  • Laptop WiFi problem, «identifying...» (network name) ».

    Hello
    I'm having a problem with the wireless on my laptop. Its a HP Pavilion dv6000 and just under a year of age. I had no problems with the wireless until recently. I use the laptop at home and usually the internet is very well (apart from the occasional disconnection), but when I'm at school do frequently connect to the school network (I am a student of the University, and there are several routers throughout the school and in the many buildings). Sometimes it will connect in one building and I'll switch to another and it does not connect. Each time, he does not connect it always says "identifier...". (wireless network name) ». No amount of repair, restart or reset the network card it won't connect. The strange thing is that sometimes it connects to the router in this building (i.e. library) and sometimes it won't. Whenever I have check the status shows that the laptop is received but does not send do not.

    Help! This problem is really starting to annoy me and I don't want to end up throwing my laptop on the whole of the library.

  • change the network name on my wireless router?

    A few months ago, I bought my linksys router and did the installation of all the stuff that day, including changing the name of the default network. I want to change the name to something different, but when I went to the address of the facility, there was no box to put the new network name [I was on standard wireless settings tab in the wireless section]. Help please?

    [Yay that worked, thank you:]

  • How to remove or delete profiles redundant network (names) of my office and laptops running Windows 7?

    With Verizon DSL modem in bridge and as a router Linksys WRT 160N, my desktop and laptop computers have been in a network.  Laptop computer and printer via wireless and desktop wired.  The name of the network used to be the same for all connected devices.  However, when my Linksys gave the soul about a week ago, I reconnected it via the Verizon Actiontec WRT704G modem/router combination and since I could not print from the laptop, and it takes about 5 minutes to print 2 pages of my office.  The network name on my desktop by default automatically to the network 4, and on the laptop, there '2' after the former name of network.  With different network names, I couldn't set up my home group.  But I have access to the internet on both computers.  The network name (SSID) on the site config the router and the printer is the same: the former name of the network without the '2'.

    I need help or advice on how to clear or remove these other network names and have just 1 network name for all connected devices.  I know that in Vista, you can merge or remove network profiles but can't seem to find a way to do this under Windows 7.  Also, my laptop is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and the Office on Home Premiun 64 bit.

  • Sync Center stops the error: the specified network name is no longer available

    Original title: stops Sync Center sync every time there is an error?

    The error is still "the specified network name is no longer available." Sync stopped with offline files. So I hit ignore and restart the synchronization. This happens about every minute during synchronization. I'd rather just complete synchronization what it can that stop all the time and I have to restart manually. Anyone knows any solution or what does the error message mean?

    I had a similar error.  This seems to be a function of the indexing of offline files when you synchronize a large number of files.  By temporarily disabling indexing of offline files, you can synchronize all your files and then re - activate the indexing.

    To disable indexing, clear the checkbox 'offline files' under control panel > Indexing Options.  Then synchronize as usual and re - activate when you are finished.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Chiquitita,

    Your computer is connected to a domain network?

    If your computer is connected to the domain network, you need to contact the system administrator to know the network address of the fax server.

  • How to find my network name?

    original title: Internet

    One of my friends came from China and she brought a laptop with it. When she arrived home, she could not connect to the Internet even if my PC can. When we looked in wireless connections, it did not show the name of our network. I have to ask how I can find it.

    It depends on if the router assigns to hide my SSID or wireless network name.

    You must Access the router interface or GUI and find the wireless settings, and then view the name of the wireless network.

    If you have hidden then you should keep the name of your wireless network, as others prefer to hide the name so no one else will be able to see and connect to.

    You must also consider your WEP or password make sure that you have it.

    you know your IP of the gateway?

    Let's find out who. Press the windows from the keyboard, and then press R in total.

    There type cmd and press ENTER.

    type at the command prompt.

    ipconfig

    Send us the details here or just look for the default gateway and get back to us.

    from there, we will be able to access the router page I hope that the username and password which is always enabled by default, which is the user name: admin password is password or admin.

  • [4.0.1] bug in Data Import: ORA-00957: duplicate column name

    I found a serious problem in the import feature in 4.0.1 data as well as in the old version 3.2. It generates an INSERT script with duplicate column names, so that I can't use this feature at all. This is very critical for me. I don't see that I did anything wrong. It does not appear that the DB table columns are optional or required, or if I have NULL data in the file to import the required columns or not important.

    Here is a stripped down test cases:

    CREATE TABLE IMPORT_DATA

    (

    ACCOUNT VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES),

    NUMBER AMOUNT (30.3).

    CUSTOMER VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES)

    COST_CENTER VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES),

    DESCRIPTION VARCHAR2 (255 BYTES),

    THE PERIOD NUMBER (15),

    NUMBER OF AWARDS (30.8).

    PROJECT VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES)

    ID_RESSOURCE VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES),

    TOTAL_HRS COMP (30.8).

    TRANS_ID COMP (30.3).

    VERSION VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES),

    NUMBER OF VOLUME_FLAG (15),

    WORKORDER VARCHAR2 (25 BYTES)

    );

    There are examples of input data with a single line (Excel CSV/separator with ";" as separator). It doesn't matter that I have import this as CSV/delimited or as original XLSX file, the error still occurs.

    COST_CENTER; PROJECT; ID_RESSOURCE; WORKORDER; VERSION; ACCOUNT; VOLUME_FLAG; TOTAL_HOURS; PRICE; AMOUNT; PERIOD_FROM; PERIOD_TO; DESCRIPTION; TRANS_ID; CUSTOMER

    Z4; D425Z4; RC 8901; 0; 0; 0; 0.00; 201004; 201004; TestData; -118; Z4

    The import script generated is:

    SET DEFINE OFF

    -As line 1 non been einfügen

    -ORA-00957 double column name:

    Line - 1

    INSERT INTO IMPORT_DATA (COST_CENTER, PROJECT, id_ressource, WORKORDER, VERSION, ACCOUNT, VOLUME_FLAG, ACCOUNT, PRICE, QUANTITY, ACCOUNT, ACCOUNT, DESCRIPTION, TRANS_ID, CUSTOMER) VALUES ("Z4", "D425Z4", ",", "RC", '8901' 0,0 '0', 0.0, 0.0, '201004', '201004', "Testdata",-118.0, "Z4");

    and as you can see, it has the column AMOUNT several times.

    Help!

    What you have on the step 3 of 5 of the wizard when you set the columns?

    It seems you have more values on your input string you have columns of your table.

  • List of all VM network name and IP address

    I am trying to get my head around powerCLI.

    I want to create a script that will the virtual machines on a cluster of output and display their network name and IP address.

    I have this so far.

    (get - vm). %{
    $vm = $_
    echo $vm.name.
    $vm. Guest.Nics | %{
    $vminfo = $_
    echo $vminfo.NetworkName $vminfo. IP $vminfo. MacAddress
    echo '; ' n ';
    }
    } | Export-Csv C:\vm_nic_report.csv

    I'd love to be able to limit the output on the cluster baised, but I can't understand this.

    If I run it without the Export-CSV, I see the info that I need on the screen, but if I add the Export.csv, my CSV is a colum with a bunch of numbers and no real value.

    Hello, TdisalvoOrinoco-

    If you want to limit the output to virtual machines that reside in a specific cluster, you can just start the whole expression with a Get-Cluster and then direct to the Get - VM with which you start currently (or use the - rental on Get - VM parameter).  Thus, the first line would be one of:

    &{Get-VM -Location (Get-Cluster myCluster0) | %{    $thisVm = $_    ## a hashtable for holding properties to be returned    $hshNicInfo = @{}; $hshNicInfo["VMName"] = $thisVm.Name    ## for each NIC, build some info with MACAddr, IPInfo, and Network Name    $thisVm.Guest.Nics | % -Begin {$i = 0} -Process {        $oThisNicInfo = $_    ## the current NicInfo item        ## get the IP info (IPv4 and IPv6 if there, which should be available if VMware Tools are running)        $strIPInfo = ($oThisNicInfo.IpAddress | sort) -join "/"        ## add the NicInfo items to the hashtable for later use with New-Object        $hshNicInfo["Nic${i}MACAddr"] = $oThisNicInfo.MacAddress        $hshNicInfo["Nic${i}IPInfo"] = $strIPInfo        ## this does not seem to have the network name if the portgroup is on a distributed vSwitch, so changed to the line after it        #$hshNicInfo["Nic${i}NetName"] = $oThisNicInfo.NetworkName        $hshNicInfo["Nic${i}NetName"] = ($thisVm.NetworkAdapters | ?{$_.MacAddress -eq $oThisNicInfo.MacAddress}).NetworkName        $i++    } ## end foreach-object

        ## once the hashtable is populated for all NICs, create a new object with the info New-Object -TypeName PSObject -Property $hshNicInfo} ## end foreach-object## sorting goodness from LucD (of course) at http://communities.vmware.com/message/1769991#1769991} | sort -Property {(Get-Member -InputObject $_ -Name "Nic*").Count} -Descending | Select VMName,Nic* | ` Export-Csv -NoTypeInformation -UseCulture C:\temp\vm_nic_report.csv

    This is similar to the script posted in the thread http://communities.vmware.com/message/1848022#1848022 (which post has a bit more info on the necessary sorting for good performance, but also another way to recover data, using Get - views).

    In any case, it is a little more that you might write to debut with PowerCLI, but that he gets the output you're looking?
