  Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they're loading of parts of
  themselves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean that this issue has been
  caused by those, however, it's a possibility depending on which and how many you have installed.

  You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
  Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
  correctly.

  Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

  Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

  CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
  tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

  Hello, I get the BSOD error message when I eject a game disc every time. It's sort of a stop error message. ::

  Error 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, 80515b9d, parameter3, parameter4 f7bdb930 f7bdbc34 parameter 2.

  I've updated the drivers for DVD players, and it seems to have worked so far. Thanks to each of you for your help.

• My DVD drive does not recognize DVD game discs.

  My NEC ND-4550-reader DVD - RW does not recognize DVD game discs.
  He has no problem reading movie DVDs and music CDs or access data CD and DVD burnt with data on them.
  I removed and let XP Reinstall the device and high-low filters removed the registry etc nothing works.
  I made a copy of a DVD game on another PC and it is recognized and install my PC.
  All DVD discs work very well on the other PC.
  I am running Windows XP Professional with SP2.
  MS Fixit controls indicate no problems.
  This would be a matter of software protection?
  All tried game DVDs are official records and not copies.
  The NEC ND-4550 uses cdrom.sys as pilot.

  Finally, I replaced the drive for a new one (Pioneer DVR-S18L) and everything now works as it should.
  So I suspect that it's a hardware problem and not one that can be resolved by any of the Windows settings.

  My son's new game disc [I guess that the conditions were not enough on our computer to it] was freezing so we tried to uninstalled but it is now the computer continually freeze after short periods of time.   I had many problems with my computer recently resolved. However, I have fun playing a game called "Rome total war" and played several times on this laptop. I tried to load this game, but a message keeps appearing telling me that access is denied and try again as an administrator. I double checked and verified that I'm ranked as one (is not surprising because it's my pc) but it still will not let me play.   Probably due to the update of Windows - KB3086255 security... This update blocks the various drivers of DRM (copy protection).

  Uninstall - KB3086255 - and bring mental health :)

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I saw your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook g7 and the problem with the speed. Here's a document on improving your system.

  Make sure that all updates are completed within the control panel or click the Windows key and start typing the laptop settings, then go to update.

  You could try a refresh of Windows 8. Please read the entire document before performing. This could restore all the settings on the PC.

• Pogo games won't load after installing windows updates

  Windows updates were installed last night. I was on the computer at the same time play games on pogo.com. I closed IE and authorized updates run. After installation and restarting, my pogo games will not load. Everything else on the site seems to work fine. Since thiese updates, I had the IE window pop up without be clicked to open, my voip for a short period, does not open. When I discovered the problem with the games, do not load, I tried to clear my NET temporary files, erased the java cache, which usually fixes this kind of problem. It made no difference. I ran disk cleanup, no change. I ran ccleaner, no change. I tried 2 restore points, failed on both. I have Vista OS. There were several updates installed, all but 1 were recommended, most of the rest were for components of microsoft office. I have all the modules of the tool bar disabled except for java, sun microsys, Adobe shockwave, components of Skype and norton/symantic components. I did a norton scan and nothing detected, my software is up to date. I have enough disk hard vacuum to play games online in pogo. pop ups are allowed for ea and pogo games. Should I tryu uninstall update 1 by 1 or what?
  Please answer as soon as possible. I tried to call support (@ 5:30 p.m. CST), but there was no answer. I am disabled and spend a lot of time playing games and "intermittent with friends" on pogo.   First thing I suggest is to reset the internet settings for Internet Explorer:

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options .
  3. On the Advanced tab, click reset .
  4. In the Reset Internet Explorer settings dialog, click reset to confirm.

  Then the next thing that I propose would be to re - install your Java installation.
