• HP Envy Phoenix 860-010: How can I use a third monitor HP Envy Phoenix 860-010

  I was happily running two monitors since I got this computer in April 2016, a monitor connected to the HDMI port and the other to the NVIDIA GTX 960 card DVI port.  This card supports four maximum monitors.  It has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPort connections.

  Note on the model 860-010, you can't use both ports HDMI vertical marked HDMI 1 and HDMI 2.  They are not active in this model.  They only work with the smaller models that use the integrated graphics card.  This model has the dedicated graphics card, then only the ports on the card are active.  (That does not match the Support of HP and I confirmed by experience).

  Now, I need to connect a third monitor that has VGA and DVI ports.  My only option is to connect it to one of the DisplayPort ports on the map with an adapter.  I contacted the support NVIDIA and they told me that is a * active * or * passive adapter works with this card.

  So I bought a DVI DisplayPort passive adapter cable / and connected the third monitor to one of the DisplayPorts.

  When I start, the start screen appears on my screen of third but it signals an error specified, says it cannot start Windows, and proposes to recover my system back to a restore point, which I of course refuses.  I tried various advanced troubleshooting options, two different ports, DisplayPort and two different DVI monitors with the same results each time.  When I disconnect the third screen, the computer is back to normal and starts very well.

  My third monitor is obviously able to display stuff through this link because the splash screen and the different screens of the error and recovery see here, and I can use my mouse to interact with these screens.

  The screen message error file C:\windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt newspaper references.  This file reports the following error:

  I tried to look this error online and got no useful success.

  Someone knows how to do a third DVI (or HDMI) to monitor work on this model?

  Confirmed that my problem was a bad DisplayPort passive adapter DVI cable.

  I got the third monitor working by getting a Plugable Active adapter DisplayPort to HDMI for $19.95 and one of my existing monitors to use its DVI port to HDMI switching use.  Then I connected the third monitor, which has DVI and VGA connections on my computer with a DVI cable.

  Now, all three monitors are working fine.

  The profiles.ini file must have an extension of .txt file added.
  The name should be just "profile.ini" and properties should confirm that this is an INI file.
  If this file is a .txt file extension added, you must rename the file to "profile.ini" then something went wrong with it (use quotation marks to force the .ini file extension.
  You can also have security software that protect the .ini files and restore them in silence.

  I am trying to create a Chinese version of one of our applications. I have a msgrte.txt that has been translated into Chinese, and I ran countmsg.exe on update magic numbers. Countmsg.exe reports of success, and the numbers are changed.

  When I run the application, it blocks (unrecoverable error) whenever I do anything that requires the text in this file, for example a FileSelectPopup.

  If I use the standard version of English to msgrte.txt, the application works OK (though of course the standard popup panels have English text).

  An inspection of the eyeball of the msgrte.txt translated shows anything special on the file.

  Locale system is set to Chinese (simplified, China).

  Anyone has any ideas to identify the problem?

  It turns out the format of at least some of the messages in msgrte.txt is critical and will result in the application crash if it is not correct. In my case, the message:

  1331 ' __All files (*.) " *)... »

  has been translated with a missing space character, that is to say (the Chinese equivalent of):

  1331 «files __All...»

  This message appears to be used as a filter in FileSelectPopup (and FileSelectPopupEx) specifier, so the space between the description and the designation of generic character is important.

  So if you translate msgrte.txt, be careful! If, like me, you find it translated by a third party in a language you don't understand, be doubly careful

  Can you check under Options | Status and take note of your free file number. Then reset the unit by removing the battery and 1 min and replace it and let the device restarts. After that he did check and see if your free file number has increased.

  I use a network path to load the file (such as \\ADDRESS_ESSBASE_MACHINE\... \File.txt).

  What can happen so he can run correctly with the agent local and failure with the FDMEE agent?

  If you read files from another machine, autonomous agent configuration is recommended.

  If the FDMEE agent is not configured on the computer where the file exists, it cannot read the file.

  you have other ways to do this activity, using ftp or sftp if you have network configurations in place.

  I worked on the script following since a few days now, determined to exhaust my own knowledge before asking for help... Unfortunately, it didn't take very long to exhaust my knowledge :-(

  Basically, I need to replace a value in a single file (raw.txt) with the value of another file (userids.csv) when a variable is. Then I released the results of a third file.

  To do this, I divided the "raw" file into variables using the ',' as the separator, the problem is that some variables are intentionally empty, where the fi $variable = "statements.

  It is currently what I want to do but only when the userids.csv file contains a single line. It is obviously because of the foreach ($user in import)... What I need to figure out is how to loop through the file raw.txt, text replacement when a variable in the user ID file is the text in raw.txt... I hope that makes sense?

  The user ID file is in the following format - user, service, Dept that can contain dozens of lines

  No, Apple does not publish or release this level of technical specifications to the public.  Since the 3rd order intercept is a purely mathematical concept for such low power as a smart phone device, I imagine that these kinds of data are unknown outside of Apple's own engineering group (or Foxconn I guess)?

  I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

  -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

  -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

  -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

  -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

  With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

  If you want in the Favorites, open iCloud Drive and drag them in the sidebar here.

  All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

  ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

  I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.

  I searched the archives to try to find relevant articles about it, but all I could find were articles published in 2012 in the aftermath of the FCP - X was introduced.  I know at the time, Apple was pretty well rooted out FCP all export capabilities that were in FCP 7 for the purpose of export the titles so they can be translated in a third-party audio editor (such as Pro Tools or Adobe Audition) to water down the audio.

  Now, I suspect that this feature is in FCP - X in the form of export > XML option in the file menu.

  But I wonder if anyone is familiar with this operation could me step through it.  I'm eager to bring discrete tracks (i.e., "storylines attached") within the PCF - X in a third-party audio editor.  I usually use Pro Tools to a job like this.  But I also plead for a friend, and he uses Adobe Audition.  Neither one of us is a fan of Logic Pro.  (I have it, but my eyes glaze every time that I try to give a sense).
