Trying to connect locally to W2012 R2

Hello

First time post here :)

My question is related to W2012, R2. I'm trying to MOP him. When I use hostname\username I can not connect. Hostname is the name of the server W2012. I received: the requested session access is denied. When I use the. \UserName I am able to connect.  I have long connected to W2008 and I always used hostname\username where hostname is the name of the windows server. I'm using W7 64-bit. My question is why it works with. \UserName and it does not work with servername\username. Have searched for an answer, I have not found an explanation. Appreciated.

    I'm trying to connect my photosmart 26110 printer to my wireless home network. By following the online instructions, I find when I get to the network menu on the printer, I don't have a network configuration option. So now what?

    The printer is currently connects to a PC via USB. I want wirelessy this network printer for my Mac to print to it also.

    LAN means Local Area Network.  It comes to your home network.  WAN means Wide Area Network.  This is the port to connect to your service provider, or in other words, where the Verizon's Internet connection needs to connect.  It shouldn't be to hard to get the Macbock to install the printer on the network.  The document below will guide you in the process.  Let me know what happens.

  • Second laptop unable to connect; When trying to connect wirelessly, says connection is successful, but the Public unidentified network, no Internet.

    Hi all.

    I'm really sorry to post this question, I must have read 100 other threads on this topic, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

    I have a home set wireless network in place, which may not have a lot of problems with it that I have a laptop W7 which has a perfect wireless connection, and also our TV connect when you want, as do our phones and Xbox.

    We bought a second hand Acer aspire laptop for our daughter. It is running Vista Edition family Basic. Even if she had the factory reset done on this, because we can connect to the router with an ethernet cable and it works very well, we managed to ensure that all updates of Windows etc are all complete.

    When trying to connect wirelessly, it says connection successful, but it is to a Public unidentified network, and there is no Internet. Also, even if it says Local access, we cannot connect to the router settings page is.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the built-in wireless adapter and updated the driver to do this, he says that he is as up-to-date as possible.

    I checked that DHCP is enabled, we tried dynamic and static IP addresses, we have disabled and re ipv6 enabled, we used the command prompt to reset winsock and stack ip, I looked into msconfig services for service # Id_String1.6844f930_1628_4223_b5cc_5bb94b879762 # Apple off but it isn't here.

    I have a real dislike for Norton / products McAfee and there is none of these on the laptop. We will install Comodo Internet Security, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Spybot S & D and Spyware Blaster as soon as the wireless is configured and that the Windows Firewall is disabled.

    We also have many turns of the spin off the coast and laptops, etc. and deactivation and activation of the adapter.

    It seems that all the usual solutions for the lack of connection are not the culprits this time.

    IPconfig for W7 laptop that works well is:

    Norton or McAfee pre-mstalled of recovery of the manufacturer media?

    If so, did you uninstall it AND run the tool to remove the appropriate product manufacturer?

    Download the Norton removal by https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?lg=english&ct=united+states&docid=20080710133834EN&product=home&version=1&pvid=f-home

    Close all other programs, and then run the tool. When it is complete, reboot the machine if she wants it or not.

    Download the removal of McAfee Development tool from:

    http://download.McAfee.com/Products/Licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    Click on save and save the file to a folder on your computer.

    Navigate to the folder where you saved the file.

    Right-click MCPR.exe and select "Run as Administrator" to run the removal tool.

    When you're finished, restart.

  • connection failure: unknown username or bad password. Windows 7 computer tries to connect to Vista

    I bought a PC W7 and tries to connect to other computers on the network. I can connect to one, cannot connect to the other, but see them as well in the network and sharing Center/view network computers and devices. When I try to log into the device poor, the system automatically changes the ID of the user - I'm on ADMIN, try to connect to GUEST - it varies from my sign in COMMENTS to ADMIN_PC\GUEST.

    I connect to the local network of the W7 machine wireless. Vista machine I can connect is connected via the ethernet connection to the router. The machine, I can see, but cannot connect to is connected to a switch via ethernet and then connected by ethernet to the router.

    After reading discussion forums, it seems that this problem could be resolved through amendments to the local security policy - network security: LAN Manager authentication level, but I can't find where to do this.

    I'm at the end of my thether - I believed the hype and thought that W7 would be easy to use. What should I do to get this thing to work?

    You don't need to change anything with LAN Manager. The problem is probably related to point C below. Here are the steps of general network troubleshooting. Just cannot apply to your situation, so just take the bits that are. It may seem daunting, but if you follow the steps in the links and suggestions below calmly and consistently, you will have no difficulty to implement your sharing.

    Problems sharing files between computers on a network are usually caused by 1) a misconfigured firewall or a firewall neglected (including a dynamic firewall in a virtual private network); or (2) inadvertently run two firewalls such as the firewall of Windows and a third-party firewall. and/or (3) do not have accounts to the same users and passwords on all computers in the workgroup. (4) tries to create actions where the operating system does not.

    In Windows 7, go to control panel > everything in Control Panel > network and sharing Center. Click on "change the advanced sharing settings. You don't want to use the residential group unless you have all Windows 7 machines. If you do and you want to use the homegroup, see Windows 7 Help & Support. Otherwise, in sharing advanced:

    Discovery of plug in the network
    Open the files and printers sharing
    Turn on the sharing section Public folder sharing
    Plug the password protected sharing

    A. configure the firewall on all machines to allow traffic to local area network (LAN) as being approved. With the Windows Firewall, turning on window file sharing and printer as the above will take care of that for you. In XP, you can run the Network Setup Wizard or just enable file sharing / print in the Windows XP firewall exceptions. If you are not running a third-party firewall or you have an antivirus/security with its own firewall component program, then you're fine.  With a third-party firewall, I usually set up the allocation of LAN with an IP address range. E.g. would be 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.254. Obviously you would substitute your correct subnet. Refer to the safety of any third party program or the user forums for how to correctly configure its firewall. Do not run more than one firewall. DON'T STOP FIREWALLS; CONFIGURE THEM CORRECTLY.

    (B) to facilitate the Organization, put all computers in the same workgroup. This is done from the System applet in Control Panel, the computer name tab.

    C. create the counterpart of the user accounts and passwords on all machines. You do not need to be logged into the same account on all machines and assigned to each user account passwords can be different; accounts/passwords just need to exist and to match on all machines. DO NOT NEGLECT TO CREATE PASSWORDS, EVEN IF ONLY OF SIMPLE. If you want a machine to boot directly to the desktop (a particular user account) for convenience, you can do this:

    Start > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    XP - set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

    D. Si one or more of the computers on your network are XP Pro or Media Center, turn off Simple file sharing (Folder Options > view tab).

    E. create share as you wish. In Windows 7 I usually share the Desktop of the user and the Public directory.
    MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • ORA-28545-error when trying to connect to a MSSQL DB

    Like many others, I came across problems trying to connect to a MSSQL-DB. I tried various things mentioned in the forum, but nothing helped.

    I did the following:

    On Windows INFORDBSERVER02 servers where our Oracle11-Installation is hosted, I installed the software bridge in a different location.

    During installation, I decided to use the port 1531 for the listener, and then asked me about the connection parameters to our MSSQL Server:

    Our database is located on the 'profileserver02' server and the DB is called 'profile', but there was an entrance third (for me unknown) and I gave him the same value

    as the name of the server.

    The listener has started and there was a listener.ora with the following entries:

    LISTENER_PROFILE =

    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = INFORDBSERVER02.fmbb.local)(PORT = 1531))

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1531))

    )

    )

    ADR_BASE_LISTENER_PROFILE = D:\Ora_GW

    I then checked the initdg4msql.ora, which had entries

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = [profileserver02] / profileserver02/profile

    HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = OFF

    HS_FDS_RECOVERY_ACCOUNT = RECOVERY

    HS_FDS_RECOVERY_PWD = RECOVERY

    On the server where I want to get access, I've added an entry for the tnsnames.ora:

    dg4msql.INFORDBSERVER02 =

    (DESCRIPTION =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = INFORDBSERVER02.fmbb.local)(PORT = 1531))

    (CONNECT_DATA =

    (SID = dg4msql)

    (GLOBAL_DBNAME = dg4msql.INFORDBSERVER02)

    )

    (HS = OK)

    )

    Finally, I created a link DB:

    CREATE DATABASE LINK PUBLIC profile02 CONNECT TO "anw' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' USING 'dg4msql.infordbserver02 '.

    I tried to access the DB in issueing of position

    Select * from dual@profile02

    I got the errormessage:

    Error: ORA-28545: Von Net8 bei der zu einem Fehler diagnostizierter agent connection

    Cannot retrieve the text of the message NETWORK/NCR 65535

    ORA-02063: before 2 lines von PROFILE02

    SQLState: 99999

    ErrorCode: 28545

    Position: 19

    I changed one line in the listener.ora, namely

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = //profile [profileserver02]

    that got rid of this third unknown parameter, but nothing has changed...

    I tried to use the listener.ora.sample in the dg4msql directory

    LISTENER =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp (PORT = 1531))(HOST=localhost))

    )

    SID_LIST_LISTENER =

    (SID_LIST =

    (SID_DESC =

    (SID_NAME = dg4msql)

    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\Ora_GW)

    (PROGRAM = dg4msql)

    )

    )

    #CONNECT_TIMEOUT_LISTENER = 0

    but then the listener has not yet started.

    Any tips?

    For the first listener that you posted you do not have a section of SID. So he won't be able to lay a bridge. In addition, it would be easier when you use the earpiece of the spawn House door entrance to the gateway process o gateway.

    So put a listener.ora file at your home, gateway network\admin with this content:

    LISTENER =

    (ADDRESS_LIST =

    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp (PORT = 1531))(HOST=localhost))

    )

    SID_LIST_LISTENER =

    (SID_LIST =

    (SID_DESC =

    (SID_NAME = dg4msql)

    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\Ora_GW)

    (PROGRAM = dg4msql)

    )

    )

    Then stop the LISTENER_PROFILE listener, open a DOS window and correctly set the ORACLE_HOME. Change to D:\Ora_GW\bin and start the listener using lsnrctl start.

    What I don't understand is your comment:

    "

    I changed one line in the listener.ora, namely

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = //profile [profileserver02] '.

    I assume you are talking about initdg4msql.ora...

    So let's just check the link if it works...

    If not, please provide a status of Auditor for the listener of the entry door and an exit of tnsping from home using "tnsping dg4msql.INFORDBSERVER02" database Oracle

    Every day someone is trying to connect my Iphone6. Do I have to change my password every time? How can I stop this?

    Your post says that someone is trying to connect 'on' your iPhone 6 - have - they possession of the phone or they try to connect your Apple from another device ID?

    Note also that there are a number of phishing scams that send e-mails that appear to come from Apple, but are not current. Do not use any links in these emails if you are not.

    If they are trying only to log in instead of sign in successfully it would be not necessary to change your password. However, you can consider on for Apple ID - Apple Support two-factor authentication or frequently asked questions about check in two steps for Apple ID - Apple Support (if available) for more security.

    If they are correctly connected, see: If you think that your ID Apple has been compromised - Apple supports

  • Trying to connect a computer to the lan port Aiport Express "auto assigned IP address"

    I am trying to connect a computer to the lan on my Airport Express port. In preferences, it says "status: connected, Ethernet has an assigned IP address and won't be able to connect to the internet." Any suggestions?

    An "auto assigned" IP address indicates that your computer could not find or negotiate with a DHCP server to obtain an IP address appropriate for network access.

    It should be more on your network to provide assistance if you need it. For example, is the terminal of AirPort Express the only router in the current configuration of your network? What exact model do? What is the brand and model of your modem Internet?
