  • My Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse does not communicate with the Transceiver.

After the return from a road trip, I plugged my Miccrosoft wireless optical mouse and keyboard. At first, communicate with my Toshiba Satellite laptop, but the keyboard now works. The mouse works sporadically if I push the reset button on the Transceiver and he travels the three lights. When I check the State of the mouse, it shows good batteries (I replaced the still) and the right signal. The computer apparently see the mouse, but somehow the orders do not get through the ARVA. Any ideas?

    Hi Peter,.

What is the model number of the Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse?

I suggest you try to connect the transceiver to another port. Then check the behavior of the device. By trying the receiver on a different port, you can eliminate all the problems affecting the port itself.

  • New Logitech mouse will click, but don't move?

    Hey,.

My mouse wheel broke, but the function of the buttons and moving still works, so I bought a new mouse (Logitech).

When I plugged the new mouse in the light came, I could scroll left and right click but don't move.

I already reinstalled the drivers but it won't work. Also when I tried troubleshooting the mouse he says ' your mouse works correctly with USB 3.0, USB 2.0-move. I did it but I still get the same error message

I really hope there is a solution soon because I can't play or use my PC correctly without a scroll wheel.

I hope to hear from the community as soon as POSSIBLE,

    Stephen Darcy

    Hello Stephen,

This problem could occur due to these reasons.
    1. missing updates.

    2 conflict between third-party applications.

    3. due to material damage.

Try the steps listed here and see if it helps.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to download and install all Windows updates available including optional updates. Check if it helps.

  • HP Omen: Questions of Touchpad HP Omen

    Hello

I just bought a new HP omen and it's a great laptop but I have problems with the touchpad.

I have it configured as I want it in the Control Panel, but I still have questions, specifically around right click. The two questions I have are:

    1. Right-click involuntary. I discovered that this happens when I leave my finger on the touchpad while using a second finger to click. This always results in a right click, which is annoying, because I don't want to remove my hand from the touchpad, whenever I want to click on something
    2. Impossible to do a right click with right click on the button. The right click button only works if I put my finger right in the right corner at the bottom, which is annoying that I'd rather widely that the clicker is shared 50: 50 left and right. Basically, I stop everything and find very precisely the lower right of the touchpad everytime I want to do a right click.

I can't find solutions to any of these problems online. Can anyone help?

    Kind regards

  • Example: HP laptop 15 TS: disable the cursor pointing

Hi all. new here, so I hope I'm in the right place. I'm having no end of trouble with my 6 month old HP 15 TS Notebook PC, running Windows 10, although this happened the 8.1 win also.  This thing "hover cursor" is driving me crazy! How the hell can I disable it? I looked into the area of easy access, and it is unchecked in the little box and was not good from the start. Not sure if this is related, but sometimes simply move the curor did all sorts of weird things. Zoom window Exchange and video screens ranging from full screen to the default size. of course, it sometimes becomes very frustrating. Not a good option at all, in my opinion.  Thanks for your time.  Rick

  • HP ENVY 15 t-k200 CT: HP ENVY - 15 t-k200 CTO gel touchpad?

    Hi all!

I just got my my new laptop, a HP ENVY 15t k200 CTO Tuesday and I have noticed sometimes the touchpad seems to freeze randomly for a few seconds. Normally if I touch once again, once or twice, it will release.

Now, I'm not entirely sure what's happening.

I looked for an update of the Touchpad, but my laptop says I have the last and I also seem to have the latest version of the BIOS (F.36).

So I don't know if it is a real problem or if I'm simply get it right or something. I know where the 'Special' on the sides control areas are so I'm not touching those when this problem occurs. I also tried to vary the amount of pressure that I put on the light, touch pad and with more pressure and the same problem occurs.

    I'm really confused now, haha.

    Thank you.

    Hello @Krissy92,.

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read on your HP ENVY 15-k200 Notebook and the Touchpad of freezing. Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the mouse and Touchpad sensitivities.

If you go to the section on the score setting TouchPad and ClickPad sensitivities should help solve the problem.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers that may need to be updated.

Hope that solves your problem with the TouchPad.

  • Two finger gestures has stopped working

    Here's my hardware:

    (Personal information by moderator)

Microsoft has downloaded a 8.1update in the last days (today is 12/12/2014) and since it was installed, my two fingers gestures no longer works, both the scroll and pinch.  Je soupçonne qu’ils violèrent le pilote.  Here's my current touchpad driver Info:

    Supplier: Synaptics

    Date: 26/07/2013

    Version: 17.0.6.2

Tried rebooting, tried to download the update of the driver (not available).  Any ideas?  It works differently, but both my gestures of the 2 fingers and 1 finger (or 3 finger or finger 4) everything works the same... they simply reposition the cursor/pointer.

    Hi @wayne0731 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read on your HP laptop and have them with the Touchpad click the button doesn't work does not correctly. Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the mouse and Touchpad sensitivities. I think that the driver is not updated.

Here is a link to the drivers. Just put in the drivers of your model and type.

You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.

When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

    Hope it will be useful.

    Thank you.
