Tecra M4 S435 US Version Bluetooth antenna

Hello

This is my first message here. I decided to write, because I'm not sure I'm supposed to use my Bluetooth antenna for. It's a mystery to me. I bought a pre-configured Tecra M4 with a Bluetooth antenna (I don't think it's the same as the Bluetooth Module) and I can not connect any bluetooth device. Also the FN + F8 does not work. Can someone explain to me please what is the Bluetooth antenna.

Thank you
Sevi

Hi Sevi

Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly how it looks like the module BT but Tecra M4 has no doubt the BT module on board and it should work.

Before you can activate BT using FN + F8 key combination antenna Wireless switch on the front of your laptop must be set on IT. Using the FN + F8 key combination, you will be able to activate BT. To use BT, launch the Bluetooth Manager, start the Bluetooth service center and search for remote devices or services to connect to.

Good bye

  • Tecra M4-S435 does not start

My Tecra M4-S435 will not start.
When I turn it on, all I hear is a quick check of the DVD player, a hum of hard drive and fan.
I don't see anything on the screen at any time. I tried an external monitor and still see nothing.

Is this a failure of hard drive, the screen failure or something else?

    > That could tell if pulling the battery for 30 minutes he gets to start? (I have not tried with my original Tecra, but I will soon... I just have to put a hard drive in it first...)

I m not very well, but I guess that the BIOS would be defined default value that could help solve this problem.
I had this similar problem with my Toshiba laptop not and the same workaround helped also

  • Tecra S1: Cannot get battery bluetooth or wireless to work

Hello. I have a tecra S1. I bought a friend and don't have is not the original cd. After a fresh install of xp sp2, I followed the order of installation of the drivers from the toshiba site. I tried several drivers for the wireless card, but it is still yellow in the devices. I'm confused as to why there are so many drivers for the wireless card (intel, toshiba, atheros, cisco, etc.), none of them work well? Can anyone help?

In addition, as a result of the bulletin tec on the toshiba site I installed the toshiba bluetooth stack. Whenever I try to open the bluetooth Manager, it does not. Nothing will come up on the taskbar. Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Hello

The fact is that these devices are optional on this unit. The laptop also has 4 different wireless network cards. You should be sure that you are using the correct driver.
You suggested that the Bluetooth mouse is connected to the unit. Well, it seems that the Bluetooth works fine, but you have not enabled this feature.
Try using the FN + F8 key combination to activate the WiFi and Bluetooth.

  • TECRA A11-14 L (PTSE1E) bluetooth and UMTS are disabled after inactivity

    Hello

I am running Microsoft windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and I installed all the new drivers on the support site.
Everything works fine, but when I stop using my computer as more than 10 min, UMTS and Bluetooth devices are disabled, and they are invisible by Windows.

I try to put the button on the front panel to disable and re-enable or use the tools via the FN + F8 but without success.
The only solution is to reboot the machine.

I changed the properties of windows for the energy management to take no action on AC, but without success.
    Could you please help me

  • Tecra M3 - Bluetooth Stack versus Bluetooth Monitor?

Previously, had a Tecra 9000 and never got bluetooth works smoothly and seem to have the same problem with nine Tecra M3... (maybe its me!)

I checked and updated all the drivers downloads and had problems to any Bluetooth (M3 for IPAQ 3970). Found out that if you uninstall Bluetooth Stack and reinstall it the battery but do NOT install Bluetooth Monitor, everything seems to work (as far as I know). Prices Bluetooth Stack Bluetooth Monitor alternative (the installation guide does not suggest it)?

    Thank you all

    Hello JohnBer

The only thing I can tell you about Bluetooth technology, it's that I use Bluetooth Toshiba Stack to connect to my mobile phone from Siemens. I sometimes use it as modem to check mail short and fast. I have no problem and the connection is fine. I use the wizard of a mobile phone is always properly recognized and I can use it without problem.

If you have some problems to make the connection between your device and some external device, it can be caused by some false setting. To make good configuration between laptop and mobile phone was not easy. As I said to check all the Bluetooth settings on both units.

  • Tecra A10 - 1 HL: released a new version of custom display driver

My Tecra A10, use an old versionf of the display driver: Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family 8.15.10.1872.

On Intel site now there are versions of recent that solves many problems: I can not install because Tecra A10 uses a version customized for this driver and install no customized version of Intel can cause problem!

When Toshiba release new customized version? Update the site the last and unique output is of * 08-13-2009 *: it's time to update... or not?

    Hello

May I ask why you need a new display driver? Do you have problems with your laptop or what exactly?

I mean that if the official driver of Toshiba works correctly I don't see a reason to update something. Never touch a running system ;)

  • Question about connector Bluetooth internal on Tecra 8100?

    Hi all.
I have a laptop of 52 - sp pt810e - 13 c. Updated to 512 MB by using 2 toshiba 256 MB pc100 modules purchased on ebay, upgrade to a PIII 850 also obtained in a ebay and upgraded to a larger 40 GB wdc wd400e hard drive, with a lot less noise than 12 GB the original.

Play with my computer, I found an internal connector "bluetooth" next to the inside which belongs to the keyboard.

Why is this? Are there any new Bluetooth module for Toshiba Tecra 8100?

    Hello

I guess that this connector is placed on the motherboard, because it is possible to upgrade the Tecra 8100 with an internal Bluetooth module.
I don t find Bluetooth modules compatible but all supported and compatible parts, you can order from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

  • Kit Bluetooth for Tecra A8 - KF2?

Anyone know if there is such a beast? I have a new client with 4 of these laptops and would love to add a BT module to each of them. Search on Google and the search of these forums and web site of Toshiba not gave much info.

    Thank you

    Sleeman

If the laptop has a bluetooth antenna pre-installed, then all you need is the bluetooth module.
If there is no antenna, then by installing an antenna can be costly, if possible.
The Brochure should you say if there is a bluetooth antenna and also tell you the part number for the bluetooth kit.

Otherwise, the easiest would be to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter.

  • Installing the antenna Bluetooth T40

    It's a T40 2373-75U

I had a boyfriend to come last night, he was hit fn + F5 and turned on and it worked, paired & connected to my iphone.

    Thanks for the good advice.

It's an old T40, but it still works very well, it has now been upgraded to bluetooth and the wi - fi card has been upgraded wireless g. It is worth nothing to sell, cost more to reformat and reinstall windows I could get for her. I think I'll keep it for a long time.

    Hello

Don t try to refresh the battery BT but uninstall the battery BT the system.

Then download the CCleaner tool. This tool cleans up the registry and removes all traces of BT of the system.

After that restart the laptop, download the last battery BT from here:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/?page=download-Toshiba and install the BT are turning once more.
Do not forget that the Fn + F8 would allow the BT Service.

  • Problem Pairing device: Bluetooth virtual keyboard (VKB) detection of service failed

Hi, I could use help to determine the cause and the solution to a problem I have. I want to associate this with my Toshiba Tecra M4-S435 keyboard. The laptop has an internal module installed, "Cambridge Silicon Radio, LMP (V: S) 02:0490." I installed the last 5.10.01 (T) BT stack. I have several other paired devices, but this one is the original questions.

The unit is in the discovery as a keyboard VKB (it supports HID and SPP); I want to use the HID profile. In the authentication dialog, the VKB beeps, who is his warning that a PIN can be typed into the unit, but to hit the enter key, a dialog box informs me that "Detection of Service Failed". I've seen similar problems posted on the manufacturer's website, but I have not seen any resolution.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I m not an expert from BT, but if you have several other devices with your laptop coupled, then everything is ok with your Tecra M4 BT stack and the machine.
It seems that there is a compatibility problem with your external virtual Bluetooth keyboard.

Either the Toshiba BT stack does not support this VBK and service or the firmware of this device allows a few worries
However, in case I would recommend contacting manufacturing virtual Bluetooth keyboard for more details.
Guys should more known on own products as simple Toshiba here users in the forum.

    Good luck
