Unable to browse the internet while connected to the VPN
Hi all..
It was working fine until yesterday morning... Since then, I am not able to browse the internet it I am connected to the VPN... I get a "Page cannot be displayed" error message... the second that I disconnect VPN, I am able to browse internet... I did not change/facilities to do... help please...
Thank you...
Check to see if you can ping by IP address (make sure that the DNS information are properly learnt). Also try setting MTU interface to 1300 in case there is a change within the network of your ISP. What is mode NAT or NAT device not compatible?

Booklet 70CT: unable to browse the network
I'm trying to connect my booklet 70CT to an existing LAN. I use a Fast Ethernet Linksys PC card in the booklet, connect a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router on a LAN port.
There are two other computers connected to the router network OK. I did all the installation procedures in the manual of the PC card and everything seemed to be working normally.
When I double click on network neighborhood on the booklet, I get a screen with "Entire network" in this topic. When I double-click it, I have a sign saying "Unable to browse the network."
Help, please.

Customers unable to browse the internet on the router from Cisco 871 K9
Hello world
"I just bought my Version of K9 Cisco router 871 running this flash system image: c870-advsecurityk9 - mz.124 - 4.T8.bin".
I am trying to configure this router for home use, while I can block a part of Web traffic (porn sites, sites of films because of the children), but I realized that I was unable to apply the access list Match-class version url (http host).
My major problem is still the base of the router config. WAN has a DHCP IP assignment with the 192.168.1.0 network
The Lan is supposed to have 192.168.3.0 network. IP addresses seem to be properly attributed but not able to ping on the internet router. Local client also cannot resolve DNS. Here is my cofig file.
Please help.

endHello
problem is that you have changed the IP address of the interface VLAN 1 from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.1.1
If you need to change by default-router dhcp pool:
Select conf t
Richard-Edet dhcp IP pool
no default router
default router 192.168.1.1
endNAT is also missing:
Enable
conf t
IP access-list standard NAT
permit 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255
output
IP nat inside source list NAT interface SA4 overload
endAlso perhaps you cannot ping the router console PC because the computer's firewall blocks the ICMP protocol. In windows, I'm sure he is blocked by the firewall. Then you can try ping 192.168.1.1 from the PC and it should work.
Try above changes and then write me if it works, or so we can make other changes.
You can also post the output of the commands (if this will not work):
router: ip road show
router: ping 8.8.8.8 (it should work if your internet provider doesn´t blocks the ICMP protocol)
PC: ipconfig/all -
Unable to browse the internet for the VPN (ASA5505 running 8.3)
We have improved our ASA 5505 to 8.3 firmware image (2) and we have a working VPN configuration (customer VPN in Windows can connect and browse the network of the company as well as their local networks [split tunnel seems to work in this regard]). However, some time connected they are unable to also browse the internet. In our configuration of 8.2 (1) we have done 'something' to allow remote users to browse the internet at the same time, but apparently this is not transferred in the upgrade.
I'm sure it's a simple nat our order routing, but it can't know. I've gotta hit the road now but will post our config this afternoon if no one knows the "secret" to do. Ideally, internet traffic to remote users out of their internet connection and not be achieved through the office. We understand the risks associated with it.
Hi Scott,.
To the best of my knowledge, I don't think that l2tp over IPSec supports split tunneling. If you use the Cisco VPN client, you should be able to get this working.
What we can do in this case is to set up turn on the SAA for these vpn clients. Please add the commands to run below:
permit same-security-traffic intra-interface
network of the NETWORK_OBJ_10.0.0.0_27 object
dynamic NAT interface (outdoors, outdoor)
Let me know if it helps!
See you soon,.

PSAA9 satellite A100 - unable to browse the Internet
Hello
I reinstalled the operating system on a friends computer laptop A100, installation of WINXP pro.
After I installed, I noticed that a lot of missing drivers so I scoured internet and downloaded most of them. The problem I have is that the ethernet connection seems to not work properly. I installed the driver on the toshiba site and hooked it up to a test network to my polytec.
On this network to test an internet connection is available, but the laptop cannot browse the internet! I can ping other PC networking on mobile Internet sites and ping but cannot browse their IE. Other network PC cannot ping the laptop automatically obtained IP address.
Any ideas what's happening?
Hello!
Have you tried another browser like Firefox? I don t use IE because Firefox is much faster and I can't get a large number of modules.
In addition, you should try to disable the firewall on the laptop. Maybe it s blocks the internet connection or the internet browser.
Last but not least try to use a static IP address. You can change this in the TCP/IP settings.

My Firefox browser is unable to browse the internet
Hey there! When I use Firefox to browse the internet I just get a screen that reads "it works!" Thoughts? I'm happy to send a screenshot of the screen.
It started when I installed the module for HTTPS Everywhere.
Problem solved. Embarrassing, I simply relied on tools "Clear recent history" and all selected. It works fine now.

Unable to connect to the Internet after connecting to a VPN server.
As soon as I connect to the VPN, I can't access the Web or e-mail.
An article published by Microsoft Support to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/317025 seems to refer to the same problem. However, it is for Win 2000 and NT platforms, not XP. The problem seems to be due to the VPN connection (being configured) to use the default gateway on the remote network.
Issues related to the:
- The problem indeed because the VPN connection is configured to use the default gateway on the remote network?
- If so, a) how can I know if it's like my VPN connection is configured and b) how I set up so I can use VPN to the network remotely and still being able to use internet locally?
Thank you.
Realize that the VPN is intended to establish a secure connection to a remote network via a public internet. Allowing a client computer at the same time secure access that a secure network and a public network may pose a risk to data leaks out of the network security in the public internet. If "split tunneling" VPN server controls is allowed on a client computer. If allowed by the side of the VPN server, the client computer accesses the VPN and the internet by unchecking the 'use Gateway on the remote network' box. For more information:

Lose the internet while connected to the VPN
I've seen quite a few threads of not being able to connect to internet when connected to the VPN. I tried to follow but have not be able to follow. I connect to the VPN via IE (that is connected by using Check Point). How can I go about it?
That's the problem of split tunnel. In general, the VPN tunnel can be configured on the client side (as the native client VPN PPTP in Windows for example) or side Server (like OpenVPN for example) to force all traffic through the VPN tunnel or not. If all the traffic is forced through the VPN tunnel, which is what your description, internet access is controlled by the VPN server. It is a safety precaution to isolate the network side server from your local network.
I would check with your network/VPN to help admins simply because may fall you on a server-side config that may or may not be changed according to their network security protocols.

Hey m,
can you go on the albums esx server into your virtualcenter
Try remapping to one of the existing NFS shares. You should get a message that the share already exists, but when you return to the summary page, you should be able to doubleclick on the NFS share and view folders (it's like trying to connect is enough to restore the existing connection)
Let me know how you go

Unable to access the VPN Client LAN
I configured a 877 for VPN Client Access. The Client authenticates and connects and receives an IP address off the coast of the pool of intellectual property. However, he is unable to access anything on the IP network.
I have included my router config. The VPN Client is v5.0.05.0290.
Any ideas on what I'm missing?
Can try reverse our ACL VPN-Client, I think that it is written in the wrong way
For example:

Note * permit VPN Client pool *.
IP enable any 192.168.201.0 0.0.0.255
or more precise
VPN-Client extended IP access list
Note * permit VPN Client pool *.

Unable to browse the internet despite being connected.
Hello
I seem to be impossible to to connect to the internet using msn, steam, xfire, not even Internet Explorer can connect and yet firefox can for a short period, but even that ends by stops. I don't know if it has something to do with the firewall because I had prior workprograms and add them as exceptions, any ideas?
I think that it could be down to zonealarm and perhaps truevector, cos despite ZA being installed on the computer it deosn actually seem to do something, I do not have the ZA icon on the taskbar and when I go to Security Center tells me that only Windows Defender and avast! antivirus which act as malware programs of protection, he said not ZA is installed, but is simply disabled.
Thanks, Gavin
Thanks to both of them, it turns out that it was TrueVector and ZA, I just uninstall it and its all working fine now.
