  • Endpoint of telepresence registering on CUCM by motorway from the Internet

    Hi guys,.

I have a question - how to correctly register telepresence endpoint (I SX10, 20, 80) on pit CUCM Expressway on the Internet?
I found a following document - http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/tc7/administration-guide/administering-endpoints-running-tc72-on-ucm1051.pdf, guide on p.48 there, but it did not work. and I don't have any after such configuration event log.

If the change other options in SX20 as "Profile SIP" and "Proxy", I get the following errors:

I can register successfully on CUCM with Jabber for Windows and Android via the highway but not SX20.

are there any other document or guide describing how to configure the SX series in such cases? or someone who had these lab or deployment?

    Thank you!

Take a look at the Guide deployment of MRA, to check what you have done and set up all the pieces.  Looks like you're missing the SIP domain on the highway, see "setting up the Expressway-C" on pg 20.

  • Standalone telepresence solution

    Greetings,

I wanted to ask you if there is a solution to deploy cisco Telepresence to autonomously, i.e. without

    integration with CUCM.

    Kind regards!

Of course, you can get a Cisco TelePresence endpoint (as C - / EX-/ SX-/ MX-Series) and simply use a h323 IP 2 IP call.

    Presentation of the telepresence product:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps7060/index.html

Works well, but I prefer a call as VCS or CUCM control!

If you think internet connectivity and you have to manage home offices / nat / firewall /...

a VCS Expressway Starter Pack could be useful:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11305/ps11315/ps11337/data_sheet_c78-697075.html

There are also companies (like us) who offer recordings of endpoint, so if you do not want

worry not operating or investment, this could also be an option.

TMS is currently running on Windows 2008/R2?

If so, one of the more recent versions TC removing support for TLS version 1.0 protocol.  Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 have TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are off by default, you must enable (google, just need something changed in the registry).

  • Conversationalist active Server of telepresence and Silhouette film strip

    Here's the scenario:

Three IX5000 usings call conference bridge.  A bunch of users are also challenging a single Meetingplace audio conference.  Then a user IX5000 will merge the telepresence as well as audio Conference and all is well.

It work very well using CTM (Cisco Telepresence Multipoint switch).

We recently tried to replace CTMS with telepresence server.  The problem is the silhouette of the active talker band and film are rampant.

With the server TP when the active talker calls a Phone 7960 series her generic figure filling an IX 5000 screen so it is useless and annoying.

Also, we get a lot of generics of the silhouette for all callers call professionals is not useful and annoying.

Can we disable the active speaker and functions the film for points not telepresence endpoints or something?  Or is there another approach to take?

    Hi Tod,

Unfortunately there is no current way to disable avatar audio active speaker on version 4.1 of the GST and especially beyond manually enter a control center conference TMS and video for the user who is audio only of inhibition.

What follows is a good thread on this same issue:

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/12631876/disable-Telepresence...

CSCus88355 is used in a feature request to allow this should be disabled, I would advise this sunrise with your account team directly.

  • Telepresence 8 button pairing with the SX20

Hello one trying to match an 8 touch screen with the SX20 telepresence, in certain moment its request for a user name and password to connect with the SX20, what is this user and the password?

    Concerning

    Leonardo Santana

According to the Touch 8 Installation Guide (page 4), it is the login admin for your codec.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/touch/installation_guide/touch_for_c-series_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Did you change the account or the password admin since installing the SX20?  A way to test is to try to log into the SX20 with username admin and leave the password empty.  If you are able to connect with a password blank or empty, that no password has been defined yet, I advise you to define for this purpose.  If you try to connect and get connection failed with empty or empty, password a password has been set on the admin account.  You may need to consult someone if you don't know.

  • How to get the video conference on the two HDMI ports simultaneously in the telepresence codec sx20 o/p?

I tried to get video output in both output HDMI port SX20 codec, but when I'm on one device to the other display is turned off, so my question is, I can't exit on both screens at the same time? If so, how?

    Hello

First of all what you should check that the "videos > monitors: role" is set to Dual and you can then configure the output HDMI mode primary, secondary or presentation only.

This can be done through the WEB user interface or via the CLI over SSH

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set...

If your search "Video monitors" in this document, you will see the orders if necessary.

  • Telepresence EX60 with CUCM 8.5 - How to integrate?

    Good morning people,

I'm building a lab with 8.5 CUCM and presence Server 8.5

I'll install the Cisco TelePresence EX60, and I wonder how I do integration with CUCM.

Need to install the additional server? You simply add a SIP device in CUCM?

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    Bruno

    Hello.

You must have CUCM 8.6 in order to utlize the full potential of the CUCM / integration EX60. You save the unit directly to the CUCM.

I recommend you take a look at this guide, after that you did with your laboratory update.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/TC5/administration_guide/cts_endpoint_administration_ucm86_quick_start_guide_tc50.PDF

I have attached a screenshot showing how it should look like the description of the device.

    Thank you

  • Question of telepresence DNS settings

    Hello

I would like to know when the dns server is queried by telepresence endpoints. In other words, when DNS servers need to be configured on the telepresence endpoints.

I have a couple of Cisco TelePresence endpoints on the VCSC, do I need to set up DNS servers on endpoints? If so, DNS servers are same as that configured in VCSC?

    Thank you

Yes, if you use not VCS cluster, then you'll be fine without having to configure DNS server on the breakpoint addresses.

  • Jabber for telepresence (MAC OS)

I was asked to rollouot the Jabber telepresence (MAC OS). I took all the Jabber for telepresence (Windows) However, I'm not familiar with the version of MAC OS.

I looked for MAC OS user's guide, however it does not show where to enter the settings for the internal and external parameters.

If someone has installed the version of MAC OS before and are there special models which must be addedd inot models in MSDS

If you are looking to create a preconfigured installation program, see here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/Jabber_Video/4_6/CJAB_BK_C89F6C9E_00_cisco-Jabber-video-for-telepresence_chapter_011.html#CJAB_TK_CB861748_00

The settings are in the relevant plist, look for com.cisco.JabberVideo.plist located in Library\Preferences.

Parameters can also be added locally by the user; Open JabberVideo and click the key/screwdriver icon or choose JabberVideo then Preferences from the top Ribbon.

Otherwise, there is no model of special supply required for the Mac, the two Win version and Mac use the same provisioning models.

  • Video of Jabber Cisco Telepresence band bandwidth provisioning

    Hello

We have deployed video jabber cisco for telepresence 4.5 with VCS 7.2 and TMS 13.2.2.  We use jabber to take interviews. The candidates will be sent the link to download the jabber with the required authentication settings. The Jabber is configured with the Public Max and minimum bandwidth of 768 Kbps.

My question is related to the downspeed of bandwidth. If we configure the bandwidth of 768 Kbps prvosining and internet bandwidth of candidates is less than 768 Kbps will be the Downspeed VCS to accroding appeal to the bandwidth of the network of candidates.

for example if my internet connection from home is just 512 Kbps and the use of the jabber to make a call to ex90 in my office. Bandwidth settings is preconfigured in the jabber as 768 Kbps. When the call is established will be VCS downspeed the call at 512 Kbps.

    Krishna.

You cannot configure a minimum bandwidth, which is always the maximum bandwidth jabbervideo will use.

The user can only set this value downward but not upward, but as the client detects a loss and stores a database

with information on used networks recently and its quality.

So, should not be a big problem the faster speeds available and allow the customer to do magic.

I woud recommend to (re) read the Jabber_Video_Administrator_Guide

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/MOVI/admin_guide/Jabber_Video_Administrator_Guide_4-5.PDF

This gives you more information concerning automatic bandwidth adaptation and capabilies of bandwidth detection.

  • Range of Ports RTP endpoints TC changed after registering with CUCM

    Hello community,

We have SX80 endpoints running TC7.3.2 and registered at CUCM 11.

By default the TC ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP endpoints. After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. In my view, WHAT CUCM change the codec settings.

Based on the http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/tc7/administration-guide/administering-endpoints-running-tc72-on-ucm1051.pdf guide I couldn't see any setting to do with RTP ports.

This is a problem for us, because on the firewall rules, we have configured and fixed ports for points endpoints use the default go 2326-2487 UDP. Because these endpoints and video infrastructure (servers of telepresence, TCS, VCS) are on different networks separated by firewalls. At present, when recording and join the conference bridge there are no media because ports have been changed. When I change the default port range, there is no problem with the media. I can record and call to the conference bridge hosted by a TP server successfully. And if I hit the button refresh on the web GUI of the codec, 16384 to 32766 changes the settings.

Y at - it a setting that I could check on the side of CUCM?

    Thanks in advance.

«By default the endpoints ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP TC.» After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. "I believe THAT CUCM change the codec settings".

Yes, it's true. Once your video endpoint is configured and registered on the CUCM, the CUCM will be more than just the default settings of your endpoint. It depends on the SIP profile has been used and applied for your endpoint. You need to check that the configuration of the SIP profile of the CUCM applied for your endpoint. In your case if it's SX80, check the SIP for SX80 profile and change the start and stop media ports. It comes to the RTP port range.

    In your case:

    Port of bootable media: 2326

    Stop Media Port: 2487

    Kind regards
