Unable to add printer to eprint.

I received an email from HP as below (indicated in blue) and I tried several times to add after registering my new account, if I understand that facebook no longer works. The problem is that when I enter the code printer continues to bring a message that is not valid, when I click on why, none helped me. I tried to change my printer a couple of times, then deactivation and activation service eprint and apps on my hp officejet 8500, the code for the printer I receive is the same. I tried several times the printer code after each intial response to disable the eprint and apps on the printer service and renabling. Nothing works. I came across some procedures of the cloud support call, I tried to call, but there is no. I'm in Australia. It may be an American number?

so I hope that this could be rectified, because I really hope on getting service eprint works again. I am totally disappointed in hp do this to my account without notice.

I hope hear from HP to fix this for me.

Kind regards

URI

You receive this e-mail because you have previously accessed HP ePrintCenter website with a Facebook account, and having a printer added to this account. You will be is no longer able to connect to HP ePrintCenter using your Facebook credentials. You will need to create a new HP ePrintCenter account and add your printer to this account. To do this, follow these steps:

Hi uri2013,

I'm terribly sorry that you have some difficulties.  To get a new code on the printer, remove it, then re - enable web services.  Go to your printer by selecting configuration > Web Services > restore factory settings.  After it is finished, go back to Setup > Web Services put back up.  In addition, the number of Cloud Services is a U.S. number.  Please let me know how it goes.

  • Unable to add printer drivers 64-bit to a 32-bit Server 2003 Server universal

I have a Laserjet 2015n that is shared on the network by a Secure Server 2003 R2 32 bit.  I'm trying to add 64-bit drivers for my Win7 laptop can access.  The HP site has only universal printer drivers, I downloaded but when I try to add them I get "the specified location does not a driver...". "because the 2015 isn't in the INFs.

How can I get around this?  I've seen solutions that suggest the Win7 laptop to connect to the printer via the USB port and install the driver in this way.  It is a major business issue so that the solution is not acceptable. I also had someone suggest using the hpfx64bulk.sys file but I can't find an inf file that works with either.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello again Shlomi,

I tried the fix you suggested and got the error "unable to install the printer.  The print processor does not exist.  It's the same if I try to install the drivers for the shared printer or existing TCP/IP port.

What I did in the end, is to change the driver that I used on the 2003 server to use the universal printer driver and then the 64-bit option was available.  Simple in the end, I guess!

  • Print server attached to the new network, but do not find add printer printer

After an upgrade to a new router (a Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400), I spent a LOT of time trying to make everything again to talk with each other.  I've gotten to the point where all the wireless devices PC AND my WPS54GU2 print server are all properly connected (I can log in from another PC print server and print a test page).

Unfortunately, I was completely unable to add the printer connected to the print server to the same PC that can open a session and ping the print server.  The wizard does not find just any network printer and when I type in the name of the server and printer I get the error message "the server for the printer"Print Server Null driver"doesn't have the printer driver installed."

    What I'm doing wrong here?

BTW - I wasn't happy that I had to lower the security of the new router WEP wireless, or that it only took the key to SPELL as the paraphrase, but I also noticed that the print server was not a option for the safety of new protocols there was an upgrade of the firmware available.  Are there new print there servers work better with better security protocols?

    Thank you

    Craig

If the installation wizard is not able to detect the printer connected to your print server. Make sure that the "printer" is correctly plugged into the PS and the Led for the same are lit on the PS.

Second, you can try to configure a TCP/IP port to make the printer work.

Start by defining a static IP address on the PS, and then set the TCP/IP port. The same link is given below:

Then, this model does not support the WPA or WPA2 Personal. You can go for WPSM54g that supports both the level of encryption that I mentioned here. See the screenshot below.

  • My HP Officejet 6500 has only prints via ePrint?

I installed my HP Officejet 6500 a Plus 2 months and it worked fine then.  The installation is with a Linksys E1000 wireless; I have updated the drivers and was able to Airprint to my phone as well.  I just came back to be out of town for 2 weeks and now I get the following error message when you try to print: "Unable to communicate with printer", the printer is unavailable or offline.  Similarly, when I search with my iPhone, I don't find any available printer.  I restarted the printer with no improvement.  The thing is, it seems normal and has internet access, with full wifi signal.  Not only that, but I sent a print job to the printer by emailing the ePrint site and which printed fine.   Any reason why the printer would always have wifi access and can print using ePrint, but not be available locally? (when they are all on the same wifi network)?

OK, let's put the whole system:

    1. close all (printer, computer, iPhone, everything).  Disconnect the power from the modem and router.

    2. start the modem by plugging the power cord.  Let it boot completely.

    3. start the router by plugging in the cord.  Let it boot completely.

    4. start everything else and let it connect to your network.

    Now, try to print.

Here is a video on add and manage applications print using ePrint Center (EPC).   He lead one through the process of access to the EPC, adding apps and how to remove an unwanted application. It will also show a way to learn more about an app before you add the application to the printer. The video will also show you how to rearrange the order of the applications on the screen of the printer.

And when I do try and add the printer, I get the window "can't open add printer." access denied. The printer and scanner both appear in Device Manager, even if I have to open 'show hidden devices' to see, but they tell me the drivers are not installed, but they are.

I am logged in as administrator. BTW I also just installed the same printer on a new computer win7 hp desktop and and it worked fine. I can also access it from another laptop running xp. all on the same network.

Don't think that bothers me as well if it didn't work, but it does not work.  The machine just tell me its there!

    Hi Worktel,

    • You have a third-party security software installed on the computer?

Step 1, I suggest to access the link below and follow the steps in the article to run a Printing Troubleshooter.  http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-cant-I-print

    Step 2

If the printer troubleshooter help you to solve the problem and you are unable to open add a printer, you can also try to temporarily disable the security software from the computer and try to verify if can install the printer and print. If gets detected and if you can print, you can contact the manufacturer of security software and check if you need to change the settings. Later, re-enable the security software.

    Step 3

If the steps above do not help, you can try to create a new administrator account on your computer and check to see if you can install it.

To create a new user account, follow these steps:

    a. open user accounts by clicking on the button start the picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.

    b. click on manage another account. Administrator permission. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    c. click on create a new account.

    d. type the name you want to assign to the user account, click a type of account administrator and then click on create an account.

If it works fine in the new user account, you can access the link and follow the steps for the corrupt profile Fix:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

Hope this helps and let us know the result.

  • How to stop the print cover sheet when you print using eprint? I have a B211A 6510

When you print using eprint address, I get an in addition to the document cover sheet.  I'm wasting paper and ink.  How can I stop this page from printing?

There are a few options depending on where you are sending from. If it is a document that you join I guess its from a PC, but I'll give you the mobile option as well.

The HP ePrint app on devices like iphones and ipads, or home HP ePrint and biz app on android, allows open files and send them via eprint not at home without actually sending an email. In other words, there is nothing in the body of an email to print. The link below you shows how to start with this app and use it.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01616126

The other option is the use of the pilot of mobile eprint from your computer. Add a printing device of your pc that actually sends jobs through eprint by clicking Print on the file menu. Using this method, you can print the elements of any application that supports printing, and you have the advantage of being able to specify duplex printing (if supported on your model) and the number of copies. It also means that you won't have to save the file, open an e-mail, attach them to an email and then send it. It is done simply by clicking file, print, and then choosing the printer after the initial installation. The link below you ask your operating system and will then download and manual on how to use the software.

  • LasrerJet P2015n: Low error when printing with ePrint to a LaserJet P2015n on iOS supplies

"Hi, I'm using the HP LaserJet P2015n, which works very well, however try to print using ePrint on iOS 8.3 seems to cause problems. If the application finds the printer on the network, and try to print, it invites a mistake "we have detected you are low on supplies error" obviously is not the case, because it is more than 50% of the full and prints very well using the desktop computer. The printer error LED keeps blinking and won't not even respond to a request for printing office. It must be restarted to work again.

Tried all kinds of reboot and reset. I also tried to find a solution with no luck, there is no updated firmware for this printer can be found as well.

Any help will be very appreciated!

    @hussain316

Thank you, based on the information you provided... the p2015 is not taken care of with ePrint. That's why whenever you send a print job for printing, the printer responds with error messages and you have to pick up then power cycle the computers can be printed successfully on it.

If you want to start mobile printing, then you will need to upgrade to a new printer with function ePrint. Depending on your price range, the new m277 is a nice little printer and has this ability.

    Sorry

  • No printer in the print, only icon in the "Add printer" Wizard dialog box

Windows XP Professional - Version 2002 - Service Pack 3

What would cause the print dialog box does not show printer, only the icon of the Add Printer Wizard?

This occurs in only one (Eclipse) application on the PC.

There are 20 printers in printers and faxes.

I can not completely through the Add Printer Wizard and it will be case add a printer and/or set as default, if specified printer.

However, the print dialog box displays always no printer.

7 developers here, 2 have Windows XP, with the rest on Windows 7.

Only two XP machines have this problem with this particular application.

Windows 7 machines have the same version of the same application, but the print dialog box normally works for them.

If I understand you correctly, everything works fine except the print in a particular application dialog box.  If this is the case, then maybe you should ask the promoters of this request for help/comment.

Otherwise, given that the problem seems to be in the interaction between a particular application and a few Windows print API (probably the Print spooler API), you will be much more likely to find competent people to MSDN or TechNet.  Unfortunately, given that XP is on its way, it has only a single forum TechNet for XP but there is a Vista printing forum who may be of assistance.

The Windows printing team blog seems to have been inactive for a while.
