to ApplicationManagerException: "Manager.setBackground" not found on the curve of the 4.5 OS

My app runs well on blackberry "BOLD" and combined the torch but when io build to curve it gives me this exception at startup...

Unfortunately google has not helped me...

the detailed error message is:

net.rim.device.api.system.ApplicationManagerException: error starting SalatApp_curve: symbol 'Manager.setBackground' not found.

I wonder if you have a different problem.

I suspect that you have developed this application using OS 4.6 or before, at OS 4.6, RIM introduced the setBackground and setBorder decoration classes.  These aren't in the 4.5 OS.  If you try to run a code developed using this OS 4.5, I wonder if you get this error.

Try to compile your code using a development environment at the level of the 4.5 OS and see what compile errors are thrown upwards.

Remember that you must develop at the OS level or more than the minimum level that you want to deploy too.

    I am running MS Vista on my laptop. Recently when I start up I get the message "the 495 ordinal not found in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll" in a popup box and must cancel 10 times before I can move forward.

    I thought somehow it may relate to a recent update that has been accepted for Skype on my system.  So I uninstalled Skype.  Attempts to reinstall Skype have failed.  the installed app, but I cannot arrive at a login screen.  Instead of the normal Skype window, I have just the bottom of loading in a web browser.

    I found a similar one but transposed ordinal error discussed 459 in the KB and I tried following many of its steps (+ my results):

    To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

    a. Quit all programs that are running.

    b. Click Start and then click Run.

    c. type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.

    Original title: Corel Software-related Error Messages, I tried to delete

    I'm getting 2 error messages associated with a Corel program I tried to remove it.  The messages are:

    1. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\" value: "ConfigDir" not found in the registry
    2. the language of the INTERFACE of vase directory is not valid

    I press Ctl-Alt-Del to exit pop ups of the error, and when appears in the Task Manager, the tasks that I have to stop are:
    1. bad language directory
    2. corel

    This happens when I right click on Office Documents and sometimes on my USB files. All opinions are appreciated. Thank you.

    The problem may occur if the language pack is not installed correctly or not installed at all.

    To resolve this problem, you will need to re - install the language pack.

  • error AVCFPlayerSetclientEnforcedExternalProjectionMethod is not found in the AVFoundationCF.dll dynamic link library

    I tried to update my iTunes this weekend.  Now, I can't open it I get this error: AVCFPlayerSetclientEnforcedExternalProjectionMethod is not found in the AVFoundationCF.dll dynamic link library is on a Windows 7 computer.  I tried to re - install outside of iTunes and repair.  But no luck.  Should I uninstall iTune and then re-install?  Help.

    These errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, then fix the component it is programs and features Control Panel. AVFoundationCF.dll belongs to Apple Application Support and are normally in

    • C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

    where the name of the Program Files folder may vary depending on the region.

    For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.

    More information area has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to a previous version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for the problems of performance or compatibility with third-party software.

    Your library must be affected by these measures, but it is also related to backup and recovery advice if necessary.

  • App-Manager does not connect to the Simulator OS Firefox on Windows 7

    When I run the simulator it opens fine and I see a Firefox OS Desktop
    But the App Manager does not connect. The console at the bottom right says:

    .. connection timeout. Possible causes: has not clicked 'accept' (guest).

    .. .disconnected

    I have disabled my firewall, restarted firefox and even system - did not help

  • Wacom Cintiq 13HD - "a supported Tablet not found on the system."

    You just bought a 13HD Cintiq (no touching) and installed the drivers Wacom on my Macbook Air w / OS X 10.11.4. It works as a second screen, but I can't get the pen to do anything and when I look in the preferences system under the Wacom component I see nothing except a message stating "a supported tablet was not found on the system." I have installed the latest driver and two former previous drivers and restarted several times now. Any help?

    I get the runtime error after when I try to use the function AutoCorrelate in Labwindws 2012.

    Function AutoCorrelate: (return value is-5094 [0xffffec1a]). Function not found in the scan DLL library.

    I have included advanlys.h at the top of my function and added the LFP to advanced for my custom libraries of CVI analysis.  I am tring to use the sample code I copied and pasted from the online help documentation.   I can't locate the corresponding advanlys.dll the advanlys.h wants to make reference.

    Example code below:

    AutoCorrelate (x, n, ALGORITHM_CORCOR_NO_NORMALIZATION, rxx);

    Same here, but I noticed that my sharing folder is the same as my old CFS files developed with CVI 8.5.1.

    CVI shared Dir = "/ C/Program Files (x 86) /National Instruments/Shared/CVI.

    I looked more closely in this folder structure and concluded that:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\Analysis

    published the nianlys.dll of CVI 8.5.1.    My new installation of 2012 has made this squash a copy later.

    Maybe it's the first of many cases where older versions with new conflict.    I regret trying to keep the old version of the CVI on this machine to support the previous facility.

  • Cannot install KB982331 KB981715 & KB982312 "the expected version of the product is not found on the system.

    I have the Compatibility Pack installed so that I can open .docx files of type 2007 etc.  Apparently the updates of Windows 'think' I have Office 2007 if updates following KB982331, KB981715 and KB982312 are queued to be installed, but they are unable to install it because I have not Office 2007 is installed.

    Support of Microsoft's solution was to uninstall the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack.   I chose to ignore the updates and keep the ability to view Office 2007 extensions.

    In addition, contact the support does not count as a solution, especially when the problem is not resolved by the project "fix."
