Transport jam ink DeskJet 845c

I removed an ink cartridge to bring to the store for a replacement and closed the cover of the printer.  When I got home, I opened the cover of the printer, waiting for transport to move the cartridge door at the Center as usual, and it does not move.  I hear a mechanism making a "tent" sound, but after a second he stop trying.

I can't figure out how to remove the skin on the printer to try to access the cartridges now hidden.  I hope that by placing the new cartridge in place, transport may decide to move again.

So far, nada.  I have pulled slightly shaken slightly, etc., but do not have an idea of what mechanisms might look like should I check, as I can't get the skins out of the side of the printer where the transport is seated normally when not in service.

Help!

I finally found the problem, but it took some brutality to remove the skins on the cartridge "parking place" (under the cover on the right).  Plastic snap to attach the skin to the metal chassis (at the bottom of the printer) had to be broken, but this isn't a big deal, just hard to do.

With a screwdriver, I slowly moved the gears under the cartridge door stuck and connected to the power supply.  After this a few times, the cartridge door finally "taken" and moved along the distribution to the center position.  Under the cartridge parking space was a ton of Gummy of ink (ink + dust) which had prevented the smooth retraction of a platform that seems to extend in the cartridge when the printer is not in use.

I turned off and cleaned the goo better I could and replaced the cover back as much as possible (a few broken pieces do not affect functionality, but not all together 'snaps' as the original), and it works fine again.

It does not appear that this Panel is designed to be removed to access a holder/cart cartridge stuck in its parking location.  Too bad the shots had to be broken to gain access to this area, but at least it works again!  All's well that ends well, I thank you again for your suggestion.

So it ended up being a mechanical problem of gum-to the top instead of an electric, because I suspected from the beginning, but just couldn't get off this cover!

    Hi craigbaker1,

What are the levels of ink in each cartridge?

I would recommend reinstallation of ink cartridges and replacement of low ink.  Are you able to move the cart?

You can also try a hard reset in the following order.  To do this, unplug all cables including the power cord at the back of the printer when the printer is still on.  Unplug the other end of the power cord.  If there is a power supply on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.  After 60 seconds, plug the cable directly into a wall outlet ( not a surge protector or battery backup ) then plug it into the back of the printer.  Are there changes?

  • 'transport jam' paperless in the officejet pro 8500 printer

I received a fax and then "clean printhead" appeared... 15 minutes later... always cleaning... I shut it off with the power button... waited 2 minutes and then turned back on it... "jam carriage error", I check the whole printer inside out and backwards on the side... I turned it off again... unplugged it... and rekindled it... then I saw "replace ink cartridge"... the cyan and black... I took the cartridges off... put them back in and then looked at the ink level... There are still many at a time... then I get the "jam carriage error" once again... and nothing that I may change this in the window... If I click OK in the window... it says "Printing cancelled... then back to 'jam carriage error'... I think» also the transport of ink is pasted on the right side... He tried to pass it... and cannot without ripping it out of the printer... when I opened the box in the back... it was ink on the right side...

It is 3-4 years, because I had it... and put some miles on it... I do PITCH it... just bought the 8600... still in the box... or is there hope... and of course, I just bought and put new cartridges color... lol... Thank you...

I count on the printer immediately.  It may be just a deep reset to clear the problem.  Run through this document.  If it doesn't help you to solve the problem, then go ahead and get rid of the printer.  Let me know what happens.

  • HP Officejet 7610: Just bought and implemented - transport of ink stuck closed

Just purchased HP Officejet 7612 last night. Has crossed the entire Assembly process - with horrible instructions anywhere.

Is the facility only to find out that the transport is stuck in the closed position.  3 of the report 4 ink carts that they are not installed correectly causing the tostuck head of print/transport in closed position.

I have $83.00 applies ink to replace the carts of configuration but are unable to them.  I tried all the troubleshooting tips, and they talk only about paper jams.

    Anyone ever experience?

Hello @JMCarrigan and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you are having problems of transport. I would like to help!

I would recommend starting with a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I suggest following the procedure described in this document:

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

    Hello

I understand you are having a problem printing with Deskjet 845c printer. I will definitely do my best to help you with this.

It could be a couple of things causing this problem for you, then I would like you can start by checking the cartridges and work your way through this document.

Another good step to try is to connect the printer directly to a wall jack to make sure it gets all the power it needs to function properly.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • HP 7310 transport jam becomes jammed traffic!

I have a HP7310 all-in-One and a Windows 7 PC, which works well for a few years and just got the error message "Carriage jam" feared after a weakest page. I followed the instructions HP release of this http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00042632, including the replacement of the ink cartridges online.  Following the instructions, I moved to the Middle transportation (where he stopped when the original error has occurred) on the right side of the machine and cleaned gently from the machine.  Transport is now stuck on the right - she will go only left about an inch or so and of course the transport Jam message is there. I read in some forums on this site that there is no non repairable this possible repair, but on a further mention of sites of the means to free transport. I liked my 7310 HP - if there is anything that I can try to free transport and clear the carriage jam error, would be very grateful to the community of HP. Thank you!

If you can't find any debris locking trolley in place, then I, unfortunately, can't unlocked transport. I don't know of a workaround to allow you to manually unlock the transport if it is blocked.

You can consider replacing this printer.

  • HP Deskjet 845c stopped printing in the middle of a job and don't print any more

My deskjet 845c was printing fine and then suddenly stopped printing in the middle of a page. The power light is on and steady, and the orange light blinks.  I can't print at all at the moment.

I followed the troubleshooting listed using the HP diagnostic Print and have removed and cleaned the ink cartridges, but the orange light still flashes.

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

It seems that one of your cartridges has failed.  I don't remember if the printer Deskjet 845c is printed in reserve with a deleted cartrdige mode.  If you then remove the cartrdige color and try to print a test page.  If this works the cartrdige of color was at fault.  Otherwise then reinsert the cartrdige color and remove the black cartrdige and print a test page.  It worked?  If so, the black cartrdige is at fault.

If the printer will not print with a cartrdige deleted then I would replace the black cartridge with a replacement fee.  My experience suggests that the black cartrdige is usually the culprit...

  • HP Deskjet 845c on windows 7 64 bit

    Hi evry body
I can't install my printer on Windows 7.
However, it is succfull installed on Vista.

Please, where can I find these drivers!

Hi and thanks for writing, test what you say and always gives me the same error "windows could not get a list of devices from windows update. "Please try again later" I live in Cuba, and my connection is very slow, if I give a link where download you would be easier

OK, this is not quite a direct link, but try the following: go to catalog Microsoft update site (you will need to use Internet Explorer, not FIrefox or another browser).  In the search box, select Deskjet 845c, and then press ENTER.  There will be a list of four choices, one you need is that which is 11.6 Mb in size (it is the 64-bit version).

  • Photosmart 2575: eprint causes transport jam

    Hello

The HP Photosmart 2570 series is not supported by the HP ePrint software, so you may experience problems.

You can find the following table with web solutions offered for any model of HP printer, HP ePrint is not supported for your printer:

I suggest trying the HP Print Service Plugin that seems to support your printer and check differences using this solution:

  • HP Officejet 7310 transport Jam

I tried all the recommended solutions and still cannot get it printed, he tries, but then I get the error message

    Jam of transport

Door open, clear transport jame and then press OK to continue.

    Hello

Please check if there is no paper stuck near the transport area. If found remove it.

Also, check if you are able to manually move the carriage.

If the truck moves automatically / manually, then we might have to reset the printer. Therefore, check your Inbox for the steps to perform the reset.

If the transport does not move, the printer must be repaired.
