U2412M DVI - D dual link problem

Hello, I just bought a HDMI adapter to DVI - D but when I pluged in my monitor U2412M, the power light turned blue, but nothing showed on the screen, when I checked, I saw that the adapter is dual link DVI - D (24-pin) cable that connects my PC with monitor is the only link (18), it is because the cannot connect with U2412M cable dual link DVI - D? Do I have to buy a HDMI adapter single link DVI - D. Thank you in advanced for your answer

hafinisteam,

The U2412M only supports resolutions Single Link of 1920. So we provided only the DVI - D Single Link cable. You, you open the OSD (On Screen Display) - Source input and choose DVI - D during the test the:
computer output HDMI--> HDMI to DVI - D DL--> U2412M DVI - D SL

  • W540 - display resolution double screen with cable DVI - D Dual Link

I recently bought a W540 and connected to my Dell u3011 30 "monitor. I used the Dual Link cable DVI - D that came with the monitor and connected on my Dock Ultra. The maximum resolution I can get is 1920 x 1080? When I pass a display port cable I can achieve complete resolution of 2560 x 1600? Is there something I need to do to get the complete resolution of 2560 x 1600 with dual link DVI - D cable? I want to be able to connect 2 laptops to a normal screen and 1 entrance to port the screen so I need to be able to use the DVI cable on the 2nd machine while allowing resolution 2560 x 1600.

Port DVI - D on the Ultradock is single link only.

If you need DVI - D with double bond (i.e. 2560 x 1600) resolution, you need an active displayport to dual binding converter. StarTech makes, they should be about 80 USD or something in this region.

  • Connect new Macbook (USB - C) to dual-link DVI display?

I have a new Macbook (12 inches, retina - love), with a single USB - C. I also have a (old) Apple Cinema HD Display that would like the dual-link DVI connector.

How can I connect these two together?  It doesn't seem to be a combination of Apple adapters/connectors that will do the job for me.

You must first of all the USB - C for HDMI av digital multiport adapter.

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MJ1K2AM/A/USB-c-Digital-AV-multiport-adapter

Then an adapter HDMI / DVI

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MJVU2AM/A/Apple-HDMI-to-DVI-adapter

Connect together and on the USB - C port adapters.  Then connect a cable to the HDMI DVI to DVI for the Cinema Display and the USB of the cinema screen to the av multi port USB - C USB cable.

  • Connection to a TV with HDMI output with a Dual-Link DVI adapter

I have two monitors connected to my MacPro late 2013, an HDMI port and the other on the Minidisplay port (with a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter). Then I have a third monitor used for dubbing tracks, (22 in.) connected to an another mini display port with a Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI. Now, I don't want to connect to the Dual-Link DVI adapter a led TV 40 "in replacement of the monitor 22 '', so that I can make the tracks of dubbing in a better way. But the led TV has a HDMI port. The question is: can I connect the TV led to the Dual-Link DVI adapter, simply using an adapter DVI to HDMI? It work?

Not used that exact configuration but should work.

  • P2414H single link or dual link DVI - D?

Hello! Is the port on the Dell P2414H single link DVI - D or double link? I won't use Displayport.Should I use a cable single link DVI - D or a cable dual link DVI - D? If both work very well what is the best/recommended type of DVI - D cable between the two? Thank you.

The port is DVI - D Single Link HDCP, with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. Thus, it does not matter what DVI cable you use SL or DL.

  • Monitor flicker with T500 with adapter dual-link-dp accell

I have an external monitor from HP LP3065 30-inch, 2560 x 1600, I want to drive off my T500. I am now on my second accell display port to DVI double bond and still get power cuts monitor periodicals that last less than a second. At first I thought it was because of the insufficient power to the adapter supplied via the usb port, as pointed out in various places, so I got a usb high power with AC adapter Hub / CC. Did not help. Accell said it must be a problem of lenovo and that they had "reported" the question of lenovo. I exchanged the adapter for a new, just in case it might be a manufacturing problem, but the news is all the same. Has anyone got this configuration works correctly? If so, what dp-dual link dvi adapter are you using? Any special setting in your settings? I have the ATI Mobility Radeon 3650. All pilots are underway as is the BIOS.

Thanks for the comments. I replaced the accell adapter with a displayport - double bond of HP adapter and it now works fine just with my HP LP3065 (flicker). Therefore the adapter itself was really the problem, not the monitor or the drivers.

  • Portégé R600-102 - Port Replicator connection DVI on Slim 2 problem

I'm setting up a work environment to double screen.

I have connected my Toshiba Slim Port Replicator 2 (PA3603E-1PRP) to my monitor LG (M197WD) cable DVI - D single-link and Belkin (P35952ed) to another monitor via a standard VGA cable.

Although the second monitor works fine, the display on the DVI connection turns off intermittently and returns after a few seconds.

    Hello

As far as I know that the TOSHIBA Mobile Extension software should be updated to the State.
    Real software version is 3.87.00.

Go to the Toshiba European page and update this!
Also, please make sure that the BIOS is up-to-date as well!

The use of both VGA and DVI ports should be possible since the R600 are supported by this feature.

  • Dual booting - problem with the disk when trying to start windows

original title: problems with dual boot.  Windows does not play well with others.

    Hello

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit included with the computer.  I installed Fedorah and it works on my computer.  When I installed it, but I had my hard drive partion.  I left most of the hard drive (about 400 concerts) as it was, when I booted up Fedorah worked well and gave me the option to boot or windows.  When I started in the window, however, it wouldn't let me start my computer, it says I have a problem with my drive.  With XP, it gives me no problem, I didn't ignore the disk check, but with Vista for some reason it doesn't let me start.  It gives me a few options of restoration to the previous status confuses the computer he says I manually type in which windows in the command line.  I don't have my windows CD, the only other option that I have that seems to work when I click it is restoring to factory fault which I don't want to do because I don't want to lose all my files.  Please tell me what I need to do.

A refund Stsrtup of Vista Disk link.

Download the 64-bit on the right.

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

  • Dual monitor problems

I have been using two monitors (1 monitor my primary monitor, 2 monitor showing an extension of monitor 1) for several years now. All of a sudden, monitor 2 links is no longer. I swapped the connections from the cables to the back of my Tower. When I started my computer, startup began the 2 monitor, but as soon as Windows is fully booted, 1 monitor again became the primary monitor and 2 the screen went black. I guess this isn't a hardware problem.

After some tinkering on the video card Control Panel, I could get 2 monitor to display, but it is no longer made reference the name of the 2 monitor (Asus) as a monitor. It refers to the second screen as "Digital Display" and considers it a generic Non - PnP monitor. I don't understand how it happened, why it happened or how to get my second screen displays correctly again. Currently, monitor 2 a haywire resolution, and I can't improve it (my own, its because he does not recognize the Asus monitor properly and does not know the capabilities of resolution of it).

I hope someone can understand my problem and is able to help, because I simply can't understand it.

After the upgrade, whenever I do a right-click on an image with a link, it opens the link rather than opening a menu drop-down. Any idea on what is causing this behavior?

OK, think about it. Extension: Tab Utilities was the origin of the problem. Uninstall completely solved the problem, disable it does not solve it.

  • Web link problem

When I try and open a web link in an e-mail message for unknown reasons, that I now have the message:
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. »
It's a personal computer, so I am indeed the administrator but I'd appreciate help in eliminating this deduction.

What program of e-mail (name and version) are you using?  What version of Vista are you using?

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Dual monitor problem

I have a HP Pavilion p6733w-b desktop PC Bundle with 23 "monitor, AMD Phenom II X 2 511 Dual-Core processor and Windows 7 Home Premium, and I tried to connect my vs19 HP 19 inch LCD monitor to make a dual monitor, but each cord I never buy fits in ports at the back of the   HP Pavilion p6733w-b desktop computer . Is there still a rope out for me to do this work. Ive lost money on any cords 3-4

Your computer has a DVI - D and VGA outputs, monitor HP 2311 x has HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs... and HP vs19 monitor that has a VGA input. The computer bundle should have come with a DVI and a VGA cable... Connect the DVI cable (more great shape of rectangle) of the computer on the monitor 2311 x and the VGA (more small "D" shaped of) cable between the computer and the vs19 monitor. That should be all you need.
