page but you have the European model and you don t need. Just install stuff offered on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

  • Problem installing drivers Dell for Inspiron 5520

    Hello

My husband has an Inspiron 5520, 64-bit operating system. The warranty has expired 8/2013.  He had a hard drive damaged, that comes to replace with a new one. I am installing Windows 7, the necessary drivers, etc. and spin problems installing drivers.

Here's what I've done so far:

I'm following the instructions on the way which manually reinstall Windows 7 on a Dell (http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&docid=DSN_362048).  I created a Windows 7 DVD and followed the steps leading to a successful installation of Windows 7.

I am now on step 4 of the instructions - installation of the drivers. I went to the Dell drivers and downloads page and entered the serial number of the laptop, which has generated a list of drivers. The list entitled, installing drivers in the Correct order, I started with system utilities. There were two items listed for his laptop. I downloaded the desktop of my laptop and transferred then to a USB drive. I inserted the USB in the Inspiron laptop and tried to install. In both cases, I received an error message that reads:

"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you.

    BJ

    This isn't Dell System Software.

    System software Dell is here:

    http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/driver-sets/Dell-system-software/

The file list is Intel Quick start technology and won't work probably only if you have a disc SSD Cache in your system.

  • Problems after installing drivers.

For a long time, I had a same problem installing drivers.  I finally got out it was because I have my program files all together for my E drive (my C drive is a smaller SSD).  I made the necessary changes to my system to allow the drivers to be installed on the C drive.  After installation I copied the entire tree on my E drive and changed my system to install on E.

Since that every time I try to print I am told that the printer is offline.  I can't open the scanner either.  Windows find the printer successfully, and I'm able to do things like check my ink level.  I can not print correctly on other computers on my network so I know the printer is fine.

The printer in question is a Photosmart HP 6510, computers are all windows 7 and connections are all wireless.

I am sure that the problem is the way I have all my files on my E drive program and not my C drive at 90%.  The ideal solution would be for the HP Installer to assume not only that I want things on C, but I don't see that changing at any time soon.  Anyone with advice on how it works?

    Hello JPadilla,

I set up a laboratory and recreated the error code that you receive when you try to change the drive in which the software is installed to. I'm able to successfully download, extract and install the HP software on my E: drive by following the steps below:

    1. Please make sure that there is no HP printing software installed on your C: drive, even if it's just the basic print drivers go ahead and remove them.

    2. clear your temp folder on the C: drive: click on your Start Menu in the search box type %temp% and delete the files.

    3. Please make sure you back up your registry before proceeding to #4.

    4. has created a folder on your D: drive and name it 'Test'.

    5. click on your Start Menu and search for "regedit", once you are in the follow-up record this way:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > current Version

    6. now that you are in the registry, I need you to right click on the following files and select Edit and change your:

    ProgramFilesDir to D:\Test

    ProgramFilesDir (x 86) to D:Test (x 86)

    ProgramFilesPath to Test %

    ProgramW6432Dir to D:\Test

    7. now, we can go ahead and download the drivers and full software features. Once you have clicked on the download, select Save as using the drop-down arrow and select computer and select your E: drive, click Open, and then save. Once downloaded go ahead and select RUN.

You should now be able to install on your E: drive, as stated previously I managed to clear the error and changing the drive in which the software was the installation by following the directions above.

Please keep me updated and I would like to know if it is a resolution that is successful for you or if you need more help, I'd be happy to help you.

    Thank you very much
