    Thank you

I ran this app above and that seemed to help to the function "store".  I still could not connect that I was getting the same error message, cannot connect to Xbox.  I rebooted and went from Microsoft Solitaire app rather than the icon section and it seemed to work... until now.

  • Windows 8.1 and cannot connect to the internet even though I have full WiFi access.

Original title: Windows 8.1 and cannot connect to internet even though I have full WiFi access-problem occurred just after working fine for over a year

Uses Windows 8.1 for over a year with no access to the internet.  Today, I can access is no longer the internet using Explorer, Mozilla Fire Fox or store apps.  (Tried to install a game just to test the internet connection-no luck).  When I try to connect the computer just sits there with the indicator connection just spin but never passes through.  I have good indicated WiFi (Internet) access.  While they inspected the updates, the only thing that appears on the current date is some Microsoft Silverlight is.  Could that that may cause my problem?  I didn't do any changes and have no problem until today.  I'm not always well informed in this area and I am at a total loss as to how to proceed, what to check... hope someone can advise me.   Thank you, DebbieG211

  • My Firefox don't surf the Internet, even though I am connected to the Internet.

Excuse me, but my Firefox 3.6 just randomly stopped working. It wont let me not browse the Internet more - it still gives me the error message is "Unable to connect", even if I am connected to the Internet. Earlier I open Safari and Internet Explorer 9 - both, in which, allow me to browse the Internet, and I had a complete connection. But, whenever I use Firefox now, it said 'unable to connect '. And whenever I type in a URL on it, Firefox gives me the SAME error message. I don't know what to do now. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it does the same thing. So now I'm stuck with using Safari, when I really want to use my Firefox. Why would he do that?

Make sure that you do not appear to work offline in the file menu.

It is possible that your connection has been interrupted, even briefly, more so if using wireless. Make sure that Firefox is not set on "[v] work offline" in the file menu just above output.

By default, Firefox 3.5 and 3.6 will automatically use offline mode if there is no network connection. Under certain conditions, after the connection is restored, it can stay in offline mode, without the user's knowledge. Firefox 4 and newer prevents this behavior by default. To prevent this behavior in versions 3.5 and 3.6, add an entry to the topic: config options, as follows.

       * Type about:config in Location (address) bar
       * Right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and use "New > Boolean" to create a new Boolean preference. Name: network.manage-offline-status. Value: false

  • Cannot access the internet, even though I am connected

New laptop running windows 7 - says it is currently connected to a wireless network that I know works well, as I am also connected on this computer.

But when I actually try to access the internet, I can't. I continue to turn the resolution of problems, and it cannot identify the problem.

It is connected via this wireless connection of last week.

Also, I already noticed that when I loaded the suite Office on this matter, I got on the phone to sign up, even if I had clicked the box - sign up online, and the connection Wi - Fi said I had a connection, and I was still online on facebook at the time.

Please help, I can't think what you're looking at the next, and now I can't even in facebook, google or anything using this laptop, even if it's supposed to be connected.

    Help

Thanks for your help, but in the end, I downloaded a Norton Removal Tool on another computer, before making the above post.

Then I loaded on the new laptop, he ran and rebooted. And when the computer is restarted laptop, I got instant access to the internet, so it seems that Norton (which was only on the laptop as a test program and not used) was what was preventing access.

Have now put Kaspersky on the laptop and fingers crossed, all right.

Thank you much for the help

    Hello

Thanks for the reply with more information.

A large number of variables are involved when you connect to a network: cables, drivers, network adapters and routers. Some common problems are:

    • A switch to wireless network adapter is disabled

    • Airplane mode is on

    • Poorly connected or disconnected cables

    • Wireless standards do not match

    • Missing updates

    • Incorrect network connection settings

    • Damaged or incompatible drivers

    • Hardware or software problems

Perform the steps from the link below and see if the error Stops appearing.

  • Equium M50: 2200BG WLan - unable to connect to the internet

    Equium M50 / wireless 2200BG Pro / Wireless eircomNETOPIA router 1642 4640 eircom

    Hello

I have Aproblem with my wireless connection

When I go to network connection I have 3 parts:

1-broadband: inside there is a connection to broadband in disconnected state

2 - LAN or high speed internet: inside there are 3 parts:
in connected state (wireless 2200 BG) wireless network connection
connection to the local network in connected state (marvell yukon)
connection 1394 (1394 network adapter) connected status

    3 - Assistant

So, normally the wireless connection works. But when I unplug the ethernet cable the part with the LAN connection is not connected and I can't connect to the internet, even though the wireless is connected.

    Can someone help me?
    Thank you in advance

Generally, it should be possible to set up the broadband connection data in the configuration of the router.
This must be done to connect to internet.

So if you have disconnected the LAN cable please check if the WLan switch lights and check the FN F8 key combination.
Then check if you can see the SSID in the Wlan network connections.
