The last attempt to resume the system from its previous location failed. Attempt to resume again?

    With the 2 following options:

    1. continue with system summary, (which does not work and I end up with the resumption of the "Windows" followed a blank black screen...)

2 Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu (I haven't ' truei stops because I wasn't sure what that meant)

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

I think that in this case, you will have to choose the second option - "Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu" and see if that fixes the problem.  If all etc. documents you had open before hibernation were saved, then you should not lose anything.  If there are unsaved changes (for example if you have added to a document), the file will be to the point that his last record and you lose additional data.

    Hello

You should try to first remove the battery and disconnect the power adapter for about 20-30 min. after that time reconnect both part and try to start Notepad.
Usually, this should help to restart the laptop.

In addition, a BIOS update must be performed.
I read that a BIOS update resolves many strange problems and that I myself remember the black screen problem could be solved also.

So check it out and good luck

  • Partial blackBerry smartphones load black screen

I need help with my Blackberry 9700.  I noticed that he had a blank screen and was unresponsive, so I pulled the battery with no luck.

It shows the loading screen (with an initial red LED) for 90% of the way and then goes to a blank screen.

No lights are on, and no noise alerts are heard (I tried to take a picture to hear the click).

One thing that I had not noticed before was the double arrow in the upper right, which I think is the icon of send/receive.  When it displays in the top-right corner, it is extremely distorted, and then seems normal shortly after.

What should I do?  I am away from home for the evening and could not connect to the Desktop Manager.  But is this my only option now?

    Thank you!

  • Lenovo black screen randomly Y50-70 times

Hi everyone I have a very strange problem with my laptop. Here's the Specs (copy-pasted from amazon because I'm lazy):

Lenovo Y50-70 39.6 cm (15.6 Zoll UHD IPS)
    Intel Core i7-4710HQ, 3.5 GHz
    12 GB OF RAM
    Hybrid SSHD 1 TB (8GB) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860 M / 4GB

Since I bought it (about 1 1/2 months of passes) after I installed Windows 8.1 and improved to 10 I sometimes get a black screen, no cursor as has happened repeatedly after upgrading to w10, always helped restart and everything was brilliant.

The thing is that my screen will not turn off, it's all black, but always on (visible by the light light is always built). It started to happen very rare, perhaps after a week or so, but today I get the problem constantly with different models:

    through normal startup:

-Start-up of the PC-> black screen

-Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> black screen

-Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> Windows load-> black screen

    -Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> Windows load-> welcome-> black screen screen

    -Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> Windows load-> the Welcome screen->-> connection-> black screen

-Start-up of the PC-> "LENOVO" appears-> Windows load-> the Welcome screen->-> connection-> after a random time: you guessed it - black screen

The list is repeated several times today which made me crazy enough then and now, also restart does not power more...

The same phenomenon occurs during Advanced Start (the small button to the left of the power button), even when I asked for a Startup Recovery. It works well is that during safe mode.

I tried several things, such as the removal of the Intel graphic card, which gave me access to the normal mode of the system. Here I have updated the BIOS to 3.0.3. Now, I'm testing the Nvidia Driver (relocation etc.). Interestingly, I have observed a disturbing "PnP-screen (standard)" which had a yellow flag next to it in Device Manager, although no second monitor is plugged into the machine. Maybe it's the a boring me severa hours today.

Also, I am plugged to my TV right now which helps me get at least a photo. During this State, there are also 2 'pnp front (standard)' listed in the Device Manager, none of them with the flag...

Guys do you know something about this problem, anyone has stumbled across it too much and THE TIPP to save me and my sanity?

    Kay, gentlemen.

After calling amazon (seller) and Lenovo and "help" from a friend, I decided to return to win8.1. I reinstalled the drivers, settled everything back the way I needed her, saved our day by finding our Starbound universe still exists and! No black screens no more. It seems that this unit has still some problems with the operating system most recent Microsofts then Yes, I'll wait... even though I liked 10... :/

Cases can be considered resolved and thanks for everything the world where with me on this quest. Cheers on you guys!

    Hello

You can access Mode safe? You start the computer, press F8 repeatedly. Cases in this use System
Restore and/or know last good configuration.

No registration necessary data and re - install Windows Vista may be the best option if
    Here are a few more.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd drive (the best) or a
External drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD,
or other USB keys. Of course, a real computer store or your system maker can help to recover
    the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph
then right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is
CTRL + ALT + DEL - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS
-then on the Applications tab - lower right kind - new task - in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode
is accessible by tapping F8 as you start several times. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC will also start task

  • (Redirected) USB Flash Drive Boot (BiOS) - black screen/freeze/without end of loading - need help!

    Hello community Dell:

I have been using your Inspiron desktop for work. Work requires me to a startup USB flash drive every morning to access work files and programs. I just press F12 and select the USB flash drive that brings me then in a workplace Ubuntu after entering my credentials - very easy.

I recently bought the X 51 office because I wanted the game after work and it was intended to replace the Inspiron.

X 51 issues (boot BiOS - secure boot off as with the Inspiron):

UEFI = I get a black screen after the "loading...". ', it freezes the whole system

Legacy = told me to restart the system and drive and the message repeats little matter what you press

I tried USB different slots, ending different to access USB - nothing works!

I tested another theory that would disable the GPU of the X 51, but this proved futile because the problems themselves was replicated. The GPU is the only unique component between two desktop computers. CPU is i3, i5 vs, vs 4g 8g, 1 TB vs. 2 TB, so I do not see these improvements of specification being the culprit. The X 51 has a different unique Alienware BiOS interface.

The X 51 will be returned to Dell unless someone can some up with a solution - I would be eternally grateful, thank you.

    Hi all

I have a couple of months it has installed Ubuntu 9.04 (which completely replaces Windows XP) on my Toshiba A350-122 and this worked perfectly, until a recent day.

One day, after having locked the computer, when I came back the screen was very dark and nothing was visible, except with the help of a powerful light behind. Reboot and remove the battery change nothing.

    * This is the case at the beginning of the boot, and even the Toshiba logo is not visible.
    * However, the system starts normally, and I can see in the darkness of my login prompt.
    * I can also select the BIOS Setup, but the screen is too dark.
    * I have no display on an external device.
    * It was not held after an update of the system.

The first time it happened, I got it repaired.
The guy has managed to make the display work and then restored Windows XP.
They said: ' + Linux is responsible for + "... we cannot do anything more!

I reinstalled Ubuntu, and it happened again the next day... :-(

    Hello

The fact is that Linux is not supported by Toshiba:(et vous ne trouverez pas tous les pilotes compatibles sur la page de Toshiba)

On the black screen issue, I think you should check if you're used to that a graphics driver right maybe an update will help.
