Touch calibration

Is there anything like a touch calibration on the device.  It seems that I have to touch the screen several times before the selection I choose rises.  I see the point but it is not where I wanted it to be.

Thank you

I found a way to reach the test, I'm not sure that that means, but he could make calibration at 100%.  In the end he asked me if I want to send my results, not quite sure what that means.

But whatever here is how get you to it.

(1) start the Launcher, is the gray white arrow button on the quick launch Panel, click on it!

(2) launch the app "device Info".  It's on the 3rd page for me.

(3) scroll past, phone, version, serial number.  There is a button more information, until it clicks!

(4) you should see that your phone model number, Wifi and Bluetooth Mac looks something like 00:10:A2:10... If you see this, you're in the right place.

5) click on the Preferences Menu, it should be in the upper left corner of the screen.  He drops down more options, including the «Interactive Tests» ... ", until it clicks!

6.) in the window of interactive tests, the second try for me ' Touch sensors -area of the touch screen and gesture. "click on it!

(7) follow test instructions.

Maybe someone Palm can shed some light on what that means exactly, or at least a link to the documentation...  I couldn't find anything about it either but just figured this out playing with the pre.

  • How can S2340T, I turn off the touch function?

I am running the S2340T monitor on a Windows Pro 8.1 System.  Touch calibration occasionally goes haywire, but I've always been able to open the tool pen and Touch and recalibrate.  Except that now, it doesn't seem to be "holding".

As I rarely use the tactile aspect of the screen and am completely comfortable with my trackball mouse, I would just turn the tactile aspect * off *.

How can I do this?  I know that you go to the Device Manager, but how to know what 'Human Interface' element it is?  I'm a gamer, so I have a * lot * of human interface elements.

    Thank you!

Disconnect the monitor cable computer USB upstream will turn off the monitor to "touch" feature This means that you will not be able to use one of the USB ports monitor downstream.

In order to get it working again, I need to activate/disable the driver in Manager of devices or lock/unlock the laptop. • Calibration touch screen CLIQ 2

I have problems with the touchpad by using methods tap both swype, which suggests that the calibration is a little off. As a result, it is almost impossible for me to use the on-screen keyboard.

I've not found anything that suggests that it is possible to change the calibration - that is to say, to train the software to understand where I think the items displayed are against where he thinks they should be. I would like to have the functionality that has been on my first Palm Pilot - where she displays a few points and asked me to type them.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there really no way to recalibrate the touch screen?

I installed the Motorola screen protector selling T-Mobile for this phone. Is it possible that the screen protector causes?

    Thank you.

I found with the Cliq XT and Cliq 2 and the screen protector

does not seem to cause any problems with the touch screen. I would suggest trying your

  • Portege A200 - calibration touch screen

    Hello
I tried to get a touch screen of 8 "with my 200A. There is no problem with the see etc. The problem I have is that when the system is switched between the laptop and the monitor, touch screen resets the graphics settings for laptop (1024 x 768).
I'm turning the screen touchscreen at 800 x 600 and laptop to 1024 x 768. How set system so it will remember the settings?
    TIA
    Wayne

    Hello

The European driver Toshiba page provides protected A200 drivers, they are placed in the archives.

I checked this and found a posting for external monitor Service.
I recommend that you install this.
In addition, the laptop seems to use the internal graphics chip 852GM. It s from Intel.
Then maybe you need to update the display driver too.

Last but not least check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS.

    Welcome them

  • Portege M700 Touch problems

I recently bought a Portege M700-110 and try to use my finger instead of the pointing device.

However the calibration of the finger presses a wrong, because when you press the center of the screen is not a problem. But when pushed somewhere to the left or the right unit missed completely the place where I hit and instead, the cursor appears at the edge of the screen.

I looked the utilities but see a calibration in one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Andrew

Unfortunately, I don't have this model of laptop and cannot give advice but an info is interesting to me. Manual s document of the user according to Portege M700 is delivered with two different screens. One is the screen DIGITIZER model and operations on the screen display can be made using the Tablet PC Pen only.
The second is the DIGITIZER and TOUCH screen model and on this screen can be done by a finger or pen PC Tablet.

The question is: can you have? Is it possible to check this? Can you please confirm you DIGITIZER and TOUCH screen?

  • 300 - 1025uk: touch does not.

Please can someone help with my touch screen!

A few weeks ago, it was working fine, all are recognized OK of entry.

Then one day it just stopped working. No touch input is recognized at all.

I tried reinstalling the drivers HP and NextWindow, did a system restore in the case where an update caused the problem but still no luck.

Hope that there is a HP employee out there that can help you, or someone who has had a similar problem.

Hi iowav: I'm not a technician than a Touchsmart 600-1025 owner. Have you tried the convenience store to touch? GoTo all programs click on help of PC & Tools file. Click on convenience store touch and let it run. This will be dynastic touchscreen stuff. If this solves the problem. I recommend that you run the Touch Screen Calibration Utility once a week is enough less than a minute to run. Also set up at HP Support Assistant to mount at least a song Once a month and check mark all the options. I have my computer for more than a year and had no problems with it sence, I had the technician replaced damaged HP CD player and help me files missing software install HP. Because when I bought it wasa Bestbuy to showcase the computer display. I also run check disk once one mouth this fixes also the drivers and software issues.

  • iMac - screen Calibration two iMacs

    Hello everyone

Someone has advice or tips on how to use the utility of calibration of apples own monitor? I am trying to get two iMacs look even.

We have two iMacs at work, one is a 27 inch (end 2013) and the other is a brand new 27 inch Retina. Both are 3.2 GHz Intel core i5, and the two are running OSX 10.11.2. We do not work for printing (for the moment anyway) but I don't want the two screens to look the same, that we work together on the same projects. We cannot extend to a material standard, so I tried to use the Apple monitor calibration utility. In addition, I find it really hard to use, (give me a real headache squinting at the thing tiny apple!) it produces completely different results.

I realize that the new is a Retina display and also has a different graphics card, (an older AMD Radeon R9 M380, the other has a NVIDIA GeForce GT M 755) and so they are different, but I thought that calibration should at least have their similar but they are miles! I have the color of background on a dark - gray middle on both, but they look just so different.

I tried a demo of SuperCal but came out shocking! He made the model of the retina really dark and yellow!

Anyone has any advice or know one better material another utility that could produce better results?

    Kind regards

    David

First of all, I wouldn't touch the settings of the retina. Your best chance is to play with the settings on the older iMac. The problem is the iMac of the retina is so much better, it will be impossible to match the two.

  • Lenovo C320 - touch screen does not

    Hello

I just bought a new essential Lenovo AIO C320 series last week.

And since the first day, I was not able to use the touch screen feature.

The driver is installed but when I touch the screen it does not record anything.

I get the calibration screen also but no tactile response.

Ask your help for the same thing.

    Thanks in advance

  • ThinkPad Yoga gestures on touch screen

    Hello

I have the problem that all the actions of Windows 8.1 works perfectly well with the Touchpad, but most does not work with the touch screen.

Pinch to zoom in, click on a finger or selection or longer a finger click for menu right click drop-down menu work fine.

Especially in tablet mode, it's annoying to have to enter the pen to use slide from the side of the screen to the right to open the bar of charms and not being able to use my finger.

I guess it's just a problem of parameters which is a little hard to find - or I'm blind looking for it - because with the exception of theses actions the touch screen works fine and precise as it should.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

PS. : The Machine is a Thinkpad Yoga

EDIT: Ok, I've just discovered in playback Mode when the camera is on the right side, everything work perfect - the other 3 positions the problem is still

I had a similar problem on mine. Recalibrate the touch screen fixed.

Many people have problems with this on Windows 7 devices that came with touchscreens when at the edge of the touchscreen is not capable of being touched. I'm guessing that Windows 8 requires the button start to limit (or beyond the edge) of the screen for the gesture to be detected.

When the screen is badly calibrated, when you touch the edge of the screen, it registers as just inside of the edge and is detected as a click instead. Given that the calibration does not change with the rotation of the device, I'd be your vertical calibration is ok (because it works in playback mode), but that your horizontal calibration is a little off.

If you are looking for "Calibration" in the Control Panel, the "Tablet PC Settings' contains the menu to recalibrate the touch (and the pen if you have a) entries
